I am not just talking about buying a cable with a female 30-pin and male mini USB I mean actually taking out the 30-pin piece of the iHome and replacing it with a mini USB. How to go about such a thing. I just don't like any of the mini usb based looking docks. Specifically I have the iHome iP9 but I imagine if it has been done with others it could be done to mine as well.

I have Xperia X10 Mini working rock solid with MiniCM10 and nAa JB 5 kernel.
I want to convert this device as Media Player (iPod) as well as can use it as second camera and backup phone.
This primary usage will be as Media Player.
1. A good Media Player app for Xperia X10 Mini (600mhz/256MB Ram, screen < 3")
2. How can i cut down the memory load to give lag free experience in media player.
3. Some light weight launcher, or how can i make media player to comeup as default instead of launcher.
XBMC doesnt work on the device, any other options?
Alright Android geniuses here is a tough one. My car radio as a cable that goes into my glove box with an ipod adapter, does anyone know of an a adapter that will covert that to a usb to use with the droid?
View 9 Replies View RelatedOkay, so i quite fancy getting a speaker dock for my HTC Desire. For 2 functions really, the main one is charging, but also so i can use it to listen to music without my headphones. Now, most the decent docks appear to be geared towards the iPhone/iPod ( have been looking at them in electrical stores today) -and thus, where my HTC phone will sit there is obviously the huge wide iPod/iPhone connector which would fit into the base of the iphone - obviously with the hTC being a mini usb input, it wont fit. So my question is is there a small connector available somewhere that has the female ipod connection at one end and then the male mini usb the other so you can simply slip this on the male sticking out ipod connector at the base of these Speaker/CHarger docks and then put the HTC on top? know a lot of them do have AUX inputs which means yeah, i could connect it and listen through the speakers BUT, id like this to be a charging dock as well. Am i th ONLY person in the world who has a HTC that wants a Speaker/Charger Dock?? surely not?

I noticed recently that when I sit my Droid on top of my iHome (yes, I have an iPod), the dock home screen appears as if I had just placed it into my dock. I am currently extending my media center setup. Right now it is Windows-based, and I have used a lot of app/server combinations to control Media Player/Media Center, which I am pretty happy with.
Now my problem is that I have bought an iPod dock that just connects the iPod via USB to my HTPC, which makes it possible to directly and 100 % digitally play music from the iPod. I have been looking for an app/server combination to remotely control the iPod playback from my Android device, but haven't found anything. There are a lot of apps to remote control iTunes, but which can also control an iPod connected via USB?
Using Windows 7 - can change to Linux if that will do it, 32/64 bit doesn't matter. HTC Desire Z using Android 2.3 or 4.0 doesn't matter what is required - I just want to find a way of doing this.
(If the app/server combination also will control Media Player/Media Center, it is a plus, but not a requirement as I already have another app for that.)
Just like the subject says, is there an app to transfer files (specifically mp3 files) from android to an ipod? I have used Google search to try and find an app and I have used Bump, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth file transfer.

java -jar baksmali-1.3.2.jar -x -d ./origi_frame myapp.odex
It works without giving me any error messages but in the output directory are only *.smali-files (instead of dex-files). Before calling baksmali I have downloaded the framework-folder from the device and placed it under ./origi_frame.
