Jun 22, 2009Uploading pictures to picasa always fails in my phone. Does anybody has faced similar problem. It always says retrying after 1 minute, 3 minute.

HTC Desire :: Uploading Photos From Phone Using Picasa
Jul 27, 2010I am trying to upload photos from my Desire to my Picasa web albums and having no success. When i use the share function on the phone I am asked to create a google account or sign in. As I have a google account which i use for my google calender, contacts and tasks I try signing in with that. That is as far as i get, after it trying to connect to the google server and returning to the picture of the photo i wanted to upload. My desire is still syncing ok with calender,contacts and tasks so the account is accessible but not to picasa it seems. I have downloaded Picasa 3 to my laptop and can upload photos from there fine.Any pointers/solutions will of course be gratefully received.

Jun 3, 2012I finally found how to stop this tool from uploading pics automatically. I was so relieved to find this solution because Picasa was starting to upload pics that I don't even remember taking.
On your phone: go to---->
1) settings
2) accounts and sync
3) click on your gmail account
4) uncheck Sync Picasa Web Albums (and for good measure if you want also uncheck Sync Instant Upload and Sync Google Photos)
5) now hit back and sync all
Now go into your gallery and the folder that says 'Instant Upload' should be gone.
HTC Desire :: Photo Uploading To Picasa Produces Grey Stripe?
Jul 12, 2010Uploaded a batch of photos from my phone to Picasa - quite a few towards the end of the batch ended up with a grey bar across the bottom half of the photo.Anyone know what causes this? Saw one or two previous posts have been made about it, but no one seems to know why it happens.

Oct 15, 2009I noticed that I am not able to view all the pictures in my Picasa albums. Has anyone else noticed this? The albums are all there but in the larger albums there are only some of the pictures the album just cuts off at a certain picture.

Aug 3, 2010Why in the world would Google not support this? I have not found a solution that does this as a "backup". I have Lookout but it does not backup your SD card. Is there a way to have your images on your SD card backed up to Picasa as an automated process? I think I lost some recently after I did a factory reset the image numbers started over I think and it has overwritten about 50 images.

Nov 16, 2010When I upload a landscape-oriented picture to facebook, it shows up fine. However, when I upload a portrait-oriented picture to facebook, it's always sideways. Anyone else have this happening?
I just hate having to log on to the full facebook site when I'm on the go just to rotate a stupid picture. It's annoying.
I've tried rotating the picture prior to uploading, but it doesn't fix the issue. And the pictures show up right-side-up in the gallery, but once they upload it's wrong.

Aug 25, 2010I have a Samsung Moment & I do have the new upgrade on it. My question is that recently since I have upgraded I've been having issues with loading my pictures to Facebook.It seems it wants to "hang" in loading status at 0% or sometimes will only go to like 18% and stay there.I have to power off & on to stop it and retry.And *if* the picture does load it takes FOREVER to.Before it would just fly right through uploading.Sometimes it literally takes HOURS before it will load.I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the Facebook app too.

Dec 14, 2010I uploaded a couple of pics I had taken with my Evo on Androidforums and when I did I notice everyones pics in the thread were allot bigger than my pics.I had the 5.3 widescreen turned on and they told me to take it off. I did and tried taking new pics and seeing the results. The pictures did come out a a bit bigger but when I tried resizing them in photobucket the quality would be effected which makes no sense since 8m is goog enough to make a huge poster whith amazing quality.
There was also people with much bigger pics than the ones I had resized and made as big as photobucket let me and they were perfect high quality while mine which were smaller were loosing quality.

Oct 9, 2010So I'm uploading the pictures I take through the share function to picasaweb.Unfortunately they are not completely uploading. It says they complete successfully but when I view them online the bottom 5% is a gray bar instead of the photo.It is like the whole jpeg didn't upload.Anybody else experiencing this?
