Now that im on ICS and have the one thing i really wanted, zooming photos received without having to save them to sd card (then browse in gallery), im wondering for the next option that should be included in MMS.
There should be an option, (default or hacked in by a dev) to save the mms images received, to sd card, external or internal, AUTOMATICLY rather than having to save them thru options.

I have a Motorola Moto G 8GB which is running very low on storage (only about 800mb left). This phone does not take Micro SD cards but it comes with 50GB Google Drive storage. However i haven't used this at all. I am wondering whether i could download android apps and games to google drive, dropbox etc. Games like Real Racing take up about 1GB so i cannot download it to my phone. Can i download it to the Cloud? If this is not possible, is there any way that i could save the app data on the cloud. E.g. The Simpsons: Tapped Out is about 37mb to download off the play store, but then you must download the updates etc which are about another 250mb. is there anyway to save this 250mb on the cloud. Or any other games data.

Can't turn on auto-backup for photos on my S4. Every time I try within the G+ app it immediately disables when I return to said page. Looked in sync settings and I see no issues. What is going on here? I just want to auto backup my photos.

Today I decided to 'clean up' the phone and deleted all the photos through my PC. After all that, my phone couldn't save the pictures, when i take the photo it says "Your phone couldn't save the picture" or something like that (got my phone in polish language) and i restart the phone so that everything on my phone will delete and still nothing, i just don't know what to do. The phone is Sony Xperia Tipoo as i know.

I was using dropsync and I really like it, but dropsync autosyncs the stuff from dropbox to my phone as well. I have files that I just simply don't need on my phone and would just prefer to have my phone upload to dropbox.
I guess what I'm asking for is an app that auto uploads, but doesn't download (or requires manual download).

View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently changed the storage location on my Incredible's camera from Phone Storage to Storage Card (i.e., my SD card). Yesterday I decided to move the previsouly taken photos "IMAG*.jpg" from the phone storage to the SD card and used the Astro app to perform this move. I made the mistake of using "move" rather than "copy-paste". Something went wrong and somehow none of the "imag*.jpg" that were previously on my phone's internal storage are neither there nor on the SD card.
Where could these files have disappeared to? Is there a "Trash" folder in Android like in Windows where these jpg files could be still hidden? Anyway to recover them? Using the search feature on Astro didn't reveal any of the newly disappeared jpg files.
Here's what I did using the Astro app:
step 1: navigated to /emmc/DCIM/100MEDIA
step 2: clicked on multi and selected all the jpg files there (about 15 or so), i.e., all file names turned orange.
step 3: clicked on Edit, selected Move.
step 4: navigated to /sdcard/DCIM/100MEDIA which already had a few images that I had taken since changing the default storage location in my camera.
step 5: clicked on EDIT, selected Paste.
That's when I got a message saying "unable to move" or some such error - I don't recall the exact words and I had to click ok only for the same error to appear again some 15 more times. I guess it appeared once per image.
I went back to /emmc/DCIM/100MEDIA (the phone storage location) and to /sdcard/DCIM/100MEDIA (SD card location) but the files aren't there in either location. Please note that I'm a noob to Android having only used Windows Mobile OS phones in the past. I appreciate any help and insight in this matter so that I don't loose files more important than some randomly taken pics.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my Nextheme 2.1 droid to the new Froyo (gonna check out Fabs newest in a few minutes here) but one thing I have noticed is that for some reason whenever my droid is connected to a computer it auto starts USB Mass storage. I cannot for the life of me find out where I go to stop this from auto connecting, sometimes I just plug my droid into the computer to charge while I am working. Normally when I want the USB storage enabled I use SD share widget.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf auto backup is enabled in Photos, any images I download are also backed up. This happens regardless of whether 'back up local folders' is on or off, and even if I've explicitly disabled uploads for the Downloads folder!
I only want to backup photos I take, not all the junk I download. It's clearly broken.
When I select a picture from the "My Pictures" menu, I then hit the right soft key to get into the "Options" menu and I scroll down to and select the fourth option, "Zoom/Rotate". When I am finally done zooming/ rotating the picture, it seems as though I'm left with no option to save it. I've pressed every button that I could think of and nothing seems to work. I can't imagine that this option is not available.

So I went to Albums and signed into my facebook page. I can see the photos and email them, but I cannot save them to my phone. Is the only way of doing this is going to the browser and long-clicking it to save? Is there an app which will copy them in bulk to my phone?
