In my code I use the intent "Action_Anwser" but it's seem not work.

Jan 2, 2012My current idea is to purchase a used pay phone and somehow connect it to my cell phone so that I can place and receive calls. I know of devices that can be connected to landlines but they require their own phone number and I don't want to add a line. Are there any devices that I could use Bluetooth to send my call into the landline phone?

This I could do with the P1, and X1 phones, but the X10 Mini Pro seems to miss this great feature. Could there be an update or some add-on for Android phones I could download to get this feature?

May 6, 2009When I get in my car my phone pairs with my Parrot so I can make and receive calls without using my phone. My HTC Magic pairs with the device fine (it does take 5 mins or so to sync fully) and I am able to see my contact list and make calls from it without any problems. It puts the audio and the microphone through the Parrot system and its fine. The problem occurs when I receive a call unfortunately. The Parrot system realizes I have an incoming call and cuts out my radio / cd in the car and rings as it should do.
Unfortunately my phone also rings and when I accept the call (on either the phone or the parrot) it doesn't automatically put the call through the parrot. I have to use the phone and manually set the call to go through the bluetooth, which as you can appreciate is a bit fiddly whilst trying to drive. I've had a look round for an app that sorts this, and checked the bluetooth settings on the phone but I've not been able to find anything as of yet that will solve the problem.

Sep 3, 2012I use Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro MK16I. (Rooted, Bootloader unlocked).
Recently I had issues syncing contacts with Google, Fb etc and I had to do a factory reset of the phone. Since then I've following issues so far.
1. Incoming calls are getting rejected automatically
2. Silent, Flight mode are missing when I press the power button
3. When I'm in some application and if I press the Menu/Home button, it does not take me to the home screen and nothing happens
4. Windows can't detect or install the drivers for the phone, even if I do it through the 3rd party sources windows still doesn't show it.

Oct 6, 2010I am looking for a lockscreen replacement that most importantly gives the option to answer calls without using the slidey swipey thingy. Maybe just a answer call button. I have tried goto - that was cool, but still had the swipe to answer. Also i tried screen suite, but that thing didn't replace the home lock screen for some reason. Can you sugget any others you might be using or know of?

The app would have an answer button that when pressed would perform the regular call answer action, but this isn't what I need help with. I've searched the internet and haven't been able to find any consensus on this issue. My app only needs to run during the call ringing stage and nothing more. What would I have to listen for to do this and what manifest entries would I need? Forgive my incorrect/nonexistant use of terminology, I haven't worked with Android in close to a year and haven't freshened up fully yet.

Aug 17, 2010So the other day i got a call and i pulled the phone out of my pocket and tried to slide to answer and nothing happned. I tried to slide it to drop the call and nothing happened. I then mashed a bunch of buttons in frustration and think i rebooted my phone. It did it again to me today, though after about 10 seconds it finally allowed me to answer the phone. Sep 22, 2010My girlfriend has an HTC Eris and here lately she's been having an issue answering phone calls. This doesn't happen every time but does happen a lot - she'll get a call and will press answer on the phones screen and she then hears nothing. The person that's calling her doesn't hear her picking up, in fact with the tests we've done with my phone and a friends phone is that on the callers end it just keeps ringing as if she never picked up.
She picks up she hears nothing, the caller on the other hand just hears the phone keep ringing. Any idea's what's causing this? She's not running any custom ROMs, in fact it's a stock phone up til about 2 days ago when I did root the phone - however she had this problem prior to that as well.

Jan 14, 2010I got my phone back late oct, and i use it unrooted, all the time, I can make calls very simply. with minor lag here and there. But anytime my phone is asleep, and i try to answer any incoming call, either Google voice or direct, I can't slide the screen to answer. and none of the buttons do anything and the call goes missed.
it's really annoying. my wife has the same phone and hers eloquently answers calls. after a few moments, the display changes to show the call is missed. and i can operate the phone again - usually with the dismay of having to call the person back, at the same time while they are leaving voicemail - NOT being able to answer the phone when it rings is really kinda a critical problem for me. Anyone familiar with this issue, and would like to take a stab at helping me fix it. I'm willing to wipe and restore to defaults just to make it work right.

Dropped calls mainly, sometimes 4-6 times during one conversation.My main irritation right now is that if I'm in the text screen or any messaging screen for that matter and I get a call my phone screen goes black and I can't answer it. Feb 21, 2014I just bought an X Cover 2 and I love it. There is just one small irritation for me. When I carry it in my pocket and somebody rings 50% of the time the phone cancels the call on its own. I'm guessing it is because it has a very sensitive touchscreen (really a lot more sensitive compared to my old Nexus One). So is there a way to make the phone answer calls only with the lock screen pattern?
