I am just wanting a traditional webcam that I would be able to connect via usb to my comp and use, say, in yahoo chat or skype. Does anyone know if there is something out there like this? I know about qik, but that isn't exactly what I am talking about. Just want to know if there is an app that turns my phone into a run-of-the-mill webcam.

But now I have a S4 4G (I9505) and after some days searching and testing apps, I still didn't found any app that could go higher than 720x480 and all of them get horrible FPS (like less than 15).It can be by wireless or USB, both work for me, I just want it to be at least 720p@30fps...

So i go to were it directed me to when you click on google ^ USB Driver for Windows | Android Developers I download the sdk which i thought i already had on my computer (so watever) I follow all the instructions and some from TheUnlockr.com - Cell Phone How To's, Phone Reviews, and Wireless News! How To: Set Up ADB/USB Drivers for Android Devices | The Unlockr and it wont work.
Is the reason why it wont work because im rooted(using fresh 2.0)?

We have just switched over to the Incredible due to the pdanet app.for unlimited tethering.We have a mac and had no problem viewing the live surfcam in our area with our "old"phone.When we got the Incredible we were able to view the cam the first day but not since then.We are having a really hard time trying to find out why or even who to ask. The pdanet people just tell us it should work.
