HTC EVO 4G :: Can't Find A Way To Make LP My Default Launcher
Sep 9, 2010I don't know if this is the right forum for my questions, but I'm sure this will be appropriately moved if it's not. I rooted my EVO and flashed a ROM that has Launcher Pro installed. While I was playing with the phone I chose for the default launcher to be used. I'd like to change that now and can't find a way to make LP my default launcher.
Second, I'm not 100% sure about this, but I believe that most or all of the Sense widgets cannot be used while LP is being used. If that's the case, are there alternatives to the bookmarks widget and the Friend Stream widget?
And lastly, can anyone confirm that the EVO has LED colors other than red/orange and green? Those are the only two I've seen.

Sep 24, 2010Sometimes, I see an application on androlib.com, or androidzoom.com that I want to install on my phone. However, I can not find it on Market, I even tried with QR Code, but still come out with a result "not found". why? is it because that app doesn't support my phone? Example, right now, I can not find LiquiDroid on my HTC Wildfire

Oct 31, 2010I use a file browser to locate the APK, it installs successful and I can run it OK (when clicking "run" after install completes) However, if I then exit the application, I'm unable to see a launcher for it on my apps menu (where I would expect it, like other apps I've created) At the moment, every time I want to run the app, I first have to re-install it so I can access it, surely there must be a better way?

Nov 19, 2009I have a new Droid Eris and have been having a really hard time finding apps that I read about in different places. I often find myself reviewing a very popular, top-rated app, then not being able to find it no matter how I search in the Market. These aren't usually obscure, ancient, one-off apps. I usually am hearing about them in 'top Android apps' articles, etc.
I usually search by the exact name, then alternate spellings. And I recently got the Barcode Scanner and am scanning the QR codes over at AndroLib.com to see if it's any easier. But I haven't gotten ANY of those to come up.
- What gives with the Android Market? Could I have something setup improperly?
I live in Los Angeles, so I doubt it's a location issue.

- Voice Trans
- Voice Text

Oct 20, 2010I've published an app today mainly for my forum users to use, just a very simple app that displays wallpapers derived from the forum. Problem I'm having is one guy says it doesn't appear in the market and I've even sent him the APK to install manually but it fails. My minimum SDK version is 4, I created it with the 1.6 SDK specified so not sure why he can't see it or install it. He has a 1.6 Magic handset. So just wondering if anyone has any ideas, the app is called bocn wallpaper, it uses internet and set-wallpaper permissions but I wouldn't have thought the permissions were the problem.
