Dolphin browser app downloaded ok, but opened with the usual Google browser window, and a message "location not found". I would like to try this mainly for downloading you tube videos.

I have the default home page for the app, and let's say for example I start to type facebook. Under where I type it comes up with the usual predictions, like facebook login, facebook news, etc. But the top one is usually a link to the exact URL (in this case to facebook) but whenever I click one of those links, I get a page that says:
"Server Error
404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."
Is there anyway to get these links to work? Or get rid of them all together so I don't accidentally click them.
For the record, I have already restarted my phone several times, and even taken the battery out to be sure. Anyhow, I have upgraded to Froyo 2.2 and after that update, I updated my Dolphin Browser. I have Google as my homepage, and now, every single time I open Dolphin, and it goes to Google, I get a popup from Google saying it wants permission to know my location. I have made sure the green check mark is checked, that indicates it wants to remember this action. Yet every time I log on, it asks me for my location each and every time.

I use ringroid to organize my ringtones, but I can't get the files I downloaded through scope to show up in ringroid. I know it is a stupid question, but I'm not phone savvy so if anyone knows how to move these downloads to the proper location to use as ringtones.

So as Dolphin users, we have more choices now. Personally I prefer the red one because I like strawberry very much. Looks very sweet. There are tabs that come out if you sidescroll preventing me from sidescrolling the page also preventing me from selecting text. Anyone know how to disable or work around this?

But at times I want to use the Stock Browser, I'll just open up "Internet" but when I get there and click on a link from within the Stock Browser, it'll open it up and move me to Dolphin. I pretty much want to say "Hey, if I open up the Stock Browser, I want to use it but otherwise use Dolphin for everything else".

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just did a backup/factory reset/restore and I used my backup. It didn't backup my dolphin browser I lost the app completely along with my bookmarks. It didn't restore my more widgets app. My ringtone and notification sound were all wrong. It didn't restore my handcent settings. I an very disappointed in this app. I was expecting it to be just like before the rest by the way people talk about it like its a godsend. All it did was put a few apps back on my phone. Plus it took forever to do what little it actually did! I could have done that in the same amount of time by me just by writing down the app names!

Well i love the browser itself, but I tried downloading a ringtone from myxer.com and it says it cant finish downloading because i need to clear space on my phone. I have my Dolphin bookmarks set to sync with my Google account. When I tell it to sync, I don't receive any errors. It tells me downloading bookmarks / uploading bookmarks.
However, when I go to my Google bookmarks, I don't see anything. I am going here:

Installed Dolphin Browser on My Hero. All fine until today. Now when I search for anything using Google Search, (which is the homepage), it returns me to the Homepage with no results!

2. This is a big one for me and will delete it if I cannot get it to work. With the stock browser, it was easy sharing pics from the web with one click. With Dolphin, I cannot long hold a picture and hit "Share". There's just a View and Save option. So to send to someone, I have to save it, and then send it. Just extra steps I do not want to take and I do not want to pile up a bunch of un needed pics.
