May 31, 2010trying to get rid of a photo download from the gallery. No delete button comes up when trying to remove this photo.

General :: Samsung S3 - Gallery Photo Editor - Can't Download
Feb 5, 2013When I click on a photo in the Gallery, and then click the left "button" to get the menu, and tap "edit" I get the message "Photo Editor not installed on device". Download photo editor?".
I then click "Download" and I get an error message - "service not available"...I've tried accessing it directly from the Samsung Apps, but to no avail..
General :: Endless Download Of Random Photo Despite Hard Reset?
Nov 15, 2012A friend of mine has a Droid Incredible 2 (ADR 6350). Over the past few days it has been downloading some random photo every 15 minutes, saving a new version in her Gallery each time. She installed anti-virus software and it found nothing, then she uninstalled suspect apps (she doesn't have many on the phone)-- did nothing. Then (and this is the part that really confuses me), she did a factory reset and wiped everything but the SD card. Sure enough, it kept downloading the random photo every 15 minutes once it was setup again (and with no non-core apps re-installed). It is some photo for a flooding house, she has no idea what it is from. A
BTW, it does stop when she puts the phone in airplane mode and kills the data connection.
Android :: Way To Send / Tag A Photo To Facebook From Photo Itself?
Nov 5, 2009I could be missing this, but is there a way to send/tag a photo to facebook from the photo itself? The Facebook app for my blackberry lets me do this. If I pull up a photo I just took, I have the option of sending it to Facebook, as well as tagging it. I can't figure out how to do this on my Moment.

For example it would be great to have photos automatically go into pre-set albums or quickly and easily reorganize them afterwards etc. I know I can manually move them via file managers but looking for a dedicated app with different options/filters etc.

Jun 4, 2010Here are two pics, one from my canon dslr and one from the HTC evo. Both were reduced by Photo bucket because of a file size restriction. Not bad for a cell phone camera, imo. Sorry, but I didn't have time to do some other examples, Canon T1I, 18-55mm lens, set to 8MP, full auto On the left HTC Evo 4g, 8MP, full auto On the right.

Sep 22, 2009I want to be able to download and install my app from my website, but when i do this at the moment i get the error:-
Download unsuccessful - Cannot Download. The content is not supported on the phone.
After looking into this it became apparent that the PHP Magic, that handles the downloads from the website, recognises the file as a .zip file rather then a .apk file and sends the it a .zip, that the phone does not recognise.
Does anyone know a way to get PHP Magic to recognise the file as an apk so that file extension does not get changed and the phone can recognise it?

Jun 1, 2010I'm trying to set up Dropbox on my phone in order to automate some actions, but I'm having trouble with one step. Primarily, I'd like for Dropbox to be main download location for files from Dolphin, Steel, and Browser. I can't find an easy way to make this happen, and it would be awesome if I could get it to work out.

Apr 23, 2010Long time lurker, first time poster here. As a brand new andoid fan, I've learned a lot from everyone here and now I would love to get help for my problem. I have downloaded lots of apps, but now there seems to be a problem. When I click to download, nothing happens, and then an orange triangle appears with the words "download was unsuccessful, please try again." I have tried all of the suggestions out there, removing and replacing the battery and SIM card, turning Wifi off and back on, logging out of Google Talk (although I seem to be automatically logged back in w/out doing anything), using 2G, 3G and Wifi.

Oct 28, 2010I installed an app yesterday, (appbrain web downloader) but couldn't get appbrain app to download, so I uninstalled the appbrain web app. Today I tried to update a couple apps, and niether would update- either I got a message that said download paused, with no way to re start, our it would just show it as downloading, but not making any progress. I tried to install another app off the market, just to see, and out wouldn't install either....

Mar 13, 2010I am trying to download mp3 files from my file server onto my Droid. Everytime I try to download a song I get the error message Download Unsuccessful. I thought it was a problem with my server but all of my computers can download from it, and I just went and got my mom's Droid ERIS to test. It could successfully download mp3 files from the server. This is ridiculous, why wouldn't my Droid be able to download these files but the ERIS can? Is this a case of Droid DOESN'T?

Android :: Quick Way Of Getting Photo
Sep 9, 2010I just got a HTC Evo and I'm still new to using Android (which seems awesome so far).I send a lot of photos via email to one particular person, up to a dozen times each day. Just this one particular person. Is there a way I can create a quick shortcut for sending a photo to them, and avoid the Share -> Gmail -> type email address. Are you sure you want to share without text, etc, process? I know it's not much, but I do this very frequently and the time adds up.

Now the pics werent large or anything like that but you could scroll either left or right and you could tap on the person you wanted to call.

While using ADW Launcher, I no longer get that as a choice to install any one know of another app that's similar? Or a way to get the HTC apps used on ADW Launcher?
