Okay so I rooted a few months ago, and installed a baked FroYo ROM from MoDaCo. However I want to update it to a later version. My question is this:
Since I've already rooted, and can use Hboot, can I simply copy the new zipped ROM to my SD Card, and install it through Hboot, or do I have to do through the whole rooting path again?
How can i get the latest version of google apks ? .Is their any git repository for this apk's .I am not able to find these apk's in the android.git & QCT git.

This works when I am not answering the phone and I the caller gets connected to my GV account. But when my phone is not in coverage the caller gets my version voice mail. Appreciate if someone can correct my settings or suggest any app that does it. I am from Windows mobile world and missing those settings when you can define several settings for voice mail (unanswered, rejected, unavailable etc...)

First, when I am sending a SMS message using the landscape on-screen keyboard I get a force kill.
Also, it seems that some of my outgoing messages are sent twice.

Now that I have google voice, does this change anything? I have the droid and just downloaded the google voice app. I have seen that people are saying that sms messages don't get pushed, but it looks like they are through the google voice app? Am I missing something? Can I now cancel my sms service through verizon so I am not paying ANY sms fees? Reviewed the log file and there are some unhandled exceptions in Google Voice code. Any one else with this problem? Is there a way to reinstall an older version of Google Voice app?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI've experienced two problems with Google Voice that are causing me to get charged minutes I wouldn't usually get charged. If I can't solve them, I'll have to go back to using my Verizon number. First, let me say that I'm using a new Google Voice number that isn't Verizon cell phone number or any other preexisting number. Second, my girlfriend is on my family plan, but she doesn't have GV yet. We're using the 700-minute plan, so we don't have a friends circle.
Problem 1: When I call my girlfriend's Verizon wireless phone using the GV on my Verizon phone, I get charged, and when she calls my GV number on my Verizon Wireless phone from her Verizon wireless phone, she gets charged. We don't cash in on our free in-network calling. I know, this should have been obvious, but it just never occurred to me until after I looked at the bill. I'd be able to work with that, though, and just select "Call without using Google Voice" or whatever when calling her if it weren't for the second problem. When people call my Google Voice number, I get charged when I don't answer. Usually, it's just a one-minute charge, but sometimes it's two or three minutes (don't know why). With anything less than an unlimited plan, minutes count. Not good.
Any chance someone could pass me along the latest spotify APK? I'm in Canada and cannot access the latest APK on the play store. The manual download method from m.spotify.com leaves me with version 5.12.52 of the app installed on my phone.
