View 4 RepliesI have gotten both the Flash Player and Flash Lite APK's, and I have been trying to install them on the Droid. Flash Player refuses to install on stock 2.1. Flash Lite installs, but after install I can not connect to the internet (Nothing connects, Skype, market, random app, browser.)
So I wanted to know if anyone wanted to do some testing with them, to see if you can get them running on the ROM you are running. Maybe we will be able to make fun of iDevices earlier, because Droid Does what iDont
Flash Lite: FlashLitePlugin.apk
Flash Player: FlashPlayer.apk
Now that Beeb player has been discontinued does anyone know of a good alternative?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from a G1 to a Desire.
One feature that's bugging me on the Desire, the default application for Youtube videos seems to be the HTC Flash Player, but I don't want to use this. I would prefer it if it opened with the Youtube player so I can get high quality video when viewing Youtube clips on WIFI - the HTC Flash Player has no settings or option for video quality improvement.
On my G1, every time I opened a link for Youtube (from e.g. the browser or Seesmic), it opened up the Youtube application as the default viewer.
Is their a flash player program for the droid eris?

View 9 Replies View Relatedi notice when i try to use my phone's "flash player capabilities" that it works like chit. for instance, it won't play videos streamed on justin.tv. and today i tried to go to kings of leon's website so i could listen to their new album from my phone (Kings of Leon | Come Around Sundown) but it failed to work again. i can see all the songs, click on the buttons, even track forward in the songs, but NO SOUND and the songs remain on pause and won't play. is there an update or some kind of APP i can install to where i can actually get some benefit from the flash player.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm sure that this has been asked before, but after searching the forum I came up with some older posts regarding flash player (obviously not released at that point). Anyways, I received my HTC Incredible and noticed that it has full flash support, but my brother's HTC Eris does not. Is there any release for flash for the Eris or does it have to wait until the full release?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo does anybody have the latest version of Flash 10.1 that was just released to the market so we can put it on our Droids?
View 12 Replies View RelatedSo I had 2 versions of Gallery and Music Player when I was running 2.0.1 and downloaded the apk's for the 2.1 Gallery and Music apps. When I upgraded to 2.1 OS I figured the 2.0 apps would be wiped out. It appears that they have until you look deeper. I have only one icon for the stock music app but noticed that when I press the button on my headset it would start and pause music other than what was qeued in the music app.
When I go to 'manage apps' I have 2 music apps listed (both say ver 7). One is 580kb and the other 4kb, giving the impression that the 4kb version is nothing really, but there are definately two versions running at times hence the whole 2 different songs playing at once deal when I press the headset button. I'm reluctant to try deleting anything as I am not sure how I can verify that any of the files floating around right now for the music application are the current version and don't wanna complicate life if I delete something that causes a problem.
Is there anyway to install flashplayer? i need it to load my stat tracker for fantasy football
