i've just bought a xperia x10 mini pro. after reading the entire user guide, i still can't find the "counter" for total outgoing call time and outgoing sms. Anyone knows where to find this in the phone? previously when i was just W910i, this function was easily located. Someone pls advise and provide some guidance.

Each node has some attributes that actually hold the data of the file. I need a very quick way to count the number of each type of element, (List and Note). Lists is simply the root and doesn't matter.
I can do this with a simple string search or something similar, but I need to make this as fast as possible.
Design Parameters:
Must be in java (Android application).
Must AVOID allocating memory as much as possible.
Must return the total number of Note elements and the number of List elements in the file, regardless of location in file.
Number of Lists will typically be small (1-4), and number of notes can potentially be very large (upwards of 1000, typically 100) per file.
Is it possible to disable SMS received and send notification in status bar ??
What is the procedure to do this ?
Need to know this so that i could send DTMF and that is going to be my second question!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've only seen this mentioned once or twice but one thing that annoys me with the update is the character number that's displayed when typing a text. Why did they have to put a black box counter right in the messaging window when typing in portrait mode? After creating a message, that box covers part of the last word in the first line. And when flipping it to landscape the character box disappears!!?! I shouldn't have to turn the phone to read back what I just typed.The concept of displaying the amount of characters left is a welcome feature but the execution is really poor. I would think it would be obvious to place it in another area outside of the field that you're actually interacting with.

I cannot get the unread email count to clear from the stock HTC email app. I have two exchange accounts set up and after I read the mail, whatever the unread count was just prior to my reading it sticks. It stays there until the next time I get email and then the new count stays there.

The Droid is my first smartphone. Before it I was texting with the dialpad, and the phone would count down how many letters I have left (out of 160, the text msg length). Using the "messaging" icon on the Droid it never says when I'm approaching the text message limit. So is this "messaging" icon really like an instant messenger? It's not GTalk, that's another icon. If I send a 250 character txt message through the "messaging" app, does it get broken into 2 messages for the receiver?

I have the option selected in LP to show me how many new texts I have, but since I put on these new custom icons, the red bubble isn't coming up in my dock. How do I fix this?

(I don't know why there isn't a website where I can see all the apps available, why must you do it from your handset only?). And either way, does the notification count as a text message? -all missed calls
-voicemails
-facebook msgs
-texts
-email
Is there an app for this? or a way to do it i'm missing? search resulted in unadressed topics.
About once a week I need to do a battery pull on my DROID because both incoming and outgoing calls are silent. I'm not sure if the caller on the other end can hear me or not.In the meantime, I've switched my vocoder options back to the factory default to see if maybe that helps. Really, it's a shot in the dark, but it's a start.

(in the market)It lets you call from your contact list and then calls through your GV number making the call totally free. If you have your GV number in your free 10 numbers.It shows the person your calling your GV number. What happens is I will dial a number and press send, then something will pop up asking me if I want to make the call with GV or without GV. I choose WITH GV and it will start out okay, but after 5 seconds it goes back to the normal call screen and calls regularly with out GV. Is there anyone who can help me out with this? View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering if anybody else has experienced this issue. It doesn't happen all of the time, and I can't seem to reproduce it. It only started recently - within the last few days.
On some calls, after talking for a minute or so, the person on the other end will just not be able to hear me anymore. The call is still connected, and I can hear them just fine, but I end up having to disconnect and call them back due to the strange muting problem.
Anyone else experience this lately? I haven't installed any new apps recently - minus updates - so I'm not sure it's an app conflict. Just trying to pinpoint the issue and see if I'm the only one.

But, when on the home screen, if i click the "+" sign and "add widget" it's listed there.Is there a reason I can't see it unless I want to add it to my home page or is this a problem with my phone? Also, is there a place to see a complete list of my WIDGETS being that they're not listed in the "all programs" list?Lastly, I see alot of people post a white box picture with black stuff in it, as if to scan it somehow. What is this and why and how would I scan it?
