General :: Playing Brave Frontier On PC Using Genymotion
Jun 2, 2014I have installed genymotion, sdk from android, gapps and arm translator, Google Play store works fine and I can install other apps. After I open brave frontier, it always give me an error message "unfortunately brave frontier has stopped". You may check the screenshot I attached.
Specs:
WINDOWS 7 64 BIT
Latest version of sdk and genymotion
Android Kitkat 4.4.2
General :: Genymotion Stuck On Android Boot Screen?
Apr 8, 2014OK, one day I was able to open a Genymotion device, but later that day I wasn't. Reason?
When I opened a terminal (using CrunchBang Waldorf) and ran Genymotion, it would work fine, but then when I booted a Samsung Galaxy S4 4.3 , it would bring up the device fine, but it would get stuck on that "Android" screen, with the light going across.
I waited for a few hours, only to come back to the same message. I would open up the .Genymobile/genymotion-player.log using cat in terminal. The results?
[Genymotion Player] [Debug] Output command: "0%...10%...20%...30%...40%...50%...60%...70%...80 %...90%...100%"
So I tried running it through VirtualBox, giving me "untracked pid exited ____" with a number 100+ in the ____.
Other devices work fine, including SGS4 4.2.2, but SGS4 4.3 doesn't work.
General :: File Type Not Supported
Oct 21, 2013I have an Sandisk micro SD Card on my galaxy. I was downloading and deleting apps. But took I for my laptop and tethered my phone to copy some music, on my phone for some music it would say 'File type not supported' while all the music, would be mp3. And when I tether again to play the music again it would play with scratches..And finally when I take pictures with the phones camera, I would see it and it would be fine but, when I exit then check my gallery it would be corrupt if, I try and send it on whatsapp (even a song that says "file type not supported") it would say "Not an image/audio file". Should I format my card, get a new one or what?

Sep 28, 2013I've got the android phone mentiond in title. I am looking for a way to move apps to external SD card, I have tried few things but none of them work. In the end,when using Link2Sd app, I get a message:
''App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card.''
By the way I have rooted my phone( I guess) using Framaroot app 1.6 (with Gandalf option) and it was succesful, I have Superuser, but I have no idea what to do next.

General :: Greek Characters Not Supported
Sep 14, 2012Is there any way to "teach" Android to recognize the characters not displaying in the attached image? Unaccented characters always display fine, but most accented characters show up as a rectangle. They display the same way in the stock browser, Chrome, and Drive, so I suspect it's system-wide.

Apr 29, 2014I've created a single primary Ext2 partition in my phone's external SD card but Android refuses to mount it automatically. Whenever I attempted to mount it manually it kept throwing the error "mount operation not supported on transport endpoint".
How can I mount it?
Using (SlimKat) Android 4.4.2.
EDIT: I'm now able to mount it only manually but have to specify ext4 as its filesystem -- why and will it make a difference since ext2 is non-journalled? Also, I tried adding a mount entry in /fstab.smdk4x12 but it was deleted upon reboot; does this mean no manual entries are allowed in that file and I will instead have to hack my own /init-xx.rc file to manually mount the partition at boot time?

General :: Google Now Music Recognition - Action Not Supported?
Jan 14, 2013I have a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo (MT15i Hallon) with the newest Nightly CM10 installed. My problem is, that in Google Now, when I ask "What's this song" it says "This action is not supported in your country". I tried everything, changing language, timezone, default google search engine, nothing worked.
My question would be, is there a way to edit a file with rootexplorer to gain ability of using this feature?

Apr 1, 2013Samsung Galaxy Proclaim/Illusion. I decided I'd root my phone. After that was all said and done, I started up the phone and got a message, "unable to charge non supported battery see user manual." I never had any problems with this new battery, an Acesoft 1800 mAh that I've had for about a 1.5 months. I bought this battery because my old Samsung battery got fried. (I took it out and dropped it into water...)
I just purchased a Samsung battery off of amazon for $10, hoping that it'll come and fix all this.
I wanted better battery life, a faster phone, etc... None of that is useful if I can't charge my battery.

Oct 18, 2010I noticed a similar thread by another member.However, my problem is not constant.Sometimes, and as far as I can see it's random, my phone cannot play the music files I have on my SD card.I've tried the stock player and Mixzing. The music is WMA format.Sometimes it'll play the first few seconds, then stop.Sometimes, when I press party shuffle after it says it can't play it plays! This is not just one album, but any of them. Other times it works fine.Is it the WMA format?If I re-rip as MP3 will that help?It's annoying when I think I'm going to listen to an album on a bike ride and then can't!
