Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: How To Create A Playlist
Jun 24, 2010I didn't know that the phone doesn't allow you to create playlist within the phone itself. However I do know that you can create playlist with media go.
But my question is that. How can you bring the playlist from media go into the Xperia X10?
I create a new playlist using media go, but it only stays on library, and when I transfer whole playlist music into Xperia. only musics are transfer.. not the playlist.

Jul 27, 2010I've never used the wifi hotspot feature on my EVO, but it seems pretty simple as to how it works... What I'm wondering is if it functions like a typical wireless router. Specifically, does it create a LAN network between connects peers? I'm wondering if it would be at all possible to do something like play (low bandwith) multiplayer LAN games over the EVO's wifi hotspot?

Oct 11, 2010My wife convinced me to get an xperia X10 because she loves hers so much. My previous phone was a Palm Centroid and I needed a new phone because the power button was very difficult to activate. On my Sandro, I was able to create a personal apps folder of the apps I use the most. The Quick Start guide that came with my phone has two pages explaining basic functions. One box shows being able to Move/Delete Icons, but it only shows how to delete them. Use the long Touvh to move it to the trash can icon. But I don't want to delete them, I want to move or copy them to a personal apps folder.

Aug 4, 2010I have a wireless network with a linksys router. I am unable to connect to the network with my x10 at all. The phone sees my network, the wep is correct and it say's it's obtaining an ip address but then it says unsuccessful and starts the whole process again.

Aug 21, 2010I have set up the phone to connect to my home wifi connection and it does this just fine. Once connected I can do everything I wan't. Upload, download, browse and so on.But after a while, once the phone has been asleep, the wifi connection is dropped and the phone drops back onto the cellular data connection. The problem is that once it has done this, the only way to reconnect to the wifi is to switch off wifi and switch it back on again at which point it works fine again until next time it goes to sleep.I have checked the wifi sleep settings etc and this does not help so any clues? How can I persuade this phone to connect to wifi when it's available. Likewise, my other phone (a HTC Desire) will always connect to the wifi if it is in range so I am happy that this is a phone specific issue.

Aug 3, 2010My X10i keeps dropping its WiFi conection. It is in an "excellent" signal strength area. I can now see that is related to my poor mobile network coverage at home. When the mobile network signal drops, then the WiFi turns off and the turns on again, scans and reconnects. When the mobile network connects again (after a minute or two) the WiFi turns off, then on again, scans and reconnects. This cycling is happening every minute or two. Which leads to lots of frustrating network errors. Things improve if I turn off 3G and set network to GSM only.

Oct 15, 2010Having given it much thought I decided against rooting until the updates are out and XDA have sorted out a new 2.1 root for us which meant Barnacle was out for me at present so I have just installed PdaNet on my phone and netbook.
OMG I'm so over excited by it. I am typing this on my netbook using my phone. Yeah so I need to get a life, but I am in de-mob happy mode and the thought that I may be able to use my phone for wifi whilst away has really pleased me. It couldn't have been more simple. Download on my netbook, (had already downloaded it from market on my phone) and follow the on screen instructions.
Anyway it seems to be working pretty well, so just wondered if anyone had had any negative effect using it other than it maybe using up battery power and eating into my 3 gig of data for the month?

Oct 16, 2010I think this problem arose after I purchased 'Extended Controls'. I turn off wifi (doesn't matter if I use extended controls or not) and the APN Control turns itself on, really quite annoying! Is there any way to fix this? I can't seem to find a way to adjust my wireless settings so that it will allow me to enter the information. It only lets me enter password information. Nov 9, 2010I have been doing a lot of browsing of sites such as youtube on my phone. I thought this was all happening via the wifi connection to my home network, however I have discovered it has been doing it from 3G as well, since it has eaten up a lot of money on my phone.
The question is how do I enable Internet browsing on wifi as default (when wifi connections are present) rather than through 3G?
This is really important since it seems to have cost me a fortune, when I could have been browsing for free at home. I have the X10mini pro and am running Android 2.1
