After flashing new ROM i got my apps back true titanium backup wich worked perfectly. Only problem is that I see all agenda-items double... How can I fix that?

I'm a 1-week android user. I rooted my unit (Lenovo A390) and uninstalled the stock Agenda app because of my eagerness to get rid of bloat apps. Is there a way to restore this stock app? It's not available in the play store. I can't find any apk for this one so I can manually install it.

I just demo'd the Droid X in store today. One thing that annoyed me was having to double tap on things like menu items, when I wasn't used to having to double tap those before. Here is what I'm talking about (take a look as he double taps the "More" icon at 3:34 in the video):

Had no problem getting my phone to play nice with our exchange server at work and emails are coming/going fine.
However, there are some configuration items I have a big issue with as it relates to the 'look' of the email (coming from a BlackBerry).
1. Is there any way to have a single folder show my received items and sent items combined? My BB had this and it was very useful.
2. How can I edit the way my folders are displayed at the top horizontal bar? The sidescrolling folder display is awkward, it puts my inbox first (good) but then all subsequent folders are listed alphabetically; it pays no attention to their order on my desktop and also shows sub-folders of other files. Any way to change this?
3. Is there a way to change the way emails show as unread? The difference b/n read and unread is only a shade of grey, and difficult to see outside.
I've tried astrid, and google, and syncing astrid with RTM (free version), and other to-do lists and calendars. I'm just looking for a simple agenda app, where I can click on a damn date and add a list of stuff I want to do without all the mess of prioritizing, adding times, colors, drops of blood, etc. I just want to click and type and have it there, laid out in a simple organized view. possibly a widget. does anyone know of anything like this? Or could someone create one? Not everyone needs an overcomplicated mess.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just noticed today that all my facebook contacts birthday events are showing twice in the agenda widget? I had to delete the data in /settings/applications/contacts storage yesterday to cure a separate google contacts sync problem that I had, maybe this caused the agenda widget problem? My contacts all synced ok from gmail again and I have since linked a few to facebook contacts in the people app. However most of the
duplicates are for contacts that are not linked in people, so I dont think thats it.
I have the widget where you have your appointments on a full screen, so on the top right is the current date, but this doesn't change.only changes when I delete and re-add the widget to the home screen.When I press the widget to go to the agenda itself it does show the date correctly there.Is a problem, forgot a birthday cause of it.(Installed eco birthday now but still)

On the bb when you go to calendar it gives you a listing of the days events and I set it to view where only scheduled events show- no free time. How would you do that on the droid2 . I see you can go to calendar but then you have to key agenda and then it shows you the agenda but with all the free time also. Is there a way to see it like I do on me blackberry , without going to calemdar first and having no free time show.

Currently I use the stock calendar widget (that takes up a full screen) and have an Astrid widget on another screen.It would be nice to have a widget (preferably free) that does both (or it can sync with a different task management app if someone has a better one than Astrid).I know about the Pure Calendar widget and that seems to be the highest recommended one, but are there any others?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI think I have double rooted my Galaxy Tab 8.9 - but my tiny technical mind is thinking they have probably cancelled eachother out... or probably the second root did not work because the first root file was still present? in any case it is not allowing me to remove bloatware / Superuser App appears to be not granted root access so my rootin tootin first dive into tablet hacking has gone awry!
I have a UK Galaxy Tab 32Gb 3G (GT-P7300). I tried installing two separate root zip files via the standard recovery mode, one of which (my first attempt) should have been flashed/installed in CWM recovery - but wasn't. I then did factory reset, and tried the standard root advice as given on the top of teh XDA Developers GT 8.9 thread.
I have tried backing up to an old back up via KIES, and also a regular factory reset, but neither seem to get me back to square one (i.e the Superuser app is still installed in both cases)....
I was wondering if there is an app that does this as I haven't been able to find one.
I don't like Flyscreen because it is slow and bloated IMO and it doesn't even have a calendar agenda view, only a monthly calendar view from what I can tell.
I'd just like a simple calendar view (Like the Pure Calendar Agenda widget, but on the lock screen) without other battery draining features.
So i'm not sure this classifies as a "bug" or "issue" per se, but it is an issue for me. When i'm looking at the calendar and click on the "agenda" view on the bottom left, it only shows me the Agenda List for the current month. There is no way to swipe or scroll to the next month(s). Is this changed in Android 2.1? Or is there a better, free, calendar Widget out there that does this?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI got the Droid Razr Maxx when it came out and I am having an issue with Facebook for Android notifications. Whenever I receive a notification my phones both vibrates and makes the notification sound twice really fast. How can I change this to only have it do this once? It does it so fast that it cuts off the first one before the sound is finished. I don't have any special song or anything set as the notification just one of the standard ones on the phone.

Someone was able to write a program for iphone to do this but they won't for android. They are fanbois so no dice.
So, I've been pretty disappointed to know that the Nexus 4, 7 and 10 have no 16:9 aspect ratios, which means that widescreen videos will have black bars displaying on the top.
Currently, on my iPhone 4S and 3rd generation iPad, I can double tap and "crop" the video, and this makes the video fill up the entire screen and videos looks really nice. However, on a Galaxy Note and a Galaxy S III, I've tried doing the same thing but they refuse to crop.
Is there something that I am missing or is there no double tap to zoom at all?
I want to set double click event of my button to return to the HOME .... where to find the file to edit to do this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to get the agenda views on the Google and corp calendar to NOT show any events in the past? I don't see a way to do this. The calendars seem to show the current day at the top when you go to the agenda view, so it's not a horrid show topper, but it's still annoying. I don't want to accidentally be looking at wrong days in the past and not know it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using Companion Link to sync my Outlook with Gmail and thus to my Eris. So far it works flawlessly. All my calendar events show up, all details and notes included. The one weird problem I'm having is that while all of my calendar events show up in Outlook, and in the Gmail calendar, AND on the Eris calendar in either Month View (it shows the notch indicating an event that day) or in Day View (all events are correctly displayed) but --- if I switch to Agenda View, most of my events are NOT displayed. All Day events are all displayed as a few "timed events", but most timed events are not. Can't figure it out. I know the data is there. It is correctly displayed in every place and in every way EXCEPT Agenda View.

It only happens only when i pass the my finger over the middle of the screen, ie. a horizontal line in the middle of the screen. This is affecting scrolling and tapping on anything in the middle of the screen.
I just want to know if this a software (calibration) issue or a problem with the screen itself.

I have recently purchased Xolo Q1000 and i installed subway surfers. The game has a function to double tap for hover board. But when i double tap on the screen for the hoverboard the screen zooms in and out but I do not get a hover board.
My device is rooted but i have the original rom from the company.
The phone comes preinstalled with android 4.2.1
The double tap function has similar effect in the dialar screen as well
I presume it is a software glitch. Is there any fix for this.
