Android :: How To Get Webcam App?

I have searched the market for an app that will turn my phone into a webcam and I cannot find anything. I am just wanting a traditional webcam that I would be able to connect via usb to my comp and use, say, in yahoo chat or skype. Does anyone know if there is something out there like this? I know about qik, but that isn't exactly what I am talking about. Just want to know if there is an app that turns my phone into a run-of-the-mill webcam.

I made a thread about this a while ago and it was unsuccessful. I was recommended to use the Qik app, but that doesn't suit me as I wish to use it with MSN and other chat sites. But now I have a S4 4G (I9505) and after some days searching and testing apps, I still didn't found any app that could go higher than 720x480 and all of them get horrible FPS (like less than 15).It can be by wireless or USB, both work for me, I just want it to be at least 720p@30fps...

I've got an acclaim and was wondering if I could plug a webcam into the mini usb and have it work for Skype? I know I could do an app and use the camera on the phone so they could see me (or rather the kids...I became irrelevant to the parents once the grandkids came along), but then the kids couldn't see THEM on the screen since the camera is on the back.

I just downloaded from the market the usb webcam app, and then it says go to placaware.com and download it to your computer and then it says "Make sure that the Phone USB driver is installed correctly. Follow the instructions by Google, or if you are experienced, in the device manager, install a driver for ADB Interface or similar. When prompted for the driver location, browse to the USB Webcam program directory"

So i go to were it directed me to when you click on google ^ USB Driver for Windows | Android Developers I download the sdk which i thought i already had on my computer (so watever) I follow all the instructions and some from TheUnlockr.com - Cell Phone How To's, Phone Reviews, and Wireless News! How To: Set Up ADB/USB Drivers for Android Devices | The Unlockr and it wont work.

Is the reason why it wont work because im rooted(using fresh 2.0)?

We have both the in-laptop webcam and an external webcam to hook up to the laptop. Does anyone tether their Incredible to a Mac? We have just switched over to the Incredible due to the pdanet app.for unlimited tethering.We have a mac and had no problem viewing the live surfcam in our area with our "old"phone.When we got the Incredible we were able to view the cam the first day but not since then.We are having a really hard time trying to find out why or even who to ask. The pdanet people just tell us it should work.
