View 7 Replies View RelatedI have searched and haven't been able to find any threads with one of my issues, so I apologize in advance if I missed one. Anyways, my DX has been working flawlessly since I got it back on 10/6. Sunday, 10/31, my DX quit syncing just my corporate Exchange 2003 emails, then yesterday it started not sending emails as well and now, this morning, it quit syncing my personal email. Corporate email will sync manually, just not push. I have rebooted several times, pulled the battery several times, and also deleted both my Exchange account and my personal account and re-added both and the problem still persists. I don't have any task killer apps installed and haven't recently added any apps since the issues started. Anyone have an idea what may be causing the lack of push (in and out) on both of my accounts?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have had my Droid Eris for awhile now. I have been on here reading some of these posts and just realized how much I do not know about my phone! I am totally in the dark on some of the things that are discussed on here. I was just trying to find out why I could not send videos from my phone. Is there a place I can start at the beginning? Like when I bought my phone?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI cant seem to find an option on my droid for sending a video clip with Handscent mms. when I browse though my gallery and select a clip, I dont have an option to send using Handscent. I have tried the setting under the video camera mode to use 30 second clips for sending mms and i have tried using the lower quality setting as well. I do see the option for sending using the stock messaging app, but I was wondering if I could use Handscent to send these videos..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI take quite a few videos of my kiddos playing tball, soccer, etc and like to send them to my parents & inlaws but they always look like crap when they get them bc the phone downgrades the quality of the video before sending it (Note 2). Is there anyway to send a high quality video either by mms or an app? I've tried sending via email (gmail), but they cap attachment file size pretty low.

I need to send the email, I have tryed in emulator, i have checked my mail but i didnt got any mail,. how to do that?
I have mention below the my code for your reference.
package com.test.android;
CODE:.........................
I would like to send an SMS from the device to an email. I use this code for it:
SmsManager sm = SmsManager.getDefault(); sm.sendTextMessage(bodyText, null, "test123", null, null);
When the "bodyText" variable is set to "1234567890", then it works. When the "bodyText" variable is set to any character, even "n", it tells me a java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException.
Is there any way to trick it so that it will let me send to an email?
I have found this K9 source code, but I'm looking for the actual piece of code that actually sends the email. http://k9mail.googlecode.com/svn/k9mail/trunk/
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a domain hosted with 1 and 1 and an email address at that custom domain. Currently, I have those emails automatically forwarded to my gmail address, so I get the messages in my GMail inbox already. However, I would like to be able to send emails from this address (instead of my GMail address). Is there a way to setup the built in email app to ONLY send emails, and not receive any? On my desktop computer, I just put in a fake POP3 server address to get this behavior. On the Droid, as far as I can tell, the setup wizard won't let you continue unless the incoming sever is valid.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI receive emails, and my contacts synch both ways. But after a write an email and click "send" it doesn't go anywhere. the word "sending" appears next to the email, but it's still there after two days. No error message. This happens in both the Gmail and Email apps (I'm a Gmail user).
The outgoing mail settings look fine in the email app. I can't find them in Gmail, but they are pretty simple, and it seems unlikely that Google would mess them up.
Having a problem with email (not GMail). I can receive email no problem but cannot send any. I started by inputting all my talktalk client info, mail.talktalk.net and smtp.talktalk.net etc., but will not send messages. Looked on forum for advice but cant seem to find exactly whats wrong. Tried K9 too but also has the same problem as the standard mail programme.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using this code to send a mail.
final Intent mail_Intent=new Intent(Intent.ACTION_SEND);
mail_Intent.setType("plain/text");
mail_Intent.putExtra(Intent.EXTRA_EMAIL,new String[]{toText.getText().toString()}); mail_Intent.putExtra(Intent.EXTRA_SUBJECT,subjectText.getText().toString()); mail_Intent.putExtra(Intent.EXTRA_TEXT,bodyText.getText().toString());
Intent i=Intent.createChooser(mail_Intent, "Send Mail");
startActivity(i);
But on the following screen i get the default android API.I do not want that screen to popup. Is there any other way where i can silently send the mail.
I tried to send 15 pictures I sent through gmail. They never went through. It seems it's too large to send. I then just sent 1 picture through gmail. It still said it was trying to send it over 30 minutes after I sent it so I discarded it. Now I sent the same pics through text and they went through just fine. But how can you send pics through gmail? I tried to send it directly from my phone and it didn't work? I saved them to my computer and sent them that way and it finally did work but it took forever to add them to my email because the pics are so large? I don't want to keep trying to send them by downloading them to my computer to send through gmail. How can I send them through my phone? Are the pics just too large to send?
