HTC EVO 4G :: Way To Transfer Digital Copy Movies Onto Phone?
Nov 6, 2010I just read through a bunch of treads but still need to know if there is really no easy way to transfer digital copy movies onto the evo 4g. I downloaded doubletwist but it seems like all the digital copies cannot be copied. is there really no easy way to do this unless i have an ipod or iphone. Seems kinda dumb to me

Jul 28, 2010so I went to sync my movies using the V Cast Media manager and it told me I could not copy my "digital copy" movies to the phone. Does anyone know how to get them to the phone to play? I can move them over using simple file manager (not the V Cast Media manager), however they still will not play. Anyone else able to get this to work? These are my ligit digital copys of the movie, so I don't know why it will not work.

Jun 17, 2010I have about 10 digital download movies that came with my blu-rays but at the time I had my iPhone so I never thought about it. Well, I'm a MAC guy and I downloaded them in iTunes which was perfect having an iPhone. But now with getting my EVO is there a way to get those Downloads to work on the EVO? Or is it DRM'd only for Apple devices? And in the future is there a way to download them without iTunes on a MAC?

Aug 19, 2010I'm creating an currency exchange rate application to learn Android. The app will list all exchange rate in a list, each of them has the layout like this (in essential) code...
To list exchange rate for all currencies I have the following approach:
- Design the layout for one currency (let's choose EUR as first currency)
- Generate the layout for all other currencies automatically by:
1. Copy all properties of the EUR-layout into the new currency layout
2. Modify some properties of new currency layout like: ID, Rates ...
3. Repeat steps 1,2 for all sub-layout of the new currency layout
But I don't know how to code step 1, so I did a lot of google about: "android copy view" "android copy properties" "android copy view" "android clone view" "java clone object" .... but still no solution.
So, my question is: how to copy all properties of a view ?

Oct 28, 2009CursorAdapter is great, i'm a big fan. I notice that both newView() and bindView() are passed Cursors, indicating that extracting stuff from the Cursor and sticking it in the view should happen inside those overrides.
however in the source for CursorAdapter.getView() i see that bindView() gets called whether the view is recycled or not. in the new view case, this causes a redundant Cursor to View copy.
IMHO, CursorAdapter should call newView() if the view couldn't be recycled, or bindView() if it could.

May 14, 2010Smartphone noob here, I can't seem to view movies sent to me via Hotmail from my daughter's iPhone. Any idea how to fix this?
Plus, when she sends me pics of my grandson I can't view these either.

Oct 28, 2010I am not able to view MP4, AVI movies i have on my phone (Transferred from my PC). What file types can Samsung I7500 play or is there anything i am not doing correctly? The file size is around 700 to 900 MB. I am able to view the video recorded using the same phone though. I have the original firmware on my phone that came with it.

Apr 6, 2010I'm looking for a small world clock digital clock widget that I can put on my home screen that would take 1-2 icon slots. In particular, it needs to be a world clock (ie: not the normal time on your phone, configurable to some other time), it needs to be a digital clock, and it would help if it supported military time format. I'd also like it to be smallish, in that it takes no more than 2 icon slots on my screen. I have a Milestone and for some ungodly reason we have all this empty space around icons in a 4x4 screen. Any help would be appreciated. The world clock on my phone is a regular dial-style analog clock, looks like it takes 2x2 icon slots, and is difficult to read. Plus, being analog, there's no way to tell AM/PM.

The first will will be symmetric (AES) and will encrypt the license data and the second will be a asymmetric (RSA) an will encrypt the symmetric key. Can someone give me pointers on the best methods to use for Android.
For the public/private keys I am using: "RSA/ECB/PKCS1Padding"(I head ECB is bad so what should I use?, what about the PKCS1Padding - shoudl I be using PKCS5Padding?)
For the symetric keys I will probably use: "AES/?/?" (What mode and padding should I use?)
The provider: "BC"
RSA Keysize: 1024 (I tried 2048 but it didn't work for some reason)
AES Keysize: ?
