Specifically i am looking for something that can compress a photo / picture to a small enough size that it can be emailed / MMS'd.

Apr 6, 2010This is silly and I must be missing something! Go to "edit" in contacts, then press on the 'blank' picture, which takes you to the "add picture" window. However, I'm just presented with 8 silhouettes of face graphics as available "pictures" to choose from. No obvious way to go into a folder where my images are stored. So easy on my old Hero; I must be doing something wrong on this X10.

Nov 7, 2010My Xperia mini makes a double set of each picture. It doesn't happened right away, but after a while I have a smaller version of each picture on my phone. I couldn't find an answer in the manual. Is there a setting, where I can turn it of? It's quite annoying.

Sep 27, 2010Anyone know how to get small thumbnail pictures of your contacts on your homepage? like the ones you call often. right now its just the little default contact card with the name . HTC Dream was able to show the pictures but not xperia. weird. also while im posting might as well save threads and ask here lol....
I tried playing an MkV video file.. But its very choppy and slo-mo kind of. tried using Xandplayer and something else. no help. is there a best above all media player for x10? i had a VLC player for my old HTC dream that worked fine. I would love to watch my sitcom episodes on my phone.

Nov 16, 2010Why is the camera on the X10 being advertised as so good? It's clumsy, slow and awkward to use. No flash and pictures can be very difficult to take with blurring happening more times than not. One of the main reasons I choose the X10 over other devices was the promise of a brilliant camera. Sony Ericsson, can you give us any information on future updates to the camera, eg wil we ever get the flash that you promised in a 'future update' and will you ever increase the screen colours? HD video recording is a great start (I'm yet to try it out as the update isn't available to me yet), but please bring the camera up to the quality I've experienced with previous SE devices

Nov 16, 2010so im blasted pissed i lost all my pictures, and my setting for my ringtones. I didn't do nothing i just woke up and they were gone. I haven't done the update so i idk wt* happened

Nov 14, 2010I have seen other peoples having same prob in other forums but no ones been able to find a solution though. In 1.6 it used to be blurry too unless you added them via mediascape. Tried it all again on 2.1 and still blurry. Otehrwise the updates quite good except theres no FLASH!
