HTC Desire :: Install Rooted Android 2.2 - Stuck On O2 Boot Screen?

I've rooted my Desire on o2 have version 0.80 of the boot loader. I applied the defrost rom version 2.7 following this guide. Droid Den - Phone Guide: How To Install Rooted Android 2.2 On Your HTC Desire - Droid Den. It went through applying the ROM but now I just have it stuck on the o2 splash screen and going no further. Can't seem to find a backup.zip anywhere on my ROM and thought to back out the change. What's the best way to go? Re-flash again?

I rooted it last week with the unrevoked 3 method which seemed to go ok then i tried some different roms and some worked some didnt. I tried to install the r8-bravo-desire-modacocustomrom-withadditions-a2sd+-signed...! This rom got stuck on the white start up screen. I thought that if i cleared the sd card it would install but still the same thing then i just got the white htc screen wich i cant get off and i cant load the recovery to change anything...! Have i bricked my phone?

HTC Desire :: Stuck At Boot Screen After APPS2SD Installation

So I rooted my desire using the r6 guide from MoDaCo. Worked well, no problems. Recovered my personal data and apps, set my alarm went to sleep. Alarm goes off, get out of bed and all still fine. Then, I decided to apply apps2SD picking up at the end of Lekky's guide. Followed it word for word but once complete, it wont boot past the HTC boot screen (the white screen with logo).

I am going to try and reapply the rooted ROM (if I can get my blackberry to turn on to write to the goldcard). But, does anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong? I really want apps2SD, but this could all go pear-shaped again. Are there any other tried and tested methods to get apps2sd on a stock superuser ROM?

General :: Rooted Samsung S3 Stuck In Boot Animation Through Rom Toolbox Pro

I rooted my samsung for the first time Friday (worked out great). I just installed Rom Toolbox Pro & was looking through the features (I should of backed up first thing!) & decided to install a custom boot animation (big mistake!). The boot animation worked fine but even though the phone boots up & actually works, the screen is stuck in the boot animation state & will not bring up the home screen.

I've tried everything (actually learned quite a bit) using CWM to install boot animation disable zips, clear all kinds of caches, & even clear data & factory reset (lost everything). Even used odin3 to install Jelly Bean (originally ice cream sandwich 4.0.4.) & still this f$%^ing boot animation will not clear off the screen.

The phone still works to where I can answer & if I flip it on the side I can use the voice app with the home key to see half the screen (scrolling is a pain) but if I click to the home screen the dam boot animation takes over the whole screen again.

The firmware updates & zip files don't work. Is there a full android system out there to restore it or some way easy to get my home screen back. I really don't want to turn it to a brick if possible.

i installed jellyblast on my galaxy ace gt-s5830i, used it for couple of days and then restored cwm backup to stock rom. after about a week the phoen booted itself and got into bootloop. when i tried to wipe data got this mesaage : E:format_volume: rfs format failed on /dev/stl11.

* i tried installing cwm backup
* i tried installing stock rom from samfirmware using odin with/without pit.
* i tried multiformatter for changing ext4 to rfs and then again tried unstalling stock rom and also custom roms.
* i tried wipe firmware package.

* phone enters in bootloop when i flash stock rom using odin and get stuck on boot when i install custom rom through cwm.

KitKat 4.4 :: Stuck At Boot Logo After Failed ROM Install

I should have just left it as it was out of the box..So after attempting to install a custom rom (4.4.2 Play edition)my s4 is stuck at the Samsung I9505 boot screen. I wiped the 'Dalvik cache' 'System' and 'cache' partitions in TWRP as I was following along with a Youtube video (that didn't work). When I tried to flash the custom ROM it automatically said failed. After giving up and turning on the phone I found that I'm stuck at this screen.

Have I bricked the phone? $550 could have gone down the drain just like that. I don't want to touch it without any advice and make everything worse. My only hope now is that I've managed to wipe the original software and it has nothing to boot from.

