Does anyone recognize the font in this transparent clock? I've looked everywhere for it and can't find it.
For anyone who didn't see this already over at alldroid, there is a new ROM that I am using that is pretty sweet, its a 2.0.1 rom with 2.1 apps similar to that of the bugless beauty but it doesn't move the /system apps to /data and the notification bar is a dark transparent with white clock? home screen rotation works too. It is a very nice rom and I think very quick, as quick as the version .5 of the bugless one I was using. He is also coming out with a version with wifi tethering but said u can install it separately and it works. I haven't tested that out yet. All in all its a great rom and I am definitely sticking with this one because the theme applied is super slick!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI had uninstalled the Weather Widgets app with the HTC style flip clock because I had falsely believed it was causing some FC crashed on my Droid. When I re-installed it, it appears that the flip clock now defaults to a transparent backing with white lettering. Is there any way to get it back to plain white with black lettering? I haven't installed any extras...just the default. Attached is a screen cap of what the flip clock looks like now. I want to get it back to the traditional HTC style flip clock look. Any ideas?
View 13 Replies View RelatedThought some others might be interested in doing this if they haven't already. First off, you need root access to do this, and I am not responsible for any damage you may do to your device.
1. Download any font to your SD card. Make sure it is a TrueType font (most are) but double check anyway. Check out dafont.com for a huge selection of fonts.
2. Rename this font to Clockopia. Make sure the "C" is capitalized.
3. Now, open up Root Explorer (or any other file manager with root access) and navigate to system/fonts/.
4. Long click on Clockopia.ttf and copy it.
5. Paste it on your SD Card somewhere and rename it to something like Clockopia-Original. This way you always have a backup.
6. Now, long-click and copy your new downloaded Clockopia. Don't paste it anywhere yet.
7. Navigate back to system/fonts/ and press the "Mount R/W" button.
8. Long click on Clockopia.ttf and press "Delete"
9. Paste the new Clockopia in its place.
10. On the new Clockopia.ttf, long click and press "permissions". Check all the boxes under "Read" and the user box under "Write".
I have looked all over, and I can't find any answers - Can you change the font of the lock screen clock? Or can you change the clock out for other clock widgets?

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is my first post. I've had a Moto Droid since day one, and I just love it. It is without a doubt better than any phone that I've had over the years, and that includes the iPhone, BB, etc.
However, there are 2 things that I don't understand - Font size and a spell checker. It is imposiible to read the small font size in emails or text messages.
1. Why has there not been an app to either change the font size or be able to zoom in? Picasy has incorporated multi-touch for zooming, so I've to assume that its doable! Why not have the same in an email client.
2. Why is there not an email client out there that allows for spell checking? There are many such apps for the BB! I am a terrible speller.
I am not complaining, I just want to understand the limitations from a developers prospective, as I am sure these isuues will eventually be addressed.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to get GLUtils.texImage2D to use my full RGBA (A=my alpha component).
I've tried doing setEGLConfigChooser(8, 8, 8, 8, 0, 0); getHolder().setFormat(PixelFormat.RGBA_8888);
I've tried converting the source image (.png in ARGB) to RGBA.. which works ok for the ordering of data before texImage2D, but when it draws, it draws yellow where it should be "transparent white"... which suggests it's diminishing the "B"(blue) component instead of the A(alpha) component. But the same thing happens when I just use the orignal ARGB data instead ("B" diminishes instead of "A", leaving yellow).
