View 7 Replies View RelatedI am currently Running Fresh 3.2 w/ Manup's rEVOlution's Theme for Sense.
In Flipz log it says users using 3.2 can upgrade to 3.3. with out a data wipe.
I of course am going to do a nandroid backup just in case but I am new to ROM's and Theming will flashing to Fresh 3.3 ROM over the 3.2 ROM Keep all my current Settings and What not? Also will it keep the Theme Intact?
Or will I need to re-install all the apps using Titanium Backup and re-set up all the accounts n crap again then re-install Manup's Theme?
I'm running the latest version of Cyanogen Mod on my evo and LOVEit! However, I have yet to be able to install a theme on my phone. I was under the impression that it was just like flashing a ROM to my phone and that I could even use ROM Manager to do so, but I just can't seem to figure out how to do it. Here's a current screenshot of my main home screen: Basically, all I want to do is to be able to turn the notification bar black. I'd like for all the menus and popups and whatever else to be black as well, but I would settle for just the notification bar.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI want to enable different themes in my app. Some elements need "special" variations, like, for example, a headline TextView. Lets say for the example, in theme A, I want the headline yellow on black, in theme B red on white, while the default TextView uses black on white and vice versa.
Now, I can style the default TextView pretty easy by using <item name="android:textViewStyle"> with a different TextView style in each Theme style.
For example:
CODE:............
But how can I do it with the headline? As far as I know, I can use style="..." in the layout XML. But there, I can only use an item style like "headlineForBlack", which would ignore the current theme, while I'd rather need something like "style 'headline' for the current theme".
Are Themes the same as ROMS? If they are, how so, and if they are not, how so.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just rooted got the cyanogen mod 5.05 and was wondering if I can apply the Nextheme. I want it but it says only in Sprecovery? Can I or not?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have seen the Nextheme and am currently using the Revolution theme. Are there any other out there. Ive seen some for the Droid 1 on other forums just didn't know if they worked for the X or not.

View 1 Replies View RelatedGot my HTC Hero on Orange 2 days ago, also updated it to android 2.1
Now the problem is that I was browsing the android store and saw a theme I wanted. I downloaded it and everything but I don't know how to set it as a theme, just need help with that. Thanks to anyone that replies.
I have a image view and I want to show different images based on the current theme. I want to do this using the XML only. Via code it can be done .....but then that is not a elegant solution. On the same lines, can we add our own attributes to the theme (theme that i created)?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI need some. Google isn't proving too useful, as I just get the same three or four themes over and over again.
Who wants to list some?
Is there any way to mix themes?
I used the 928 black glass theme because it included the deodex, but i didn't like how it looked. I later upgraded to nextheme, then revolution.
However, it seems there are still some remnants of 928 on my droid (e.g. the universal inbox still looks like 928 with the blue reload symbol).
I would like to get rid of that (go back to the stock universal inbox) and I would like to get the colorful icons for the settings list that was in Nextheme but not in Revolution.
I sense that this might be a really stupid question. However, I tried to search the forum and looking into the themes thread which has 50ish pages....
I only found out that home switcher could be the answer but it only works for 2.1 or below.
Now, whenever I wanna switch my themes, I hit home button. It will jump out a screen showing all the themes I've installed such as ADW and launcherpro. I don't dare to set launcherpro as default, otherwise I might not be able to switch back to sense.
Does anyone know how to switch between them? My phone is not rooted.
Can someone please teach me how to install a theme? I've spent hours trying to figure it out but with no luck.