Why did the ROM install fail in the first place? I had it copied on the SD card. It was zip file.I can still access TWRP just fine and my SD shows up with the custom ROM still there, it's just whenever I hit install it fails in under a second.

General :: Galaxy Ace 3 Stuck In Boot Loop After 3D Chainfire Install

I'm not sure if this is considered a boot loop but when turned on, after the logo it turns into a blank screen.

Anyway, I was stupid enough to install 3D chainfire when it's not compatible (I neglected the description since it worked on my previous galaxy ace) ...

I've tried going to recovery mode to:
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition (but shows error)

Not sure what else can I do anymore. Since Ace 3 is fairly new, it's quite hard to find a solution with google.. Also, I have zero knowledge about flashing ROM or of the sort..

Extra info:
- My phone is Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 GT - S7275R
- Rooted with a Chinese universal rooting program
- When entering recovery mode, it shows "no command" for a few seconds before entering the menu.

Motorola Droid X :: Phone Stuck In Boot Loop When Install Taskbar

I was on 2.2 rooted on my droid x. Attempted to install a replacement for the taskbar. The phone is stuck in a boot loop now. I've read about 5,000 different pages saying just use RSD. It all starts by saying; plug the phone in, let the computer detect it, install the drivers.. This is where I'm stuck. The only thing I have access to is the recovery console and the big endless loop. So at no point the phone turns on to the point where the PC will detect it as a device.

My device is rooted, i was installing an app that tweaks performance which needed drivers to be downloaded / installed. As soon as i clicked that driver download / install button the device immediatly shut down. Now i'm stuck on its boot logo (Its a Chinese tablet powered by a RK3066 Chip / android 4.1.1) I tried (Holding power + volume down) = Dead android logo with red exc. mark on top / (Holding power + volume up) = Nothing / (Holding power + both volume up and down) = Dead android logo with red exc. mark on top / (Leaving dead android logo for a couple of minutes) = resets and logo is still stuck.

I have no custom anything . I did not do anything with the root except download apps.

I also do not have linux.

When the tablet is plugged into the PC when the dead android is displaying , it detects, but that is it, i cannot browse it what so ever.

All recovery methods in the tablet are (dead android logo)

OK, one day I was able to open a Genymotion device, but later that day I wasn't. Reason?

When I opened a terminal (using CrunchBang Waldorf) and ran Genymotion, it would work fine, but then when I booted a Samsung Galaxy S4 4.3 , it would bring up the device fine, but it would get stuck on that "Android" screen, with the light going across.

I waited for a few hours, only to come back to the same message. I would open up the .Genymobile/genymotion-player.log using cat in terminal. The results?

[Genymotion Player] [Debug] Output command: "0%...10%...20%...30%...40%...50%...60%...70%...80 %...90%...100%"

So I tried running it through VirtualBox, giving me "untracked pid exited ____" with a number 100+ in the ____.

Other devices work fine, including SGS4 4.2.2, but SGS4 4.3 doesn't work.

I just flashed Myns Two point Two. I used to Amon RA to wipe the things I needed to wipe and then installed the rom. Little to say that when I booted, it got stuck on the boot screen.I've done a hard reset, booted to the loader, and wipe the data but to no avail.

I'm kind of new to Rooting and ROMs but I keep getting the same problem while installing ROMs using ROM Manager. I flash and then I install the ROM and everything goes well until the boot up screen. It gets stuck in a loop of the Droid and Droid Eye animation (For over 10 minutes) and I have to restore it. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? I am using the Droid with Froyo, rooted using Easy Root.

