Mar 15, 2014Ok,so this problem is getting really annoyed for the past 2 months,my Samsung android phone simply doesn't connect to google plus,that means my google play doesn't load.My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Young S6310.When i start Google Plus app,its simply stuck at Connecting...but after some HOURS,it's says Cannot connect to servers.In google play store,the main page loads quickly,but when i try to search or select an app,its simply STUCK at the spinning circle,i leaved it for about 4 hours loading,but still nothing. The download manager isnt turned off and i restarted my phone and cleared data from google play several times. tl;dr : google play doesnt load neither google plus.

Sep 28, 2013Both of my 3G and wifi connections work on the browser, but don't when connecting the play store. I looked into and and tried a bunch of solutions to fix it. I cleared data for all google apps, tried turning on/off auto sync, restarted router, re-flashed google apps. Every single time the app doesn't even ask to set up an account, when I click it it only says no connection, as if it never reset. It happened even when I flashed gapps again. When I go to my account it says "Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly" and under my account name it says Sync Error. I'm rooted running the liquidsmooth rom ( which I've been running for about 2 months no problems) and I'm running out of options. I really do not want to have to resort to a total reset, or going back to a backup I had in my recovery because it is super old.
Deleted a file called "hosts" in /etc in root explorer!

Jul 18, 2013I have recently received a Daxian XY100S and can't make Google Play Store to work. When it opens, it closes in a second. I can't sign in to Chrome and YouTube. I rooted it and I removed all the Chinese apps and it is still not working. Download Manager has been always enabled.
What else can I do to make it work?There have been installed an alternative chinese store app, I thought it were conflicting with Play Store but I uninstalled it and it is still not good.

I pushed Phonesky.apk, GoogleLoginService.apk and GoogleServicesFramework.apk to the pref-apps system folder like in CM 10.2. After rebooting, there was no Play Store installed.

Mar 9, 2013 my motorola atrix with/ ginger bread crashes all the time I want to access to it. This happens since I install an app call "freedom", so I diceded to do a hard reset but it did not wor. Then I did a factory reset But it remains the same. I change the time and I finally could enter my gmail account, but the google play still crashes.
I did a hard reset again, but now The "market" app does not appear when setting up the phone. I downloaded it externally, but it reamins crashing.

General :: Google Play Store With Multiple Accounts - 403
Mar 22, 2014Have had an ongoing problem with error 403 in the Google Play Store.In this case, the issue seems to have arisen because I have historically used 2 google accounts to purchase apps. 'Account A' from 4 to 3 years ago, and 'Account B' from 3 years onwards.
I now only have 'Account B' on my phone (N7000), however, some of the apps which I purchased with 'Account A' still appear as purchased in my Google Play Store, even although phone can be hard reset with no further 'Account A' reference. So I get this 403 download problem, although I wouldn't even mind just buying some apps afresh with 'Account B'. Also, maybe of relevance, the same card was used to purchase on both accounts.
Is there a way I can 'clear' the original 'Account A' purchases?
General :: Galaxy S3 / Using Google Account For Play Store Only?
Aug 24, 2013I signed in to Google Play using my own personal email address, as I figured that would be the easiest way to manage my account. Lo and behold, a year later there are now four Android devices on my Google Play account (my S3, a Nexus 7, a 2013 Nexus 7, and a Kindle Fire running AOSP). When setting up these other devices, I could not figure out how to set up my account for only Google Play. I have sync disabled for things such as GMail and Hangouts, but they can still manually switch to my account in the respective apps. I have Googled around and cannot find any solution, though I think some of that may have to do with me having no idea how to word my search queries. Is there any way to set this up, or will I have to make an entirely new Google account for the entire family? I have not purchased many apps (no more than $30), but the two Nexuses (Nexi?) that are not rooted will lose all of their app data.

Feb 7, 2014Before that, I was on CM 10.2 and GAPPS that comes with it, I was able to use the market even though I uninstalled the Google services apk, everything worked just fine. Maps sometimes said somethin' like "best experience with google services", but it actually did work smoothy...
Now I installed CM11 with new GAPPS, and when I disable Google services, then Play store tells me that it can't run without it, and just closes without letting me download any app.
Is there any way do bypass this check ? I fight any app running as a service when it's not needed (battery life, data consumsion, privacy), that's why I don't want to have the Google services on my phone.
General :: Google Play Store 3.7.13 Landscape Display?
Jul 7, 2012Epic 4G Touch stock rooted Android 2.3.6. Since the 3.7.13 update, the Google Play Store is displaying landscape app preview pics in portrait style even when I have my phone in landscape. In other words, they don't fill the screen like they should, but are displayed sideways as if I was still in portrait mode. I've been noticing this for a while now, but figured it had to do with how the dev uploaded the pic, but I confirmed today that it happens with all apps that have landscape preview pics (Angry Birds is a good example), so I believe this issue started with the latest update.
