HTC Incredible :: Automatically Sync Calendars Between Phone And My IMac?
Nov 10, 2010I've got an iMac, which has its own apple calendar. I can also obviously use Google calendar. My Droid Incredible has a calendar app. I think it is the Google calendar.
Is there any reasonable and easy way to automatically sync calendars between my Incredible and my iMac?

Nov 19, 2009I have 3 calendars under my gmail account, but they're all owned by the same account.
I only had one when I initially set up the phone and I added 2 yesterday.
The 2 new ones will not show up in the phone.
Has anyone run into this? I did a google search, but not much for results out there which I find strange.
also, I subscribed to a read only one (canadian holidays) and it was on the phone right away.
So it seems that only ones that I create I cannot get to the phone.

Feb 18, 2014At work I have more than just the email calendar. I have a design calendar for allowing my sales reps and project managers to post events to. I also have my main email account calendar. I am the owner of both calendars but the only one that syncs with the stock calendar app is my email account calendar from outlook. This was very easy to do with my windows phone. I just ticked the calendars I wanted to sync to my phone. Was just like my outlook program at work. Showed my owned calendars and let me decide which ones I wanted to populate to my calendar app. I cannot find a way to do this on android. The only calendar it gives me is the main email calendar. I do not want to allow everyone in my work to see my email calendar just so it will show up on my phone easier. All the people can see the design calendar and edit it. This allows them to schedule projects and can see available bandwidth for my department.
Is the rift between google and MSFT too much that neither of them allows the other to do things, or is this just samsung not empowering their app to see other owned exchange calendars?

Oct 19, 2011I managed to configure my hotmail and google calendars to sync via the built-in email app on my Transformer... no problem; but there appears to be a limit in place in Exchange that prevents the sub-calendars from syncing. (I've seen indications that using Outlook as a middleman might work.)

Nov 28, 2010Syncing with google calendar. I have a Macbook with iCal configured to match my Google calendar account. The two sync together with no problem. I tried setting up my HTC Desire to sync with my Google account which should give me three way sync but I get the following problem:
I open Calendar on my phone, I try to add an event, a message appears saying: YOU HAVE NO CALENDARS. Ont the settings side, if I hit MENU then MORE and I choose CALENDARS I can't see my Google account. If I hit SETTINGS there is nothing to add my Google account. If I go to the ACCOUNTS & SYNC settings, I see my Google account, but when I hit my account, the data synchronization theme only shows SYNC CONTACTS and SYNC GMAIL, there is no SYNC GOOLGLE CALENDAR (is this normal).
I had Syncmate installed on my macbook and had it configured on my Desire, but it didn't sync the calendar either so I deleted it from my accounts. Could this be causing my problem or does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Dec 8, 2013I would like to be able to synchronize Contacts, Tasks, Calendars, and Texts between my PC and my Andoid phone. I would like to do this without using Google, since Google stores the stuff on their servers.
At the moment, my email resides on a server we own in a NOC.
I use Thunderbird with Lightning on my PC which gives me email, tasks, calendar, and contacts in one interface.
I then use MyPhoneExplorer to Sync with my Android. This gives me tasks, calendar, and contacts synchronized, but all in separate interfaces and then I've got K-9 for email which is again separate.
What I'd like is an email client that included tasks, calendar, and integrated properly with contacts on both my PC and my Android.
I'm willing to use pretty much any software on the PC and on the Android, but I've found nothing that does this cleanly.
My tasks are email centric, meaning that I create tasks out of emails because that's how I get work requests.
I'm willing to use any combination of apps on my PC and on my Android, but the ideal solution would be one applications for all of it which integrated nicely with the Android phone contact list.
HTC EVO 4G :: Not All Google Calendars Shown On Phone
Aug 19, 2010I added my school's football and basketball schedules (FIU) as well as my actual favorite college team football schedule (FSU) to my google calendar. They show up fine on google calendar but they wont show up on my evo. Is there a limit on how many calendars the evo or android as a whole can display?
As it stands I have 7. US hollidays, UK Hollidays, Special events, FIU football schedule, FIU basketball schedule, FSU football Schedule and the default google calendar. How can I get them all to show up on my evo? When you use google calendar it allows you to "browse interesting calendars", some of which are sports schedules. I add the teams I want and they show up on my google fine but not my evo.

May 14, 2010I'm new to Android, having moved from Nokia this last week. I've added my email accounts - Gmail & Exchange, but now I've got 3 calendars. I know they all display on my mobile, and I get alerts for them all, but I'd ideally like my phone to sync all the calendars with eachother. So when I look on Outlook, I see my phone and Google calendar, and when I look on Gmail, I see my Outlook and Phone calendars etc. This would seem to be a fairly simple thing to do - just to 'link' the calendars in a similar way to linking the phone/Google/Facebook contacts. Any way to do this without involving any PC apps etc.?

Mar 3, 2010I've created multiple sub calendars within my standard gmail calendar account to managed my kids calendars. Doesn't look as though these calendars will come over to my Eris running 1.6. Is that correct? Any work around or am I missing something?

May 16, 2014I come to Android from PalmOS via webOS. I find Jorte and CalendarPad to be almost acceptable except for one function I can no longer live without... I want to be able to quickly/easily view or unview our various calendars. Both of these programs require going through settings menus. If you have ever seen webOS, it is done on the top of the calendar.

I have proxy access into my boss' Exchange account, and need to be able to carry his calendar with me. Do NOT want the two Exchange calendars to be merged.
I know that I can keep my Gmail account separate from the corporate account, so that part's great. The complication is being able to sync the two separate Exchange calendars, and the fact that I have proxy access granted to my boss' account rather than the actual login.
In the past, the unwieldy solution was to have to manually duplicate every calendar entry from my boss' Exchange calendar in my own Exchange calendar. I'm hoping there's a way around having to do this... also, when my boss adds/deletes on his calendar I want to be able to have that info update for me, which obviously doesn't happen with my manual workaround.

It is not visually useful to sync in one calendar (use 7 personal calendars - 6 family members plus group family calendar).
