I need a way to sign zip packages so they can be flashed in CWM with signature verification enabled...
I tried with jarsigner but I can't understand why CWM doesn't flash (signature verification failed)...

I have a paid application, that I recently published.
For one reason or another, I didn't make a backup copy of the key signature.
After fixing some bugs, I tried to sign the application again as an update, through Eclipse's export as a signed app wizard.
On the screen where the alias is usually selected, i get a message saying "Invalid Keystore Format."
My real issue is how to handle publishing the update as a new, separate application, with regard to the users who have already purchased the application.
Would I issue refunds for the original purchase for users that purchase the new, separate application?
Possible to unzip a flashable zip, mod a few files and then rezip it and flash it? SAMSUNG-SGH-I717

if i understand correctly the phone looks at the android-info.txt for version main and on that info it flashes the phone. Correct me if i'm wrong, now we can open those zip files but we can't add or change files in it. I know those files are signed. but there must be a way to mod those files and put them back on the phones. i tried a lot of zip,rar etc utils to modify but all say mode not implemented.
I'm looking to install a rom via CWM without using adb. What is the adb commands to do this? I've found a thread about how to do this for Amon_RA's recovery but nothing for CWM.

I also have jdk 1.6 update 32 installed on my windows 7 x64 bit.
I have created a private key signature manually using the -keytool -v -keystore command and also have created a private key signature using signare.exe app
I am able to sucessfully decompile and recompile apk files (non system apk - example an adw theme) . Now when i am signing the .apk file, the following takes place.
-when i sign it with a test key uaing apk manager, i am able to put it in my sd card and install it and it works fine.
- now when i sign it with a private key signature ( any of the two that i have created), it gets signed successfully but when i put it in my sd card and install it , i get an error message "Application Not Installed".
I really need to know how to ressolve this issue so that i can sign it with a private key .
Is their is a way so i can sign a flashable .zip file so i can flash it on stock non rooted samsung device ? When I try any flashable zip i get " E: signature verification failed".

So I was wondering about the proper order of installing zips.. For right now I have . . SBF, One click root, Blackglassdeodexer, Blackglassback to stock, Rubix1.86 i think. .. . View 7 Replies View RelatedI switched to blueberry kangerade today, and downloaded the goodies folder that contains a bunch of boot animations and live wallpapers, but the app that runs the kangerade scripts to change the animations and the live wallpapers keeps saying that the zips are not found. i've tried changing the location of the zips to the directory where the app expects to find them and still no luck. is there another way to get the wallpapers and boot animations to work?

Or is there any hardware restriction as such?
My HTC Salsa currently has the following specs - Android 2.3.3, HTC Sence 2.1
So if a new ROM comes out and has got Sense 3.5, ICS Update, Beats Audio etc etc.. will I be able to install it on my device or will there be any hardware problems?
