Jun 21, 2010Can anybody show me how to make (correct) music folders for my Evo? I made a folder called 'Drake' within my Music folder on my SD card, and when you go to the music app and than the library, both his albums show up (So Far Gone and Thank Me Later) that I've created. I made a folder for 'Kanye West', I made two folders for his album (Good Ass Job and Late Registration) but the album folders aren't showing, just the MP3 inside. What happen to my folders? Did I do something wrong? I did everything for 'Kanye West' folder the same thing for Drake, but only the Drake folder and the content within it are showing up properly.

May 3, 2010I want to add a contact just to my phone and not to my gmail account.Whenever I start to add a contact (phone, 208544.menu, +contact, create new contact,) the next thing it forces me to do is to choose an account to create the new contact under and it lists my 3 gmail accounts.I have no option to just put it on the phone.Any ideas here?We do the same thing on the Incredible but it gives us the gmail account and the phone to choose from but not on the Motorola.

However I have noticed that when I let my phone run standard app process limit the battery life is around 30% worse than when I set the app limit to 4 processes in the developer settings. Now that I have CM10.1 and it doesn't have developer options, i'm wondering what I can do to limit my processes down to conserve battery?

General :: 64 GB SDXC - Can't Get It Working Properly?
May 14, 2013I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and recently bought a no-name 64 GB SDXC card to replace my 32 GB, but I can't get it working properly.
I can transfer files to the card both via a micro SD adapter and the USB contact plugged to the computer. The SGS2 detects it, but the folders and files in them are corrupted by the phone. After some GBs, all folders are empty and folder names format like this:
"Dave Gahan" > "AVEGA~1" (spaces in original folder name)
"Depeche Mode" > "EPECH~1" (spaces in original folder name)
"Delerium" > "ELERIUM"[code].....

If I put the SDXC back in the computer, the folders are like in the phone (corrupted).I've never had this issue with the 32 GB card and right now it's working perfectly having the exact same files as the 64 GB on it.I'm running stock ROM with Speedmod kernel 4.1.2. The 64 GB is formatted to FAT32 with 32 kb cluster size and there are no files over 4 GB.
Is there a way to solve this or is my 64 GB SDXC broken?

For some reason I just installed Gamecih version 3.00. Life. The app still says error need root even after I granted access to it through the supersu root permission prompt.

Maybe I did the signing wrong. Okay, so I take the Settings.Apk from AOSP Gingerbreak (from the SDK Emulator) and plug it in.
I try an unsigned apk and I get another issue about not being signed. I research and I read that I have to resign all APKs... So I do. I take all /system/ app/ *.apk with the matching certificate and resign them. I also take /system/framework/framework-res.apk and /system/framework/twframework-res.apk

Feb 22, 2014I have a problem with google+ Android app, recently, today I stop from receiving notifications on my phone not even on the status bar and I have the config for example this community to receive notifications. The only way I could recieve them and others I've configured is to enter the app and the other strange thing is that I doesn't even sound while I have configured that too. I've reinstalled and installed the app, wipe cache and dalvik, wipe the app data and config again with no results, it's too rare. y Google App version is 4.2.4.58179886 and i have activated the sync of Google+ on the account. For further information i receive notifications with sound for people who circle me and mention me but not communities or circles i have.
P.S.: For Google+ web notifications are working as they do. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 with Jelly Bean 4.1.2. Don't know if it has to be with other Google services like Google Play Services, Google Framework or other.

Apr 30, 2012I was removing stock apps from my /system/app folder, and deleted Launcher2.apk by mistake. The phone couldn't boot properly, so I managed to get the apk from the emulator and install it using adb booting the phone on recovery mode.
Now, my problem is, that Launcher only shows shorcuts to the apps from my /system/app folder. Every apk I put or install on /data/app doesn't apear on the apps view. So there is no way to launch any app unles I manualy move it to system.
I think launcher must read a config file to get the installed apps, and it's failing for some reason. What do you think?

Dialer have following issues:Dialer doesn't show alphabetic keypad i.e. can't swipe to qwerty keypad Dialer doesn't act smartly i.e. when we type in the numbers it doesn't bring the relevant matches If saved number is come in different format then dialer doesn't show contact details.
e.g. - Suppose I have saved ABCD contact with 1234567890 number. If incoming number come as an 01234567890 then respective contact name is not shown on dialer screen. Same issue persist while dialing the number.

General :: Input App For Windows That Actually Works Properly?
Sep 5, 2013I've tried Unified Remote and WinApp off the market, both highly rated, both practically useless for me, if for example you run a setup program the input just stops working so you have to plug a mouse in to complete which completely renders the app pointless to me. That was just an example, all of the ones I've tried have been so flakey as to be frustrating.
Are there any apps that can act as keyboard and mouse for a remote windows system that actually work 100% of the time?
General :: Touch Screen Stopped Working Properly
Feb 20, 2014i got a brand new S3 In december 2013 , i dropped it an it broke ( both touch and LCD ) I got them replaced by a authorized service . It worked fine 2 months , Two days ago some problem appeared, Touch screen stopped working propperly , it worked only for short periods of time. Now if i press really hard on the right hand corner (Above the return arrow) it works Perfectly ( as long as i keep my finger there) but sometimes it works fine after reboot but in the end it stops (No signs of cracks or damage) , i had CM11. What i've done until now :
-Deleted CM11 and added 4.1.2
-Took it appart and checked the ribbon ( fine)
-Hard reset
- Dummy file generator
Everything works on it buttons ,Before the freezing screen flashes a bit .
General :: Shell Gives (ADB / Permission Denied) Cannot Access Properly
Apr 24, 2012The DroidExplorer shell gives "adb: permission denied" cannot access properly into Coby Kyros MID7125 tablet.
I cannot see my root contents and folders with shell. I have rooted my MID7125 and it has ClockWork recovery too. I have made a backup successfully. I can connect to it with my PC using DroidExplorer. I go into shell and get my $ prompt. I enter adb devices and get the following: "adb: permission denied" Is there a password? If so, what is it and how do I enter it to access properly. How can I see the folders?

Aug 28, 2012So my phone (Motorola triumph) recently started having charging issues. When I plug it in I usually have to wiggle it a bit for it to charge...then if I just leave it for a bit and don't touch it I will come back like 15min later and it won't be charging.

I've tried a whole bunch of SMS backup tools but they all seems to import the messages in a wrong order even though the dates are right. Extracting the messages from a Nandroid doesn't work because MIUI uses a different sms database format or something.
