View 1 Replies View RelatedI realize the phone has a web browser - but is there (or does anyone know of any plans for) a native Google Wave app in Android? The last time it was brought up here was way back in Nov. of last decade. An implementation like they've done for Gmail would be cool.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi've found very interesting stuff in the internet. according to the site wave secure contained a very major security leak for some months which has been exploited. it allowed hackers to get the users PIN to login to the web central of wave secure. which then gave them access to the private data of the users, let them track the phone, ... Wave Secure still gave no comment about this. I found the blog at Wave Secure Security Vulnerability Report hope it will be fixed soon.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI could not read wave files emailed to me from my answering service and their technician said:
<beginning of technicain comments> Regarding the Verizon Droid user playing "wav" files. I did a little research and found this to be a problem for many, many, Droid owners. Our wav files are GSM 6.10 audio format, 13kbps bit rate, mono, 8kHz sample rate. Droid does not support the GSM 6.10 wav encoding format. Many voice mail systems, answering services, and MagicJack use this format. Neither the Droid manufacturer (Motorola) nor Google has a fix this problem yet.
I did find reference to a $3 program available for the Droid that may help our customer out though. Since we don't have a Droid to play with, I can't tell you if it will work or not. The program is called "Remote Wave". <end of technicain comments>
SO, I purchased this program at the Android market. Remote Wave from Walter Yongtao Wang and I have 24 hours to get a refund. It did not work nor could I get my money back. At this point I am hoping that remote wave will get updated and work.
What is Romantic wave live wallpaper? The most Romantic waves live wallpaper. A wave with bubbles floating on the surface. Color theme changes over time and the water lever indicates battery level. Will it work on my device? Romantic wave live wallpaper works very well on those phones that support live wallpaper feature. Where can I get Romantic wave live wallpaper?Romantic wave live wallpaper is again available as a free download from the Android Market. You can find it by searching for " Romantic wave live wallpaper ".
View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes it count as antivirus? I've been browsing some threads and people say antivirus apps are causing texting to force close and randomly delete all messages. I keep having this problem and was wondering if uninstalling Wave secure would help
View 4 Replies View RelatedI find that the tracking on wave secure isn't really that efficient especially since it's now an app with a monthly subscription. The main reason is that the gps tracking on it is really pretty poor in accuracy and this is the main thing I use it for. So are there any alternatives with more accurate tracking on it? ( I mean google maps gives it more accurate than WS)

View 37 Replies View RelatedI was wondering what people thought about each one or which one is better and accurate? I currently have the sprint HTC Hero and running Mobile defense (MD) but not sure if i want to try Wave secure or stay with mobile defense.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been searching for a program like this since i purchased this mytouch phone. I was wondering if anyone has actually downloaded and used this software or even the demo? I have contacted them by phone and email to no avail. Has anyone had any luck with this or do you know of an alternate software that will allow the TMo Mytouch to sync to a desktop outlook pst file. Please i understand there are sycn programs that go through gmail. I am looking for an alternative to Gmail.
View 2 Replies View RelatedShould this app always stay open? Should I exclude it from the list of apps that close when I clear the task manager? I'm guessing it will take up virtually no memory unless someone tampers with the phone?
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe title was quite blunt - but I'm writing this to warn others about paying for this product. I'm sure it is an excellent product - if you can get it to work. I made the mistake of paying for a subscription before I tried it. I have never been able to get it working.
I've been in contact with their support department who (very occasionally) reply to my email messages. I have done as they asked, run debug versions and supplied them with log files. They tell me that the problem is at their server end and they are trying to fix it. Since then (weeks ago) I've heard nothing despite repeat attempts to ask them for an update (and my money back). This morning, my phone told me that an update was available. I eagerly downloaded it in case this fixed the problem - it didn't. Just in case anyone from Wave Secure is reading this, please check support tickets IYR-245894 and BQO-385045 and you'll see how lousy you are at supporting a paying customer. So, although this product may be good, please don't buy it unless you are sure it works first. Also, if you have any problems, please don't hold your breath waiting for support from them as it probably won't happen.
So I loaded Wave secure beta to my Hero a couple weeks ago. I had occasion to travel to the west coast since and the phone locked as expected and unlocked when I entered my PIN. However, I wanted to test the remote locking feature and when I enter my login and password at the Wave secure web page it telss me I've entered incorrect info. I've verified the info multiple times but still can not login. I sent a msg to TenCube but haven't received a reply. Anyone else have this problem or know what the problem might be?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to find the proper audio source for recording/analyzing/receiving the currently played music track (or just any playing media). I'm not talking about the Mic.
The spectrum live wallpaper does this on the Nexus One AFAIK.
How can I keep receiving wave buffers of the currently playing media?
(I would like to support everything from 1.5, but 2.1 specific solutions are also welcome)
I would want to install Android on a Samsung S5380 Wave Y that runs with Bada in the present if could be possible. It's a smarthphone but i don't really like bada and i would want to install android on it.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have Samsung WAVE - S5753E on which Bada OS is pre installed.
I want to install Android OS (any version) in it.
I have seen a few posts about this.....but they all appear to be shils due to the exact wording duplicated in every post. Nevertheless, it is very close to what I am looking for. Has anyone used this to sync directly to Outlook?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am a beginner in Android programming. I was going through the official tutorial on Android developer site. When I copied the codes for the Grid View tutorial to Eclipse, many red wave underlines appeared which are not allowing me to compile. Every time I click the run button, it says "Your project contains error(s), please fix them before running your application." I am using a WIN7 and followed every single step that is necessary for setting up the envrionment. I had no problem at with previous tutorials such as Hello Android, Linear Layout, Relative Layout, and Table View.
