I have had my HTC Desire for a week or so now and have downloaded a few pdf files by accident (fingers too big) I have looked what seems to be everywhere but can't find how to delete them, can anyone help me?

How do you delete PDF Viewer downloads?I went to settings>>apps>>manage apps>>pdf viewer>>clear data Still didnt clear the downloads.

I selected Downloads from the app drawer, looked at them then tried to delete them. I can't find any option to delete. When I select help I get Quickoffice help telling me to press the Trash can Icon. There is no trash can Icon on the screen.

Is possible to install these application on Vodafone Magic or at least the PDF Viewer?
Recently my phone only shows my pictures in low resolution until I zoom in a tiny bit, then suddenly it sharpens into the full quality image. Is it suddenly displaying low res thumbnails for my images until I try looking at them? It never did this before, and it's not a 2.2 change as it started doing it a day or two before I updated it.
View 9 Replies View RelatedSeem to have a problem when trying to open certain pdf files. The files can be opened without any issue on a PC but get the 'unsupported security handler' error when trying to open on the desire (froyo updated).
Not actually tried these files prior to the froyo update so unsure whether this is a bug?
Downloaded Adobe Reader as an alternative viewer, this time it opens but the pages are blank... Think it's something about the pdfs as they were written in Acrobat Distiller 7.0.5 for mac...

Got my desire today I bought the ultimatejuice for the juice defender app and it installed on the phone , now if i have to wipe the phone can i save ultimatejuice app i paid for so i can install it again.

All was going smoothly until recently when my Market downloads suddenly started hanging, both free and purchased ones. I have internet connection - no problem there. The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I recently converted from googlemail to gmail. Could that have any effect? Anyone have a suggestion as to how I might fix this short of a total reset of my phone to factory settings?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a brand-new HTC Desire in front of me, and cannot get a couple of functions to work properly (yet), as for instance the facebook and mail widgets. I figured out that it would be a good start to get the newest versions of all those applications and widgets that make trouble, but when I try downloading anything using Android Market, the downloads get stuck at "Starting download...", apparently indefinitely. I have seen that others had this problem too, but I could not find a solution yet.

They are showing in the 'currently downloading' frame but don't appear to be doing anything. I am using wifi to download the apps and I have never had an issue before. Could anyone help?
View 15 Replies View RelatedDo a lot of downloading of mixes etc on my phone and find that a lot of the time if I leave it the download fails. If I sit there and touch the screen now and again to stop it switching off then it works every time. Its over wifi btw.
Is anyone else having this issue and also does anyone else know how to sort this?
just updated to 2.2, since then its not letting me download anything from market place. I have plenty space on internal memory, also the browser crashed as soon as I load any BBC websites. I have an untouched phone - not rooted etc.

i have downloaded quite a few apps to play with and get a feel for what each does etc, but not ive had issues where i need to free up space.
i have found that my apps go to the phone by default and not sd card.
just wondered where i change this, if its possible, and how i can move any that have already been saved to the phone?
I have some messages but cannot delete them. There is no option. In "select action" all I can do is reply to any e-mail in the message or call.

It's even in a different language, it doesn't come up in the list for uninstalling or managing applications and when I use astro to track it down to the system>apps and try to delete it that way it says error.

is there any way of managing/deleting files (eg PDFs that you download) on the SD card from the phone itself ? ie can you do it without connecting to a PC and mounting as disk drive ?Also - just bought a 16gb SD card and it seems like the speed of access/saving photos and transferring music from PC is much slower than with the 4GB card that came with the phone. Is that normal or have i got a dud/fake SD Card ? ( i know - I bought if from ebay - but it was a proper 30,000+ feedback seller of memory cards..)

When I try to open in it does nothing, when I try and delete it it force closes the email program (I use the stock email program)I went to my email account on my PC and the email isn't even on the server!
Also my other account (also hotmail) has wiped out my entire inbox! luckily it's my old email account and I don't think I had anything important in it.I set my settings as follows a month or so ago.and havn't had any issues untill now.
I have imported my calendar from my pc but cannot delete a single event if it has a recurrence. I can only delete all or 'this and all future'.

due to short storage and the large amount of email I receive I decided to install K9 because it stores mail to the sd card. So I deleted account on the stock Htc mail but the data is still there the all 55 meg of it and I cannot find a way to delete it. I ewent in setting and it does show 55mb but no button to erase data a complete reset is not an option I have copilot installed and i doubt it will reinstall with the google checkout number a second time. so My question is , How do I force the email data to erase.?

Also, when in PDF viewer, I noticed a couple of other files such as the quick start guide. I can only assume that they come as standard on the card? And not that Carphone Warehouse gave me an already used phone/SD card?

I have tried managing this on HTC Sense, but like everyone else most of the features are not working for me. I do not however have any idea how to delete the contats off my sim or just change settings to make sure my sim contacts are not displayed in my contact list.
