I recently went back from Root after having it for about a day it kept bugging out. I just want to get back this gangstar app that I got from Gameloft since they don't resend your apps. I rooted with unrevoked 1 from the unrevoked.com/m site, from my EVO and Titanium still says it can't gain root access.

I successfully installed the Epic Experience v1.1.10 ROM. Everything seems to have installed properly.
All seems to be well, so I went to install Titanium Backup to restore all of my apps from my stock Epic. The installation went fine. I try to run the app for the first time, and I get the following error: "Sorry, I could not acquire root privileges. This application will *not* work! Please verify that your ROM is rooted and includes BusyBox, and try again".
So I know that my root included BusyBox, because I was able to install and run it on the stock ROM. But just for kicks, I clicked "Problems?" and downloaded the version it says will work. No difference.
I have rebooted the phone several times. Makes no difference.
I have deleted and re-installed Titanium Backup. Makes no difference.
I've got and paided for the full verison of TB. I want to freeze some of my apps and hide them. When I choose this it loads and says its freezing them but it just hangs their everytime, it will do it for like 20 minutes but nothing happens.

If you try to select it and other miscellaneous copy is returned in dyku message "Sorry, the operation failed".
HTC is ROOT, S-Off. I use a ROM called "ViperOne v1.1.1," but on other ROMs is the same problem.
Changing the backup directory in the preferences of the Titanium Backup does not work. I tried the method described here: [URL]... but it also does not give the result and does not change the situation.

What do I need to restore to put my Email account (exchange account) back on my phone via TiBu? Always just re-entered my account info, but wanted to try restoring it the last time I wiped, and could not get it to work. I restored "Accounts" and "Account and Sync Settings 2.2" and all my Gmail accounts are present, but when I launch the Email app or look at Settings>Accounts my Exchange Email account has not been restored. (I also restored Email 2.2 (only option was Data restore). This was going from one CM nightly to another, so I'm restoring data from two ROM s that are virtually the same. Any advice appreciated - I can add the Exchange Email account back manually, but wondered why I can't restore it. What am I missing?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen i click on batch, then run to backup my apps it jumps back to the Backup/Restore screen with all the apps, nothing gets backed up. I have backed up before with Titanium and it worked. I reinstalled Busybox, didn't help. If i uninstall and reinstall will i lose all the things i did like freeze apps etc ? When i try to update through the marketplace it says installation error, package file was not signed correctly.

I'd like to know if there's a way to use Titanium Backup to preform a backup and then transfer those backups to my computer ?
I know this may sound simple but am under the impression that when you make a backup of your ROM and other files on your device, it has to stay on the device.
When making a NANDROID backup, is it safer and more useful if one can store those backups on one's computer ?
Am sure there's a way to do this but am not sure if there's already an app for it.
with the latest versions of Titanium Backup, I can't seem to figure out how to do batch backup and restore of apps and data anymore.

BUT, I have never been able to find the backup file for Titanium Backup. I realize they can just download it from the Market, but where I work I get no service so I can't download it for hours for them.
Does AppControl or even Titanium Backup itself actually back up Titanium Backup? It seems almost like they skip over the APK because I can never find any backed up APK files that have the words "Titanium" or "Backup" in it. I've never been able to find the file!
Rooted DInc then removed some apps like city id. I had purchased some apps before I rooted and I was curious as to first, how and where do I backup using titanium backup? Second, say if I factory reset my phone then put the paid apps back on would it still recognize that I already paid and still give new updates? View 8 Replies View RelatedI finally got around to getting 2.2 (after having to watch my phone in a bootloop all day since i was in meetings all day). i kept root. all of my other root apps work (shoot me, root explorer, autokiller, etc...) except titanium backup. ti backup says it cant verify root. everything is running like a top, except the one app i REALLY wanna get up and running. anyone come across this or have any ideas? i'm sure its something really simple i'm not thinking of.
