But the web view always remembers his last password and doesn't even show him the login page. How can I programmatically clear that saved password? Assuming that I know the host URL. I tried webView.clearCache(true), webView.clearFormData(). But it didn't work.

Nov 24, 2010I am making a basic WebView app that will load a web page. This web page requires log in information. When I navigate out or refresh the page it logs me out. How do I stay logged in? The following code is my attempt based on some research but apparently I am not understanding the concept. And so I can kill two bird with one stone, can someone let me know how to prevent a refresh of the page when you rotate your phone? is this possible?

Afterwards, for good measure, I removed then reinstalled "EXT2 Tools." Every time I've tried to install the V2 lag fix, I get an error (redoing OCLF V1+, however, appears to work fine).

Oct 24, 2010I've started a few threads here n other places about the physical keyboard issue. many other ppl have to came forward having the exact issue where it does not recognize inputs. as noted, in some apps this is worse then others. stock browser I have this issue frequently so I dl xscope and at first all was ok then after decent amount of browsing issue would happen more frequent. stock sms the issue happens a lot so I try handcent and at first all was amazing then it would happen a lot again . . tried chomp and same deal. if I hard reset my phone the kb works good on most apps for a lil, then issue occurs again. does anyone who is advanced in diagnostics on these devices think this may be an angle at looking at the issue for a fix ? and if so could a custom ROM be a way at avoiding this issue ? I've never flashed a device on winmo or android but extremely love this device to the point where I would to regain a normal keyboard .. anyone have insight here ?

Oct 10, 2010I installed OCLF V2+ and all is great. However, one day I turned on the phone and I think it's physically broken. The symptoms are:
- Only half screen image
- Other half screen has strange stripes
- The phone doesn't go past the spash screen
- It will boot in recovery and download mode. Here there's still only half a screen
So what I want to do is undo the lag fix, remove ext2 tools and unroot the phone before I go back to the store. Can anybody help me with this?
I CAN start in recovery mode and use adb shell to go to the phone shell! So I suppose I have to do the above steps from the shell!

I would love to try out the Samsung Moment, but don't have the $$ to just go out and buy one.My hero comes with all it had when new, plus I have an extra battery for it I will add to the deal. This hero has only been used for about a week, and while using it, it "lived" in my Blackberry Tour holster to give it maximum protection. Don't get me wrong, webOS is clean and has a lot of potential, but for now...lacking would be a good (albeit understated) word to describe it. I want to jump the Pre ship for the Samsung Moment, but one thing I keep reading about the Moment is bothering me - everyone says it doesn't have multi-touch. However, I recently read that multi-touch is something Android doesn't yet support. This knowledge was previously unbeknownst to me since I haven't used an Android device since the G1 first launched. Since the Moment uses a standard Android build, the OS wouldn't allow multi-touch even if the phone were capable of it. So my question is: Does anyone know whether or not the Moment is capable of multi-touch? If it's simple a shortcoming of Android, I can deal with it since I know Android 2.0 should finally support it.

For those of you who don't know, this is where you can delete something with one click but if it was a mistake you can undo it just as easily, as opposed to interrupting the user every time he/she wants to do something to ask the annoying "Are you sure you want to...?" question via dialog.
My app is backed by the Android SQLite DB and I want to be able to undo a limited set of delete and update operations. Also, I only need to be able to undo one sequential change and the information does not have to stick arround for very long.
Everything I read on undo/redo says to use a command model to store the data. My question is how can I store the database changes in a lightweight restorable way?

I cannot tell you how many times I used the auto spell checker to correct a word and it wiped-out an entire sentence instead of the word I was typing and I wanted to through my phone on the floor in frustration! Jan 26, 2010I've already done the update but both pre and post update, my Moment intermittently won't respond when getting a call. The call comes in, I hear the ringtone but no matter what buttons I press, the phone won't respond. I have to wait until voicemail kicks in or the call has ended.
I called Sprint technical support and they're going to send a new (I hope it's new) phone. I hate to set up the phone for the third time. Is there a fix or should I just bite the bullet and get the new? phone? Has anyone had this problem?

Dec 13, 2009I currently have a voice plan, with sprint, for my dying LG Musik and my father's Palm Centro and am seeking to replace my Musik with a Samsung Moment. I have an upgrade available on my account, however I don't want to get locked into a data plan, since I rarely spend any time away from Wifi.
Does anyone know if there is a way for me to use my upgrade to aquire the Moment without commiting to the data plan?
