I am definitely getting this phone and i was just curious if flash player 10.1 will be ready by the time it comes out and if so whether the phone will support it out of the box. I specifically want to use it with my mycast orb server to stream using flash player. I'm wondering if the quality would be better with flash or rtsp streaming.

At first, I believe there was a question that would pop up asking me whether I wanted to use youtube or not, but I must have said don't ask anymore, because I don't get that now (is there a way to get that question back?). Now when I click on a flash file, I get a choice to download or play. I click play, and the screen goes black. There is some sort of spinning 'loading' graphic, then I get a popup that says "Cannot play video Unable to connect to server". This happens on any of the major video sites.

One feature that's bugging me on the Desire, the default application for Youtube videos seems to be the HTC Flash Player, but I don't want to use this. I would prefer it if it opened with the Youtube player so I can get high quality video when viewing Youtube clips on WIFI - the HTC Flash Player has no settings or option for video quality improvement.
On my G1, every time I opened a link for Youtube (from e.g. the browser or Seesmic), it opened up the Youtube application as the default viewer.
How does Helix Server work with android application? In android developers site i found that we can assign the url to MediaPlayer to stream the audio/video. But there is no specification about buffer size.. do i need to do any more coding on server side or in android application to get the streaming work for a specific buffer rate?

Flash Lite installs, but after install I can not connect to the internet (Nothing connects, Skype, market, random app, browser.)

I'm developing an application that makes video stream to an internal network, so I need to broadcast to listeners devices (connected to this network), found an application called VPLAYER receiving video stream, but it performs HTTP, which makes the broadcast. So, I wonder if there is any player that receives video stream and run under the UDP or whether it is possible to develop an application that receives the video stream and pass to the player's native android.

I have TV shows, home movies, and ripped movies that I want to be able to view when not at home. Free would be nice, but easy would be best. I was browsing the android market and I found that Flash Player 10.1 was one of the apps for download on there. I was wondering if this was different from version of flash that came with the 2.2 froyo update. Is this download necessary or not needed cause its the same as the flash update with froyo?

I got my phone a few weeks ago and the flash player worked then. But now if I choose it, it just for a to a blank a screen. For the same video, if I choose YouTube it plays fine.

After I stop the music and and put the stereo into another mode it works fine. If I later get a call it acts normally, but after I end the call it starts to stream music again! Any ideas on what the problem might be? My stereo worked fine with my behold I and nokia 5310.

I now have WiFi hotspot, flashtorch, 720p camcorder and applications sharing available in my apps list. The problem stems when I go to view just in TV or BBC iplayer and I am told that my device does not support flashplayer. I have checked and adobe flashplayer is there when I go to manage applications. When I click on it takes me into it but all options to click on are shaded and I cant do nothing about it.
