I downloaded new wallpapers. I ended up deleting most of them. So when I turn the phone back on....the ones that were deleted are back again lol. How do I delete them? I go to album gallery and it keeps coming back.

I am having trouble setting any wallpaperthat I download from the internet. Any wallpapers that came stock on the phone will set fine bury any downloaded ones will simply not set and then I willget a force close message for htc gallery.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI downloaded Open Home with the DarkHero skin. In doing so, it made my wallpaper resolution 960x854. So rather than each window having a separate wallpaper, it is now one big one, just like the Moto Droid. Which is awesome in my opinion. The problem is setting new wallpapers. Is there a way to manually save downloaded wallpapers to the stock Wallpaper Gallery, rather than the Photo gallery where all of my camera photos are stored? I only ask because it keeps asking me to crop these 960x854 photos and select which window I'd like to change, when I don't want to do any cropping.

It works great but the stock one isnt bad either but how do I put my own wallpapers into the phones wallpapers NOT my pictures file. Now the wallpaper will only change when I choose a live wallpaper. If I choose a static image as my wallpaper, the wallpaper changes to an image that looks like the HTC Sense live wallpaper, only it doesn't move. Any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it?

View 13 Replies View RelatedI'm very new to Android programming, but have put a Live Wallpaper on the market, and its doing surprisingly well. What I want do is make some money out of it, but I don't know the technical architecture to use. What I want is for users to be able to change the settings of the wallpaper far more directly than through the whole wallpaper settings, and tie that settings screen it into an application that I sell. I can intercept a single tap and hence a double tap on a blank area of the screen in a wallpaper, and do already in my app. Could I use this to fire up a regular application to edit the wallpaper settings? Could I pick from two settings screens, depending on whether they had installed my paid app? How would I send the settings back? Could I use intents?
What about the other way? Could I have a desktop app which sent settings info to a Live Wallpaper? What if it isn't running? Can I/ should I try and communicate through the SD file system - although its only a few hundred bytes of data? Finally, as I want to sell a premium version, can my Live Wallpaper check to see if the premium version is installed? Sorry, I have no idea, but my product is doing well and I want to do this properly
