Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Turned Off Text Delivery Reports

Today i update to new software ....on the old software i had turned OFF text delivery reports using the followingmethod as described in user guide
1.home scrween drag upwards
2.find tap settings > sony erricson > messaging
3.tap delivery report to turn on / off delivery report
With new software the is no messaging pick under sony erricson How do i know the feature is oFF ? ..i don't need it and it costs money !! ALSO why isn't there a new user guide for the new sortware ?

I cant get the delivery reports to work, I have found the settings, press menu in message screen-settings. It is checked but I never get any delivery reports.

I have just found out that i have the sms delivery receipt turned on on my phone and i am being charged for it everytime i send a text.? Ive tried reading my manual but not getting anywhere, im hopeless with technology

When I got the phone I had to turn off the SMS delivery receipts due to getting charged for each one.....I did the upgrade yesterday and now its turned back on again.....I cant find the Phone's message settings. in the right direction? I have a X10 mini pro.

I'm curious on this one. On my old Voyager I was able to get delivery reports with a check mark in my sent items folder, so I knew if my tm went through. Today I was told that someone was not getting my texts, which was a problem on there end, since I was able to send and receive to others without issue. So I was curious, and found a setting in the stock messaging app to enable delivery reports. It works, however it just displays a little envelope with a green exclamation point in it.
This is cool and all, however I get that same icon for both successful deliveries and to ones that show up as "Pending" when I view the report. So I was wondering if this is normal for Android phones, or if there is an app I can use to get a better icon/report for delivered texts.

How do I see my sent box, inbox etc. All I see on the home screen is in the top left corner an envelope I can press to compile a text messge. Where is my inbox, sent box etc?Also how do I delete a draft message? Cant see a delete option anywhere?

I have given up on trying to find the answer to this ridiculously basic question in the User Guide. (I must not be using the keywords that the user guide understands!) I was billed for sending a text message to a swedish phone number...........Searching the internet I found out that many people experience that their Sony Ericsson phones, by themselves, send text messages to a phone number belonging to Sony Ericsson, Sweden.

I cannot find out how to increase the text messaging validity on my phone. If I send a txt to someone who has no signal or phone is turned off I get a message failed delivery report. In my past sony ericsson phones there is a setting you can change so it will try to send for a longer period of time, It is usually found in the text settings but on the x10 mini pro I can't find it anywhere.

My Xperia now 8 days old. Its an upgrade from 3. Its proving to be the worse phone I have ever had!! The battery life is terrible, fully charged yet went off half way through my shift? What I am have been having major problems with and cant figure it out for the life of me is how to forward a text and delete a draft message? I just cant figure it out! Forward a message? how do I access the names or the phonebook? theres always only the contact that sent me the text in the first place or one i use frequently. and i have a draft i cant get rid of unless i send the **** thing. this phone is so frustrating to me because texting and facebook are my main objectives when purchasing a phone. facebook: when i tap on notifications it tells me constantly there is an error. now i told the salesman in the shop what the main uses of my mobile are and so far I am extremely disappointed with this mobile phone, i have been mis-sold! Can someone please put me out my misery so I can appreciate this little phone a bit more!

Liking my new phone and feeling quite happy about the small format.
Though I've found a lack in my or the phones abilities:
How do I attach a contact to a text message or an email?
I'm using Roadsync email
How I do it now is: Navigating to the contact I would like to forward, edit it, mark and copy the phone number, paste it into a text/email, write the name of the contact and press send.
Features I also would like to see in the future:
Have the Roadsync application use the "Full Name" field instead of the "File As" field, when syncing contacts with MS-Exchange.

After updating to 2.1 Iīm having some trouble with the SE text messaging program!
Before it was easy to highlight a typed word, double tap on the word, and then respell it or change the capitols. Now itīs very difficult to make that action happen and I find it easier just deleting the word and spell it again.
This is, for me anyway, less user-friendly than the 1.6 version! Iīm hoping that this will be solved in future updates or if anyone of you experts out there have a solution. Changing to other programs as "handsent sms" is not a solution for me!

I have searched for hours after a solution to get delivery reports for sms in my Xperia X8. What I understand there is no way to get proper delivery reports, that is a report AFTER the message has been delivered to the recipent. I have used several sms apps like Handcent and in this program I choosed the alternative "report when the sms has reached the recipent". No delivery report was shown. I sent an sms to my older phone, the sms was receieved but no delivery report was shown. In my older W595 this was no problem and I use the same SIM card and same telephone number.
Is the Xperia X8 such a lousy phone and the developers such amateurs that they didnīt include such a simple function in a mobile launched in 2010? Hoping for some tips! Perhaps there is an app that fixes the problem?

When I click on the touch screen to make a call and want to quickly find a name in the contacts I have to type in the name onle letter (and a few presses) at a time or open the keyboard. I can't select the 'quick text' option.

I received my new x10 mini phone a few days ago and am really impressed by it.
But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.
