So after I have reviewed an app, it will uninstall and I can click through to the market from the notification that it has uninstalled, but then I cannot find the app to download it again. I have a Moment, has anyone else had this issue? I really would like open gesture. I have searched the market for several apps with no luck.

I'm totally new to the android system.i am borrowing the g1 from a buddy considering this over my current phone.there is no Sim inside but it was activated before me using it.(so its running off wifi).i see nothing but free apps and it tells me there is no content for paid apps.i know the phone is fully updated, but is this due to me not having a Sim inside?i didn't think that would make a difference.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn a few apps I have downloaded I am unable to actually open the app. The app does not show up in my apps list and when I open it in the marketplace it says it's installed but the "open" button is grayed out. Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's an app error? This has only happened on about 4 apps I've downloaded. The most recent one is BatterLife.

I have an Enco B046 car radio which incorporates Android 3.2.2
All was working fine last year and had installed all my apps etc but recently tried to connect to the Market/Play Store to install other apps and it hung for a while then gave me the error:

I have internet access from the browser etc but just not Market and Gmail.
I have tried clearing the app data and even done a full wipe.
According to the 3G data icon it's trying to send data but receiving nothing back and it just times out.
I am using Android Donut 1.6, but why I cannot find some applications that are recommended from this forum?

When I go to the android market and look at the help front page there is a link called "Download Issues Troubleshooting page". The fix described in here does not work for my phone.How do I make my phone work properly again.Also, I am on Android 1.6 but I cannot upgrade to 2.2. The PC Companion says that I have an up to date phone.

I tried to build NDK with the latest source code, bu unfortunately, faile again :( .

View 6 Replies View RelatedI backed up all my apps using Go Backup, so there's now about 500MB worth of files all waiting to be restored. The reason I did the backup was that I was to flash a new ROM, which I did.
However, upon reinstalling Go Backup, I found that it doesn't recognize my backed up files anymore compared to the previous days I used it. Researching about the issue I soon realized that the problem is encountered my numerous people, all of whom losing their files because of Go Backup's inability to recognize files from their last update.
I tried installing Pro and the previous versions, but it wasn't successful.Yes, I can install the apk files one by one, but that would be quite a hassle whenever I'd flash a new ROM.
EDIT: So I tried reinstalling each apk with their corresponding tar files. Turns out there are some that can't be installed, the games. Agent Dash and Subway Surfr apks, for instance, would give me the message: there was a problem parsing the package. I guess I need Go Backup after all.
I am unable to download and update free apps from the Android Market on my Xperia X10 since the last 15-20 days. Can anyone help me with this problem? I am facing a lot of issues due to non-availability of many already installed apps and also I am unable to download and use new apps.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI set up Virtuous 2.6 (was running CMod 6.0.2 but it was restarting, even with the default kernel) this morning and have had this problem with Seesmic and Google Voice in Market where it downloads and then the progress bar goes away and the only button is Cancel download. But I can go into Astro /mnt/sdcard/download and there's Download.apk that is the file downloaded from Market. I was able to install both Seesmic and GV that way but neither are registered in Market, and running Market Doctor in Titanium Backup does not do the trick either.Any ideas on what the issue might be? I'd prefer to stay on Virtuous but not if this keeps happening.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI rooted a few weeks ago, am running xtrsense 3.0.1 and apps2sd. Certain apps that i had installed prior to root were not working after root. I tried to uninstall these and reinstall. Whenever I tried the reinstall, there is an error stating insufficient storage available. Checking the SD card, it says 140 MB available. I seem to be able to install new apps, but not reinstall previously installed. The specific apps this has happened with are Better Keyboard, shazam and handcent. Any suggestions?

I tried uninstalling samsung apps by root uninstaller and then installing it back again from apk , I tried clear data/cache many times, I tried updating samsung apps too.Although google play is working fine.

I was trying to free up space for my phone apps to run, by moving music files from the /emmc/music folder to my SD card. I succeded only when I resorted to using my PC connection, when both Astro and ES Explorer gave me "files cannot be moved" errors. I would prefer not to have done it this way, when I could have made use of such apps, but some part of the system is set against this. My phone isn't rooted, but I doubt that is the reason, as my PC was able to access files under /emmc (but not /system), and move them to my SD card. With my phone apps it's different, in that I cannot perform any operations at all under the root, not even copy (but I can look) Please help if you can!
