General :: Acer A510 - Can Root Cause Game / App Instability?

I am quite an Android gaming geek. I rooter my Acer A510 around a month back. Before rooting, I used to have games that force closed occasionally. Now, I have certain games that regularly FC as well.
Anyway, someone mentioned to me that rooting my tablet caused the instability. I do not believe it to be the case.
Does rooting (mind you: root alone, no custom ROMs whatsoever) cause instability among apps and games, causing them to crash more frequently than they otherwise should?

I was wondering if there was a way I can root my Acer Iconia B1-710 Android tablet ([URL]... ) It is running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. I have tried multiple methods but it keeps telling me that I have not enabled USB debugging mode (and yes I activated it & the thing that allows non official apps).
I did find this thread on the matter ( [URL].... ) but I am not sure if it is out dated and what to do with any of the files. Also if it is possible, installing a ROM ( at least thats what I think it is) that will aid me in making my battery last longer).

I have a little/big problem with my tablet, last night I tried to access root from this tutorial but, I get Reboot Loop even if the access root is ok, I checked with "check root".
I tried with toolkit with the following image:

I have acer iconia b1 tablet and I tried to root it and during the process the USB cable disconnected .. now the device wont start. I tried to clear data and factory default and I tried clearing catch but nothing worked. I think the system crashed. I don't now what to do.

I am trying to figure out if one it is possible for an SD card to cause my phone to become unstable (like spontenously rebooting, heating up, etc), i think the answer is yes as I have tried using the phone for a few days with and without the card and it does indeed seem more stable without the card but its less clear about if its the card or whats on the card. I tried formatting the card and thought at first that it was more stable but then it seemed to start acting up again (I can't sit and watch it all day and sometimes its not obvious that it has restarted, sometimes it just shuts down). I have also tried different versions of RR, tinkered with neartrom (not long enough to be sure though) but still stability issues.
Is there a way to see If my card is someway corrupted? or If the phone is just not liking this card or any cards? A friend let me use their card for awhile and my phone was still acting up (rebooting, freezing, overheating). I prefer to to figure out exactly what the problem is before I fork out the money for a new card; it seems illogical that a sdcard in general should make a phone act up like this but I am running out of ideas (going out and getting a new phone would be even more painful than getting a new sdcard so I am really hoping to figure this out as it seems to run ok when no card is inserted).
btw, I the card is a sandisk ultra 64gb microsdxc card, its worked for like 2 years (I stored music and backups on it mainly, most the r/w stuff was from daily podcasts).

I just installed Flash the other day on top of my BB 0.4V and 1.1LV Chevy1 kernel. I've noticed some extreme unstableness since I did that and was wondering if anyone else is experiencing something similar. I have to reboot at least twice a day now. I get constant FC's for various programs including launcher (ADW).
Sometimes it get's stuck in this weird loop where I can't get back to the home screen. I can hit back all day long and it switches between the dialer and the browser. During this time the home button is non-responsive. I usually have to reboot but sometimes going to standby (tap the power button) and coming back out it resolves itself as well. I've also had major headaches with screen rotation going haywire.
I'm about a hairs width away from dropping back to my last nandroid backup and forgetting flash ever existed if it's going to be this crappy. I seems to be not ready for release or maybe rushed to release (Adobe rushing releases? Never! haha).
Has anyone else observed similar behavior since installing flash? It doesn't matter what ROM, I'm just looking for any kind of pattern that I can point back at Adobe (not a fan - can you tell?).

Today i tried rooting my tablet using this URL>...I did everything from the instructions and first time didn't work. I tried 2nd time and it didn't work. Then I downloaded the RV27RC03_WW_GEN1 system.img, copied it in the "system_image" folder. I started rooting it for the 3rd time (because I was a fu*ktard) and when it finished it was bricked. I tried turning it on, but it wouldnt turn on, then i inserted a needle in the reset hole. It turned on, but it froze on the acer logo. When I got in the system recovery I made a factory reset.

I just bought Acer Iconia B1-471 for my son..He played several hours for a games and now it hang..I try to do reset by pressing power+vol up or down but still didn't work..

I am thinking of buying an Iconia Tab A1-810 which I plan to sometimes use to watch movies on my TV. Since it has an HDMI port I assume it will be pretty straightforward but my question is will it be able to output 1080p or at least 720p movies on my TV. Will there be lag or something?

I own an Acer liquid mini.. I find myself less fortunate then those who own a Samsung galaxy ace or Samsung galaxy fit. Although Acer liquid mini has same specifications like the Samsung galaxy ace but with a better RAM but still no one is interested in porting cyanogenmod 7 ( working) - or cyanogenmod 9 for the Acer liquid mini. on my new and first tablet, the menu tends to appear top right of each app (is this normal for tablets or an Iconia quirk?) On Facebook, I cannot get to an app menu (on my phone I have a menu with Logout, Setting and About). I own an acer liquid mini with custom rom. when I try to install an application from the play store, I get an error: Not enough space on the device. But I have 100Mb of free space. I tried to solve this problem wiped cache, and it worked. So I went to the play store, and I downloaded an app. When it finished the download, I get another error: Package files is invalid. I tried to reflash the rom, wiped cache, wiped delvik cache, wiped all. But the error there is always.When I try to install an .apk on my device, I get this error: "application is not installed".

I have an Acer liquid Metal, on ginger, rooted. The smartphone once time rooted, was good, during many weeks... After the last change of hour ( i say it, but i don't know if there any coinsidence), my smartphone who was on automatique date/hour, was always bloqued in flight mode. If i change the mode, it will be good during seconds, and back in flight mode.
I have changed it, in manual mode, i put the time and date, and now it stay in Gsm mode, all is correct.
But when i put on my smartphone, it run under flight mode, i must change it, put in gsm mode, and it stay like that.
But the problem, is at each power up, i must begin this operation.

Is it possible to unlock the bootloader on an Acer Iconia a200, if the tablet will not boot into Android?
While in fastboot mode, I enter FASTBOOT OEM UNLOCK, then I use the volume button to select the unlock icon and it tells me this:
SetUnlockedMode: Error occured while unlock the device ...

I will be picking up a replacement for my Acer A500 tablet (I'm moving to a Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet).
I have a few games, etc. on there that I would like to keep the settings and move them to the new tablet. Where I'd find the folder that contains these settings? Is there an easy way to move them from a non-rooted tablet to another non-rooted tablet?
