Jan 12, 2013I know how to do it but all the links I can find to the necessary software are dead or not working , I need the one key Rom installer for the ascend p1 and the Huawei sub drivers , I've downloaded countless zip and rar files and their all broken, has this phone rooted, has copies of these files and if could mirror them.

Jun 1, 2013I just got the U9200 on Tuesday unlocked through Amazon for $290! Rooted it yesterday using a guide on xda. But when I went looking around for other firmware I noticed that my version wasn't in any list. Google search turned up one Chinese forum thread that just says the guy rooted his phone. Searching xda brought up nothing relevant.

Jan 27, 2013No root..Firmware v. B104...New phone, got it in late December 2012. Handled with great care. Battery icon and battery graph stuck on 50%. Never know how much battery juice I've got left. No warnings, just powers off when it's empty.
Tried:
- Factory reset
- Attempted hard reset, but I'm not sure it worked, 'cause nothing special happened on my screen.
- Completely draining the battery (as an equivalent to removing the battery. Non-removable battery on this one)
I have been looking for firmware updates, but I can't find any for my B104, and if I have understood it correctly, applying an update for the B226 will most probably render my device useless.I am quite satisfied with this phone, it is magnificent, so I do not want to root it unless I absolutely have to. Mar 7, 2013 I recently got a Android 2.3.6 phone, models the HUAWEI Ascend Y201. So far happy with it but there are a few things I want to do- and reading up on it has more Tbab confused me. Firstly I want to remove the bloatware it came with but it seems this can't be done without 'root'. I understand that this basically allows me more permissions with the system? Secondly I am wondering about these ROMs. What do they do? Lastly, the play store seems to like telling me there is no space left for the application, but it installing to a 4gb SD card? An application I saw called MarketFix claims to fix it but needs root.
I have tried z4root (this did nothing) and gingerbreak (ran for 7 hours).

Aug 22, 2013I tried updating my U9200 from firmware B105 - B315 but it did not allow me to do so.I then followed olav's guide and flashed MIUI onto my device but i have no service now.Also, i cant get the device into recovery using the Volume UP & Volume Down and power button so try and install the huawei stock firmware again.

And one of them is that there is no notification bar anymore. (the one you can slide down on homescreen, there is the bar wich u can slide down but no "bluetooth, wifi, gps etc")
I saw a video where you go to display settings and tick the notification bar or something like that , but there isnt such an option on his phone.

Apr 12, 2014I'm pretty new to Android. I recently rooted my phone using Framaroot and it worked perfectly after reboot. Then I tried to install Sinhalese fonts using Sinhala Fonts Installer and after installing that, I uninstalled the app before restarting. Then I restarted the phone and it get stuck at the Huawei Logo and will not boot into launcher.
I tried to hard reset by going to recovery mode using Power + (vol up + vol down). (Fortunately I can go into the recovery mode.) Even if I factory reset the phone, the same situation is there. And some articles said to log in to fast boot mode by Power + Vol down, but it doesn't work and just boots into that Huawei logo.
As I read, to install a custom ROM, ClockWork Recovery has to be used, but I can't do it since I can't log into my phone.
Is there any way I can make my phone alive? Or at least, is there any way that I can install ClockWork Recovery without booting into my phone, just using my SD card?

Jun 6, 2013I've been having problems with the SD card on my Cricket Huawei Ascend for a long time. I cannot download anything on any browser, it will only result in an error saying I do not have enough space. When I mount the SD card, there are no files visible on my PC, and I have tried formatting it, but unmounting it will only have the phone return it from it's 944mb of free space after I formatted to 875mb of free space with 4 files- busyboxstericon, ComFile.dat, crash.txt, and toolbox-stericson. These files return no matter what I do. Moving files from the PC to sd card will only be wiped when I unmount it. Any solution, or is it beyond redemption? I've also tried some solutions like the SDformatter program, and windows chkdsk, but they have not worked. I also factory reset my phone out of desperation, but no.

General :: Huawei Ascend G700 Stuck At Bootloop
Nov 4, 2013My Huawei Ascend G700 that I just bought has gone into a bootloop. I have succesfully root the phone using Huwaei eroot software from as in the picture below but I havent flashed any custom ROM yet.
But then I want to install CWM recovery into the phone as it much feature rich that the stock e3 recovery. So I've downloaded the CWM recovery from the page in the picture below.
I used MobileUncle Tools to boot the CWM recovery & that's when the issue occured. It keep restarting after the Huawei logo. I cant even get into the recovery (by holding volume button up + power button). If I hold the volume down button + power button, a sentence " => FSATBOOT mode... " at the lower left corner of the screen will appear but the phone will reboot itself again & again.

Jan 5, 2013The part with red doesn't work on my phone anymore, i can't acces the apps in the app drawer because when I press there nothing happens, also home button, menu button and back button don't work anymore. Could it be the screen digitiser?
I disassembled and assembled it to check if a cable or something wasn't right, but everything seemed ok, but even after that it's still not working.
I did a factory reset and the dock buttons worked but the 3 menu, home and back buttons didnt work and later on the dock buttons didn't work again, should i flash a ROM again? Maybe it would work then, but I'm not sure if the home button is going to work in CWM Touch.
BTW, I went to developer settings and enabled show touches and that area which is affected can't be touched at all but sometimes if I bend the phone, it gets ghost touches and even the dock gets touch inputs.

Sep 23, 2012I got a Ascend P1 U9200 in China and rooted it in order to install Google Play. It worked well a few days by using the chinese SIM card in China.
Back in Germany I have a problem with the outgoing sound during a phone call. For some numbers I dial, the other person doesn't hear my voice at all. For other destinations my sound works for about 10 seconds and afterwards the outgoing sound is missing as well.
My current version is U9200-1V100R001CHNC00B109, My provider is congstar (D1).
