what apps are worth downloading from "market"? i realise it depends on what one requires however i'm sure some can be universal to all users. best free apps, best paid apps.

But i never managed to sync the phone with the pc so i can install directly from the internet or to download some apps.

Then it stops and I've got to restart it again?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden apps stopped being able to be downloaded or updated from the market place. They just stay on the 'starting download...' status which is rather irritating. I've tried clearing cache and resetting the market and know i've a master reset as a last chance option but has anyone any ideas before I do this?

Here is what I do:
I select the app I want from Market and select 'Install'
Then I select 'ok'
Then a blue box reads 'Your item will be downloaded'
When I go into the Downloads section, the status bar isnt doing anything and it reads 'starting download' below it.
But nothing ever downloads or even partially downloads.
have had my mini pro for 2 days, had no problems but now it doesn't download any apps, message comes up as normal that it will be downloaded but nothing there.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone a few days ago to remove all the useless apps that the phone comes with. I basically got ride of a code reader, some stupid games, and a bunch of "trial version" applications. I just noticed now that I can't download apps from the Android Market anymore, and this is probably what caused it. Everything else on my phone still works perfectly. When I try to download an app from the Android Market, I select the app to be downloaded, press "Install", then press "OK" when it gives me the list of what the app has access to. Once I press "OK" a popup appears that says "Your Item Will be Downloaded". That's it. Nothing appears in the notification bar, and the download doesn't go at all. So I guess my question is. what would I have deleted to cause this problem? I unrooted my phone again since. Maybe a google app or something? And if so, I need the APK for it! Yeah, yeah I was an idiot, I know. Don't mention it. Here's what I've tried so far after searching this issue: - Cleared the cache and updates for all Google-related apps
