Just updated to 2.1-update1.
In the phonebook now we get the option of "Send Contact". I tried it using "messaging". But I get the below error:
"Content cannot be added to the message"
Is this (sending contact through messaging) working fine for you guys?

I cannot find out how to increase the text messaging validity on my phone. If I send a txt to someone who has no signal or phone is turned off I get a message failed delivery report. In my past sony ericsson phones there is a setting you can change so it will try to send for a longer period of time, It is usually found in the text settings but on the x10 mini pro I can't find it anywhere.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia now 8 days old. Its an upgrade from 3. Its proving to be the worse phone I have ever had!! The battery life is terrible, fully charged yet went off half way through my shift? What I am have been having major problems with and cant figure it out for the life of me is how to forward a text and delete a draft message? I just cant figure it out! Forward a message? how do I access the names or the phonebook? theres always only the contact that sent me the text in the first place or one i use frequently. and i have a draft i cant get rid of unless i send the **** thing. this phone is so frustrating to me because texting and facebook are my main objectives when purchasing a phone. facebook: when i tap on notifications it tells me constantly there is an error. now i told the salesman in the shop what the main uses of my mobile are and so far I am extremely disappointed with this mobile phone, i have been mis-sold! Can someone please put me out my misery so I can appreciate this little phone a bit more!

How do I attach a contact to a text message or an email?
I'm using Roadsync email
How I do it now is: Navigating to the contact I would like to forward, edit it, mark and copy the phone number, paste it into a text/email, write the name of the contact and press send.
Features I also would like to see in the future:
Have the Roadsync application use the "Full Name" field instead of the "File As" field, when syncing contacts with MS-Exchange.
Please is it possible for me to browse the internet on my pc using my sonyericsson xperia x10 mini pro. Dont know how cause the phone doesnt support Pc suite, only Pc companion, and hence I dont know how else to do it.

But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHave owned an xperia mini pro for about 2 weeks now. It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.
Anytime I add a contact detail via the handset if I let it sync, either via Google or SE, the contact will be wiped which is pretty useless (basically I cannot add new contacts on the handset, preposterous!). I contacted SE help, they recommended I use the software update program to update the handset software. I have done this but the update software tells me the handset is running the latest software, the problem persists.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI have just purchased the X10 this week and its all up to date with software however I am having major issues with phonebook. Whenever I try and add contacts to my favorites in phonebook they only stay there for a few seconds before they vanish. When viewing call log if I try and save a number by adding a contact again this will do it for only a few seconds and then just delete the contact.
Facebook links on the contacts aren't coming through and painfully slow to link all the address book up. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it? I have downloaded a different version of phonebook but I didn't think it looked as good as the default and want to make the normal one work.

I have 2 very good headsets at the moment from previous phones but unfortuneately my mini pro cannot find them.

Facebook,gmail,gtalk,android market,youtube etc. dont work at all..Each of them gives an error that you dont have an active connection! All of the above does open via the normal browser on mini pro..but not through these builtin apps!
