What method is used to reject incoming calls? I know how to detect incoming calls but don't know how to reject.
HTC Incredible :: Incoming Calls Don't Show Number
Oct 22, 2010I recently switched from T-mobile to Verizon, and just picked up my nice shiny new HTC Incredible phone. It works great, with one exception.Whenever I get an incoming call, the phone just shows that I have an incoming call but doesn't show the caller's phone number, or the name if they are one of my contacst. It doesn't matter if the call is coming from a land line, a Verizon mobile phone, or whether or not they are on of my contacts, each time all it shows is incoming call, and nothing esle.I probably have some setting screwed up, but so far I can't find it.

Nov 22, 2010Recently bought the x10 and I am still getting used to it. One thing I have noticed is that when a caller not on my list is calling, I only see the number. When I plop my sim back into my old shitty LG VU, I can once again see the number and the name registered to it. Is this an x10 thing?

Oct 13, 2010When recieving incoming calls message on screen when call is showing on device screen it shows system message : ["blacklisted incoming number"] {not exact message, but similiar...}. This is happened a couple of times so it is not a fluke. The calls work at first, but after this you cant recieve calls from that number. There is no setting or list to remove or edit the blacklist "feature".

Nov 13, 2013I have the screen locked. I get a call and I can still answer it and see the number and contact without unlocking the screen. This might be the same for texts, not sure yet.
I did some Googling and there seems to be a setting that can change how much the screen lock blocks. I think I checked everywhere in the phone but don't see this option. It's a ZTE AWE phone with jelly bean.
There's aparently simple ways to bypass screen lock if a phone's lost, but I still want it fully locked.

When someone leaves me a message and i press callback it calls that number and Verizon wont recognize that +1 extension in front of the area code.

Feb 15, 2012Basically, i use my personal cell phone for work and personal use, i have multiple exchange accts that keep things sorted and seperated.
recently though i have been getting more and more business calls to my cell phone, during and outside of normal business hours.
what im looking for is an app that will take a selective group of contacts/phone numbers/CID strings and if it is a "business" call then forward it to a specific phone number (external number, the actual business line).
I have seen apps on the market and around that will forward calls to voicemail if they match certain filters, but i cant really seem to find an app that will forward to an external number. Any way I could accomplish this?

Also how do I forward messages that I receive. Don't mind saving them on the phone memory or SD card but need to be able to get to them and ensure they are in folders - inbox, sent items etc.

Jun 2, 2010I'm selling my house, and my old phone number (which is still active), is on the advertisment signs and MLS. So, I'm going to keep paying my bill month to month for that account until I sell the house.
However, I'd rather not carry around 2 different phones. I did not port my number to my new service as my old number was not "local" to where I live now.
So, I have service with T-mobile and now Verizon with two different numbers. Can I set-up something where anyone who calls my T-mobile number, will ring through to my my Verizon phone/number?

When I'm the university library I've to put the cellphone in silent mode and often I end up loosing calls&SMS while I'm working on my laptop.
So it would be very nice if there was a way to notify me with incoming calls (maybe on windows 7 task bar) while my cellphone is connected to the pc via USB.

I'm looking for something that, while I'm on our boat listening to music or the engines are running, or both, will do this so I don't miss calls. I know there's something out there to broadcast music from your phone over the stereo and you can take incoming calls, etc.. But I either listen to Sirius or my iPOD and won't be using my phone as a music source.

Aug 4, 2010I have had my evo for a little over a month now and I love it, only problem is it wont accept any incoming calls anymore. At first it would accept some but now it I don't get any. I updated to froyo today hoping it might fix something but no luck. I took it to sprint a few days ago he updated it and said see if it works now if it doesn't take it to the repair shop and if they cant fix it then they will give you a new one but I don't know how you'll be able to get a new one because we don't have any. I would rather not get a new one because I got the invisible shield put on my phone and I would rather not have to waste money getting a new one/putting it on. Has anyone else heard of evos doing this or know of anything that could make this happen? Everything else works fine on the phone.
