Android :: Pandora Stream Interruptions By Other Apps

I've got a lot of stuff going on in the background at any given time with my phone. Apparently too much.While trying to listen to Pandora through my Blue Tooth speaker set, the music gets interrupted by very quick pauses. Of course, this usually happens at it's worst when I'm trying to show someone how well my Droid works, just like everything else on my phone.I use Advanced Task Killer, but things do pop back up. It doesn't help. Then I see stupid things like Tesla LED app refuses to be shut down in the background. (WTH?.)Do I need to partition my SD card with a "clean" ROM just to be able to use Pandora and other streaming media without interruption? Or am I missing something setting wise?Satellite was on, WiFi was on (right near a router), etc.

I just found out that the GPS will NOT work while streaming music with pandora/slacker...I like listening to this music and having the directions spoken over the music while I am driving...Why the hell does GPS NOT work while streaming? It worked just fine on my Blackberry storm!

I have been researching for some time now, but have yet to come up with an actual fix. I have my Incredible paired with my Altima and can make calls via Bluetooth with no problem. My question is, how can I wirelessly stream music or Pandora from my phone to my car (Altima does not have an aux jack). I know my car is capable because I was able to do this with my old Blackberry (exactly how I don't remember, it was an intricate process of pressing random buttons).

When I got back from lunch, I suddenly noticed several of my apps were showing uninstalled from my home screen. Here are 3 examples:
1) Pandora - Icon turned to the android and would not load
2) Bible - same as pandora
3) Appbrain - same as pandora
When I checked all apps, they were missing. I went into the android market and reinstalled them. The only thing I have done is move some of my apps to the sd card. Did this cause a problem? I did this over the weekend.

pretty self explanatory. Any apps that will stream video directly from a NAS? It's a synology, and I'm aware of DS photo and DS audio. I use them both, but I'm not using the software to convert all my videos just so i can play them on my Eris. Obviously the NAS is standalone, so I won't have a PC on (hence no tversity, twonky, orb, playon, etc).
I wish mVideoPlayer did this, i'd be in heaven.
I guess if such an app doesn't exist... is there anything that can play video from a DLNA/uPnP device over both 3g and wifi? Either way, still looking for a solution to streaming video on android heh.

Anyone know any apps that can stream ESPNRadio or ESPN AM1000 Chicago? When I updated to 2.2, my apps like RadioTime and DroidESPN was deleted. Now I can't even find those in the Android market.

I am trying to stream mp3 stream from my local http server indeed hosted on my phone to android media player.When local server gets the new socket , it starts writing some http headers followed by mp3 stream. but mediaplayer socket is throwing "Broken pipe" exception.Wat may be the issue causing this.

Does anyone know how/where I can get Pandora from Outside the US? I've been using this app forever on the Black Berry but now I've move to Hong Kong and switched to HTC Desire. I can not get it from the Market Place - search turns up nothing.

Anyone else starting to get streaming ads with Pandora? I know they've been doing this with the iPhone app for a while, but didn't think it had come to Android yet. I've been using the android app for 8+ months with NO ads, then today I get 2 within the first 10 minutes of listening.
I'm not talking about the banner picture ads, I have those blocked with AdFree. It comes on between songs and I had one for McDonalds and one for KFC.

I recently attempted to download an update to pandora on my motorola droid, and it completed download but gave a download unsuccessful error message, when tapping on it, it brought me into the market and told me the package was not signed correctly.
My question is, is it hitting everyone or is it just me? and if its just me, anyone know how to fix it?

Has anyone else noticed that the pandora widget isn't available any more? I have a Nexus One with 2.2 loaded on it. For the past couple of weeks it has been missing and I wanted to make sure that it was just me, or if others are also seeing this?

I can't figure it out. At first I thought I had a blown speaker (specifically the front left speaker) because it makes popping/cracking noises VERY bad when playing music. After some experimentation, however, I found that it's only when using Pandora. If I play music from my phone off last.fm or internal memory, or non-phone sources like my other MP3 player or FM radio, there is no crackling no matter how loud I go (and for reference it happens more noticeably at low volumes, I can crank it up and drown out the popping mostly).
What gives? If I listen to pandora with headphones there is almost no problem, although on some songs I can kinda-sorta hear the popping.
I'm using the motorola droid if it's relevant (although I don't think that has anything to do with the problem).

Can anyone give me a basic time frame on how long I could stream Pandora on my phone before the battery gets too low?
I want to stream it with the screen turned off while I'm at work, and was wondering if anyone knows how long I could get out of it. This is on a G1.

Anyone have any ideas? I can't imagine Pandora needs to know my co-workers email addresses to determine what songs I like. If there isn't another logical explanation I have to assume they're collecting contact data.

Dunno what's going on. When I first got my phone Pandora was flawless. Then after awhile it would fail to load songs and lockup (I'd have to kill the process and restart Pandora to get it to work again). Then it got to the point where it would randomly stop mid-song and just skip ahead on its own or fail completely. Now it won't even load. None of my stations load at all. I'd rather not have to resort to using a different service, since I have my Pandora stations setup nearly perfectly

Is there a app or a way to not have a call come through my cell when listening to Pandora or some other audio app? This happens frequently and it's a pain in the ass to get back to normal after I send the call to voicemail. I'd like to have it where incoming phone calls don't interrupt audio streaming. I have a Samsung Moment.