I believe it's called boot looping? It originally happened after I rooted my phone (original 1.5 software) following these directions: How To: Root the Samsung Behold 2 | The Unlockr. After that, I deleted DinerDash2, Midnight Bowling, Where's Waldo, IM, Talk, Amazon MP3, MyFaves, Telenav, HotSpot, Audio Postcard, Postcard.apk. When I tried to reboot my phone, I was stuck on the Samsung screen. I finally got the screen to go away, but a message repeatedly popped up saying the TwLauncher closed unexpectedly. Then I tried using ODIN and installing BH_Man's factory v1.6

I used the adb commands to delete the bloatware again. Restarted the phone and got the same problem. (Except I was stuck on the android screen.) I tried to install the factory v1.6 again, then immediately did a factory restore and then rebooted my screen once it loaded. Everything seemed okay. I uninstalled the stock games and rebooted again. It seemed to be working. When I uninstalled more apps (including CubeLauncher) and restarted the phone. What do I do? Did I uninstall something I am not supposed to? I think I might try installing the 1.6 No Twiz Kernel. I am sick of these "TwLauncher closed unexpectedly" messages.

Been creating a theme last few days. I installed it on my phone, but before doing so i was a good boy and did a nandroid backup. Then i didnt like osme of the things i changed so i restored my backup i just did now its stuck after restoring on the white htc evo screen. NOT GOOD!! I even pulled the battery and SD Card...twice.

HTC Incredible :: Won't Boot - Stuck At White Screen

Got the WSOD on a non-rooted, stock 2.2 incredible last night. Pulling the battery is the only way to turn it off. Recovery and Factory Reset from hboot manager hang at the htc white screen. Clear Storage also goes straight to the white screen. If turned off it'll charge. SD card is not corrupted. Phone was in close proximity to an iphone 3g for maybe an hour. (We'd been comparing the screens then the iphone was placed on top of the incredible while we ate dinner.) Noticed that phone was at the white screen. Battery was not warm. No signs of external damage. Either this is totally random, or the RF from the iphone managed to fry something.

My Galaxy gio is rooted and is with a clockworkmod recovery. Yesterday, I tried to flash a custom kernel. After flashing successfully (through cwm recovery), i reboot my phone and then it stuck at boot screen.I did many searches but cannot understand any.I can go into recovery and download mode which is i think so required by odin.I wonder if I can flash any stock rom again easily. I restarted my phone because it was freezing and it turned on on the boot screen where it gives me options to Recover, Reboot, etc. The volume button broke a long time ago. It sometimes works to move the option but pushing the power button doesn't do anything. Is there anything I can do to restart my phone avoiding this screen? It goes there every time. Could one of the volume buttons be stuck?

Ok I had the Virtuous v 2.6 with clockwork recover and S-off. I was using the phone today and it just froze so I rebooted and it stayed on the splash screen so I rebooted to hboot and then went to recovery which wont open it just goes to splash screen. So I did the downgrade back to 1.00 radio and .77 HBOOT to try and start over and it still gets stuck on the flash screen. Please someone what do I do?

So I'm relatively new to rooting. I'm running BB .4, and that went okay. I'm trying to install a theme using ROM Manager. I backup and wipe and it loads into recovery and all that. That runs okay. Then, when it's rebooting, it gets stuck on the DROID screen. Well,actually, it does it once, goes to the Droid eye, and then just repeats the DROID screen over and over. A battery pull allows me to get back into recovery, which lets me restore my back up and then it boots just fine, but I'd really like to make my phone purple. Any ideas?

I rooted my phone and have been using the 3G hotspot and some overclocking apps. Today I decided to load a custom rom. I did some research and bought Rom Manager and Bootstrap. I did the bootstrap and than rebooted to recovery. Than I installed rubix from the sd Card. I found someone else with the problem here and people told them to pull the battery and get into recovery. When I do that I get a droid with an exclamation mark screen. I cant seem to get into recovery or do anything and I am stuck at the rubix boot screen. It seems my problem is because I did not wipe my date or clear cache when installing... but I can't get into recovery to re-do it!

I just rooted my droid to froyo (sapphire) and everything seemed to be going smooth until i rebooted the phone from recovery. The motorola M screen came up and then the sapphire came up. After about ten seconds it goes away and reappears and has been doing this for the past 35 minutes. Is this normal? Any clue on what i need to do to fix this?

Tried to flash the latest fresh 1.47 ROM. It went through the flash procedure, I rebooted and now stuck on a screen that continuously says "fresh". What did I do wrong?
