Jan 24, 2010I'm trying to get a subset of my music from my laptop onto my Eris. Can't use iTunes (obviously). iTunes Agent sets up just fine, but then when I hit the "sync" button, says "no connected devices" or words to that effect. (Even though it saw the Eris just fine when going through setup!) Doubletwist doesn't see all my playlists (and it DOES see playlists that were deleted). I have it syncing a couple of playlists, just to see how it goes. Salling Media Sync seemed like a great idea (it saw all the right playlists) but it crashes every time on the first song. And if I take that song out of the sync, it crashes on the "new" first song.
I've looked at MediaMonkey and TuneWiki and (for various reasons) didn't like them. I'd be fine with DoubleTwist if only it saw the real playlists... (and yes, I've searched the forums, apologies in advance if I missed the answer)
General :: Stream Music Wirelessly From Laptop
Sep 10, 2011Is there a way to stream Music wirelessly from my laptop to my Android(s5570) . Here i am talking about playing music wirelessly within a range of 10 m or so from my PC to my android (through my headphones) . It can be a cheap alternative to buying a bluetooth headphone.
Most importantly i dont want to have an active internet connection for streaming . Although Wireless LAN can be an option .

Jan 12, 2010I've seen threads on remote desktop but I want to be able to stream music from my laptop at home to my droid on the go. However, I want to be able to play all my music through winamp (because of it's preset EQ).
Is there a way I can remote desktop into my laptop through my droid so I can see the actual windows background of my home laptop (I have W7 Ultimate) and stream music to the phone by playing it through winamp?
I want to be able to listen to flac (which is the something droid can't do) which is one of the reasons I want to go through all this.

May 2, 2014I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 and a Galaxy Tab 3. I want all of the music from my phone to automatically sync with my tablet. I download to my phone directly and don't want to transfer everything manually each time I download a new song.
I see that Google Music can do this but it's designed for music that is stored on a laptop/pc. I'd rather not do it this way if possible as the whole reason I bought the tablet was to avoid carrying the laptop around.
note that the music is stored on the SD Card and not the handset. Not sure it will make a big difference but I thought I would point it out.

Mar 27, 2012I have a Droid Incredible. I downloaded an mp3 from Amazon to my computer. From there I emailed it to my Droid. The email arrived and the download did as well. I saved it to my SD card and can open the attachment to play the song but do not know how to get the song into my music area.

I was able to exchange the phone and I've reloaded my apps and gotten my contacts all back in play. Now I've tried to download my music onto my SD card and it's telling me the SD card is unavailable.
