Hopefully someone can help out. I shot a few movies with my eris and want to put them on my pc. When i connect the phone to my pc and open up the SD card folder i can't find the videos anywhere. I'm assuming there on the phones device memory but is there an easy way to transfer the video over to the sd card? I was messing around with the phone and couldn't figure out how to do that.

I got a bigger sd card and I'm wanting to swap all my pics and movies from my old one to the new one. is there a way to do this on my phone or do i have to do it on the computer? when i stick the sd card and adapter in my pc it doesn't recognize theres anything in there.

I downloaded doubletwist but it seems like all the digital copies cannot be copied. is there really no easy way to do this unless i have an ipod or iphone. Seems kinda dumb to me

I've a problem I'm hoping someone can help with (if you can help please provide an idiots guide as I've trawled the net it's all way over my head with root this and that). In relation to my work I have the need to send and receive video files via bluetooth to my workmates handsets. Never had an issue in the past with Nokia "talking" to Blackberry etc (except I-phone which is a toy as far as I'm concerned) but my X10 will not receive. I keep receiving the same message on the handset "Sorry, the application settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. please try again".

I would like to download some movies for my phone, but want to make sure that I am downloading from a reputable site. Can anyone recommend a good site for this? Also, I see some of them offer to download in ipod or DivX (not sure what DivX even is) formats. Should I choose one of these formats or just choose DVD format and convert it? Is there specific settings I should choose for the Eris? I really am new to this, so dumb it down for me ok?

I saw someone else had a problem with iTunes movies before and it sounded like he bought those movies off iTunes. Well, I thought when I got my new phone I would be able to redownload all the apps I had purchased but I cant. The Market wants me to pay for them all again. I guess the market tracks you specifially with your phone, not your account. So I called Verizon, of course they were no help. The chick didn't even try to help, I asked her if I could get those apps back and she stalled for a second like she really didnt know but also didnt want to take the time to find out, then she said NOPE. I was like man, that sucks, she said YEP! That was the end of the conversation. Surely there is a way for me to get these apps back without paying for them again? I know they are inexpensive but when you have 10 or so they start to add up! Not to mention I had my first phone for less than a month and hardly got to enjoy the apps I purchased. I've thought about emailing the dev's but dont know if thats a good approach or not.

What's the point of being able to record videos with a phone if you can't upload them to the web? I have shot some really cool videos that I want to share with friends via YouTube, Facebook or e-mail and I always get the message that says you cannot upload files larger than 1GB or that I must resize them first or whatever.I see really long videos on youtube, why can't I upload a 1 or 2 minute video?Makes no sense whatsoever.Any ideas?

Anyone know of another converter i could use that would put it out in a little higher quality and possibly with the option to remove widescreen?
