Android :: How To Use Stock Browser When Dolphin Set As Default?

I've set Dolphin to be my default browser that way when I open links from emails and such it'll use Dolphin. But at times I want to use the Stock Browser, I'll just open up "Internet" but when I get there and click on a link from within the Stock Browser, it'll open it up and move me to Dolphin. I pretty much want to say "Hey, if I open up the Stock Browser, I want to use it but otherwise use Dolphin for everything else".

So I just got the HTC Evo yesterday and I've just been playing around with it. I just downloaded the free version of HD Dolphin because I wanted to try it. The thing is I can't figure out how to use it or set it as my browser. I can't even find it on my applications, but it says that it's installed when I go to the Market. And I tried to go to Settings Applications. But then I couldn't find anything on changing the default settings.

In the Dolphin Browser, I clicked on a YouTube link and a "Complete Action Using" dialog box thing popped up. It gave the option of viewing the video in a browser or in the native YouTube app. There was also a "Make this action default" checkbox at the bottom. I accidentally checked that box and chose the browser, not the YouTube app. Is there a way to revise this default action?

I have a Evo4G with Sense, and included is this really fantastic widget that displays all of my bookmarks as a full panel on Sense. It scrolls, has more than 6 bookmarks, just great stuff.
Well recently I discovered DolphinHD, and want to commit fully to the browser, however, I lose the functionality of my widget because it points to where the stock browser saves bookmarks.
So my question is this, can I re-point said widget, or is there another widget available on the market with the same functionality (I think the answer is no), or is there someway to use dolphin to manage/save bookmarks in the same location as the stock browser?

Is anyone else having trouble setting a default browser? I'm trying to set Dolphin as the default, but every single time I launch it, I get the dialog:
"Dolphin is not currently set as default browser. would you like to make it as default browser?
I click "OK", but if I kill the process, next time I launch, it asks me again. Also, if I check "Set as default browser" is the settings, that only lasts until the next time I open the settings (when it magically appears unchecked again). I believe I also had a very similar experience when I tried Browser and 1nternet.

How many people will switch to the dolphin browser over the default one that comes on the phone. Now that the dolphin has pinch to zoom think I gonna change over to it. Anyone have pros and cons?

Anyone going back to stock, now that it has pinch zoom? I think I am unless someone knows why Dolphin is still better. I don't see anything up front. When will stock sync with Crome?

I set Dolphin as my default browser. If I use the Google search widget, it opens up the stock browser, then if I click a link, it opens the link in Dolphin. How can I make the search default to Dolphin? What is the pay version of Dolphin and is it worth it?

I have loaded the Dolphin browser as my default browser and the google homepage is stuck in Spanish. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times and nothing changes. The only way to view it in english is to scroll down to the bottom of the google homepage and press "Google.com in in English". Once I close the browser and come back its back in Spanish. Any ideas or suggestions?

Has anyone found a way to eliminate the default zoom? There should be a setting to turn it off, but I cant find it...what is the point of it when there is pinch-zoom?

Anyone else have the problem of their bookmarks in the stock browser reverting back to the default ones? Twice in the last week I have lost all of my bookmarks on a phone power off and back on - I did not go in and clear any data or cache in the browser.

I have installed Dolphin and like it, and I've made it my default browser, which is great. However, it is not only the system default, but it even opens links I click on in the Android provided browser (sometimes I both open). On your computer, when you click links in your non-default browser it doesn't send the links to the default one, and it shouldn't on this OS, either. Any ideas how to keep Dolphin as my system default browser, but not have it open links I click on in the Android web browser?

I have visited Dolphin Browsers facebook today and discovered 3 new themes now available for Dolphin Browser HD on Android Market. I have tried each one, very simple ones. So as Dolphin users, we have more choices now. Personally I prefer the red one because I like strawberry very much. Looks very sweet. I thought I would try 'Dolphin' and on the whole like it, just a matter if getting used to it. Is there a way that I can still use the default 'Bookmarks' as I Luv that widget rather then having to keep going into 'Home' in 'Dolphin' to find my bookmarks. I see that we can import bookmarks from default browser to Dolphin but not the other way. Maybe I am missing something but if anybody can show me a way so that I can continue using my default bookmarks widget using 'Dolphin'

First off let me say that of all browsers I've tried so far. This is by far my favorite. Except one really annoying thing which keeps me from using it. There are tabs that come out if you sidescroll preventing me from sidescrolling the page also preventing me from selecting text. Anyone know how to disable or work around this?

In the agreement of the Dolphin Browser HD, it states that Dolphin will collect data about the user in something called user experience analytics.I've been trying to find information about this, to no avail. I've searched everywhere.Has anyone read this agreement?Can anyone give me information about what they collect? It seems very open statement, in which they could practically take anything.

After about a day of using dolphin hd I think I'm noticing extra lag in just about everything. Especially switching apps and loading the home screen. My keyboard has lagged a few times too. Ive got a fascinate with launcher pro plus. Anyone else seeing this? What can I do other than uninstall?

How do you open a link in a new tab when using the dolphin browser? I assumed long pressing the link would bring up an option but it does not, unless its just mine. I am running 2.0.1 on droid if it makes a difference.

I just did a backup/factory reset/restore and I used my backup. It didn't backup my dolphin browser I lost the app completely along with my bookmarks. It didn't restore my more widgets app. My ringtone and notification sound were all wrong. It didn't restore my handcent settings. I an very disappointed in this app. I was expecting it to be just like before the rest by the way people talk about it like its a godsend. All it did was put a few apps back on my phone. Plus it took forever to do what little it actually did! I could have done that in the same amount of time by me just by writing down the app names!
