Back in Germany I have a problem with the outgoing sound during a phone call. For some numbers I dial, the other person doesn't hear my voice at all. For other destinations my sound works for about 10 seconds and afterwards the outgoing sound is missing as well.
My current version is U9200-1V100R001CHNC00B109, My provider is congstar (D1).
will roms made for the huawei ascend 2, work on the huawei sonic, as the phones look identical, and the specs are pretty much the same?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for an app that will reduce the sound of my voice call quality (either just outbound or both). Preferably something I can turn on when a phone call gets too long and I need an excuse to hang up, but something that I can just have on and will make every phone call sound bad would work,
View 1 Replies View RelatedI ported paranoid android from the desire HD to the thunderbolt and almost everything works fine except for the mic and speaker during calls. I have tried everything I can think of with my limited knowledge and was putting this here to see if some more seasoned devs may provide some insight. I'm hoping like hell this isn't kernel related but I seriously doubt it is. Data works fine and so does mms/SMS. I did have to port the ril from our limited ics roms we have to get data.
View 7 Replies View RelatedHow can I route Call sound to phone speaker on cm7 without using any Paid apps. My phones mic doesn't work and no mechanics were able to fix it. No HTC care or something is present in my city. I am able to use my phone with headphone mic. Now I want to fix the problem headphone mic to my phone but only problem is I need the sounds to come out of the phone speaker/sbox.
Basically :
My phone need to do this:
Headphone mic for voice input.
BUT outputs call sound through phone speaker or sound box.
I only need it during phone calls but all time is okay too.
I'm rooted, s off on cm7.2 drowning child's kernel, on the Intruder(At&t)
Version of the now low end phone HTC Aria.
It has a room choice of cyanogenmod 6 and 7.2 official, cm9,10 custom ported.
I have two questions:
1) Before the update, there was a sound that indicated when the call was ended. Anyway to get that back?
2) Has anyone figured out a way to change the end button behavior that was previously controlled by the Spare Parts app? I would like to end button to go home and then go to sleep but Spare Parts can't do it under the new software. Any ideas?
I have an issue since i start installing custom ROMS. So, is not my first time installing a ROM. I have installed stock ROM's in the past. However, not custom ones. I have rooted my device in the past and even now before installing a custom ROM. I have installed through TWRP recovery various custom ROMS such as Omega, AOSP, ARROW, WanamLite, Google Edition and CyanogenMod but none of them worked fine for me.
In some ROMS I might not have reception (don't worry the IMEI is the same and backed up). However, in EVERY ROM my dialler crashes; for example, when im trying to make a call it freezes and the screen goes black without seeing anything. On the other hand, when I receive a call, screen takes ages to appear and show the caller or even accept the call. In addition, I have NO SOUND at all in every ROM as well.
I believe that the kernel might be the problem. This is because when i am booting the phone I always see the following:
I have tried clearing cache, dalvik, removing battery, installing stock ROMS etc.... and nothing changed!
my s4 recently developed a problem where both audio and microphone are disabled ( speaker, headset, earpiece.. all audio input and outputs ) during phone calls using the default 'phone' app , but works fine using vibr , Skype ect. There is no other issue with the sound everything works fine.
I have tried....
-a factory reset
-certain apps that divert sound to one output
-plugging and unplugging a headset
-contacting my service provider ... for no reason as its the phone that's at fault.
I have run out of options and am not tech savy with phones / android
Any way to disable the notification sounds from going off while in a call?

Or is there a setting I've inadvertently changed that got reset when I pulled the battery out?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've looked up and down the SDK for this, but I can't find anything. I'm wondering if there's a way to transmit a sound, such as a WAV or OGG, during a call such that the person on the other end can hear it. (This sound should be heard in addition to, not in place of, the normal voice transmission.) Is there a possibility I may have overlooked?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Exhibit II, rooted and unlocked. Since I bought it I have been having a most distressing issue:
Sometimes I try to make a phone call and the sound is completely turned off (on both ends of the call). The other side cannot hear me, and I cannot hear them. I can see the time running, the call is connected (I can see that even through the other device), but there is no sound on both ends, regardless of what is the other phone (mobile or land line).
1. No, I am not pressing mute or add call with my face.
2. It does not work at all to press speaker phone, mute, or any other button while on call.
3. No, I do not plug in headsets or headphones prior to calls, nor at any other given time. Since I got the phone about 2 months ago, I only plugged the headphones once.
4. Yes, it does take sometimes 2 or 3 reboots so that the problem goes away. But the problem does return very often. At least once a day now.
5. Restoring phone to stock did not work at all.
6. The issue is also not related to my ROM, as I already installed different ROMs (currently, I have PeachSunrise, but I am using Go Launcher Ex on top of it). I already used, with the same effect, the stock ROM, Go Launcher Ex after rooting over stock ROM, and now Go Launcher Ex on top of PeachSunrise.
7. I uninstalled all active programs (and their related services and processes, which were Lookout and Easy Battery Saver).
8. I even tried replacing some files to see if I could have the problem solved, but nothing changed at all. And, since I am not very savvy at these things, I tried replacing what I personally thought could be linked to the problem. These were:
a) phone.apk
b) contacts.apk
c) contactsprovider.apk
d) Phone_Util.apk
e) PhoneCrashNotifier.apk
f) PhoneErrService.apk
g) SpeechRecorder.apk
After my phone had randomly updated to 2.2 on its own, i no longer have in call sound, so the only way i can talk on the phone is through speaker phone. its not devastating but its really annoying

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using my google I/O Evo for a few days now, and i've noticed that i'm having quite a bit of trouble hearing people talk during a call. My hearing is pretty average(I think?) and I'm holding the earpiece directly toward my ear. I've tried pressing the volume rocker to the max for high volume output, but callers sound extremely faint. I've never really had this issue with my past flip phones. Am I missing a volume control somewhere, or do you think i have a defective unit?
View 16 Replies View RelatedCould it be possible now, which we can develop an Android application having the following requirement for its working steps Automatic receive the call, then Play some sound out to the caller, wait for DTMF response, then Record the caller sound (in the case that they permit, by pressing 1 as DTMF response)Callee can play back the recoreded sound later.
View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know how to turn off the text message notification sound whilst on call? View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been having this sound issue that keeps driving me crazy. At least once a week my phone will go silent (I guess that's one way to put it) on me.
My media volume, notification volume and call volume are all at max, but I get no sound out of my phone when a call or message, etc. starts up on my phone. I know it's not any option I'm accidentially hitting on my phone because I can literally get off of one call where the volume worked fine when my phone rang and two minutes later it's messed up. A simple reboot fixes this issue, but it's annoying having to do that. At first I thought it might be rom specific, but it has happened with just about every rom I can remember using.
Has anyone else run across this happening?
How is the Build Quality? Call Quality? I had problems with the N1 and low Call Quality. Camera/Flash Quality? How is it with 2.2? Very Fast? You think it will get above 2.3? (even by custom roms?)Music/Sound Quality? Loudness? You can change the LED light? Like on the X10 and N1 (trackball) to red, blue, purple, green, blue etc? If you have used the N1, which do you like better? And why?

Is there any quick setting or app to do this on Hero?
