HTC EVO 4G :: Pandora Crashing On Wifi / Resolve This?

While I'm at work, I like to listen to Pandora radio. However, with my Evo connected to the wifi network, Pandora will work for a while and then crash. When the crash happens, there's nothing I can do to get Pandora working again without rebooting the phone. I've tried killing the process from inside a terminal emulator and also from the Settings->Applications->Pandora->Force Quit, neither of which has worked. As long as I use 3G, it works fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok so I just rooted my X and have only removed some of the straight forward bloatware... i.e. CityID, Blockbuster...
After doing so, I did a factory reset and now the stock text messaging app won't stay open...
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue.?

Recently i have noticed that pandora wont stream when its off a wifi connection...I have tried wiping cache and dalvik cache and also fixing permissions uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to work????

Does anyone know how/where I can get Pandora from Outside the US? I've been using this app forever on the Black Berry but now I've move to Hong Kong and switched to HTC Desire. I can not get it from the Market Place - search turns up nothing.

I have the HTD Droid incredible. Whenever i plug my phone into my car (which is a lexus is 250 2008) through the auxiliary jack, voice dial comes on and starts going crazy when i start up Pandora. It will start skipping tracks and sometimes calling the last person on my redial list. It also does this with slacker. I tried going to manage apps and turning off voice dial and it still comes back on. I didn't have this issue in my friends car and a verizon tech told me that maybe my car is trying to read my phone when i hook it up through the jack. I want to know if anybody else had this issue and if so what is the solution.

When I got back from lunch, I suddenly noticed several of my apps were showing uninstalled from my home screen. Here are 3 examples:
1) Pandora - Icon turned to the android and would not load
2) Bible - same as pandora
3) Appbrain - same as pandora
When I checked all apps, they were missing. I went into the android market and reinstalled them. The only thing I have done is move some of my apps to the sd card. Did this cause a problem? I did this over the weekend.

Anyone else starting to get streaming ads with Pandora? I know they've been doing this with the iPhone app for a while, but didn't think it had come to Android yet. I've been using the android app for 8+ months with NO ads, then today I get 2 within the first 10 minutes of listening.
I'm not talking about the banner picture ads, I have those blocked with AdFree. It comes on between songs and I had one for McDonalds and one for KFC.

I almost always listen to Pandora while driving, and at times want to know the artist or song playing. To do this, I have to unlock my screen, which is a bit difficult driving on the freeway.So, basically, is there any way to get Pandora to show on the lock screen? I came up with a couple of solutions, but they aren't ideal:
1) Charge my phone in the car, and thus avoid the lock screen all together by having the screen always on.
2) Use No Lock

ok so I do know that due to the amazing OTA from sprint and HTC, that our streaming services such as pandora and slacker pretty much sucks when it comes to listening to it. I have however noticed that when using both slacker and pandora it seems to take quite a bit longer. Usually it loads the whole song in a matter of seconds but now it pretty much streams it live and if you loose sig within a whole second or two it stops. Thus resulting in using more battery. Is this because of the format change or something like that?

I am trying to add my motorola milestone device into PC and debug in the device. When i put the usb cable, the device opens in data storage mode and opens the folder. But when i do a "adb devices" i dont see any device. i did the usb_driver fresh installation guide, but it returned "windows could not find a better driver than currently installed" I havd pointed to sdpath/usb_driver what's wrong and how to resolve this?

I have an application that queries a server (not under my control). The server returns a serialized object. I have the model for the class - however the problem is that the class is in "default package"... something not recognizable by Android ClassLoader. How can I resolve this issue?

For some reason I cant get ADB access with the new Korean 1.6 firmware.
I am using ubuntu 9.10 and I had access before the update.
Did anyone else have this issue and if so how did you resolve it?

I am working on a program that will connect to a time server (time- a.nist.gov), retrieve the timestamp, and place it in a text field.
However, when I create the socket, I get an UnknownHost Exception for time-a.nist.gov
1. put the <uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" /> tag right before the </ manifest> tag. I did this, and the change is still there.
2. use the static InetAddress.getByName() function to convert to an IP address (this still throws the same exception)
When I pass the IP address (129.6.15.28) to the socket constructor, the program works fine. It only breaks when I use the actual domain name.
I have written this program in Java and it works perfectly fine.

I have an application which has 11 different activities. One of these activities is an extension of MapActivity (it is a map for data visualization). To get to this activity the user must first travel through the launch activity, then 3 other activities.
The code to launch the MapActivity is:

When this is executed I get the following output from the Log:

I do have the target set to Google APIs, this is an app meant for Android 1.5, and specifies the minsdk to be level 3 in the manifest file. uses-library for maps is also in manifest file.

I have been at this for almost 2 days now with no results. It seems that there are a lot of people having issues launching a MapActivity from other activities but there are no solutions anywhere.

So recently I switched from an iPhone to the HTC Legend and I love it. But, I have encountered a problem. My 3G and H symbol are not appearing anymore. I haven't had internet service for about 2 days now. When I first received the phone it wasn't working either, but I messed around with the APN and it worked! Now, it has stopped. I have an ATT data plan if that matters, and the Legend is from Bell Canada.
