i've just bought a xperia x10 mini pro. after reading the entire user guide, i still can't find the "counter" for total outgoing call time and outgoing sms. Anyone knows where to find this in the phone? previously when i was just W910i, this function was easily located. Someone pls advise and provide some guidance.

Now I write one app and have some problem - I need to show real-time outgoing call duration. But I do not know when I should start timer. I must start when get answer from other side. I tried TelephonyManager.EXTRA_STATE_OFFHOOK -- but it's state is when I press call-button..
OFFHOOK is the state when call is placed.
So we should be notified when the call is received. How can we get that?
When I should start count outgoing time?
I received my new x10 mini phone a few days ago and am really impressed by it.
But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.
I have installed various call recorder apps TotalRecall, VirtualRecorder, Voice2do, NoteEverything, Qmemo... but none of them record the sound of the person on the other side of the line. Can someone tell me which call recorder work for Xperia X 10 mini pro?

I have a Google Calendar that is synchronised to both my Palm and now mu X10. I notice a strange "one hour shift" issue with my X10: every appointment after the Daylight Saving Time is shifted from one hour on the X10. I figure that this is related to the way the X10 handle the daylight saving: the automatic setting for the time zone is GMT+02:00:HMG+2:00 whereas Google calendar says correctly that Paris is on the GMt+01:00 with a one hour shift due to summer time. Is there a way to fix this issue that prevent me from using the agenda?

The easiest and most logical way to end a call is to press the top lock screen/power button. I recommended this phone to someone and they got a massive shock when they realised they had an active call going for over 8 hours! Could you please add this feature in your next update, if not could you at least have a visual clue to let the user know that they have an active call when the screen is off, eg notification light blinking purple or something.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an Eris and my recent call log on my phone displays my outgoing calls as Unknown even if they are saved in my Google contacts. I have the outgoing calls set to go through GV option selected on the phone and I'm not sure what's going on. The contact is displayed for a second and then reverts to Unknown. When I add the unknown number to my existing contacts it works and displays properly, but when I call the same number back from my contact list, it shows up as unknown. My incoming calls and missed calls all show up with the proper contact info, so it seems to just be a problem with my outgoing calls. Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix this?

But people this X10 Mini Pro is a wonderful device. I had to get used too it. But now after two weeks fine tuning the phone I am very happy with it. I would get outgoing call duration a call, I thought to get when the persone to the other side answer my call, but with PhoneStateListener we can get the state of a call, but PhoneStateListener changes state to CALL_STATE_OFFHOOK immediately when the outgoing call starts and not when the person to other side answers, so i can't get the effective time of call during a conversation.
