Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 : Picture From A MMS / "save It" In DCIM Folder?

Everything is in the title... How to extract a picture photo from a MMS ? Pressing screen on the picture only ask for 1) use for a contact 2) use for the screen picture. How can I "save it" in my DCIM folder ?
In french:
Quand je reçois une photo par MMS, j'ai le choix d'"afficher l'image".
Ensuite je peux "utiliser l'image comme fond d'écran" ou "utiliser l'image comme image du contact".
COMMENT suaver la photo tout simplement ?

I have a X10 mini and having a few problems. Could someone give me a good explanation on how to save pictures that I recieve in an MMS pic message? also then a good explanation ho to transfer the picture to my PC via bluetooth? I am struggling to get my phone to connect to my PC.

Im looking for sumthin that would when taking a picture, save a copy of it in the normal DCIM folder, BUT also save a copy in another subdirectory... so essentially ill have 2 of them. the current camera i take a picture, then have to go through my sd card with ES file explorer and copy/paste into the backup directory. ive heard good things about "my backup pro"... but what can i do wit hthis. if i used that app would it .zip folder all my media so i could essentially just take the zip off and put it onto the media hard drive in house.

is there a way to get a contacts picture to show their facebook picture in timescape. I have linked all my contacts with their facebook accounts but it still shows the default white picture. I dont want to have to go through and take pictures of all my contacts. that would just be silly.Apologies if this has been asked before or is a simple fix. I'm new to this smart phone malarchy

Under the add to home screen you can add folders to your home screen, is there anyway of renaming the folder? I cant figure out how and all I have is a folder of games with the folder name "folder"

I´v transfered some mp3 file to the phone for ringtones,sms and alarm tone. They have all worked until today. Then I check the files and notice that the folders they were in ,is totally gone ! I haven´t done anything regarding ringtones for the last 14 days as they worked. So have anyone experienced that also and is there a solution to prevent that ?

When taking photo's this weekend that involved zooming in i found that the picture taken was never in focus. I have enabled the image stabilizer function but still whenever i zoom at all it is blurred (not sharp). When taking a picture that didn't involve zooming the image is sharp as you would expect from the camera. Is anyone having this trouble or is it just a dodge phone/camera i have and should go back to my supplier and exchange it?

My wife convinced me to get an xperia X10 because she loves hers so much. My previous phone was a Palm Centroid and I needed a new phone because the power button was very difficult to activate. On my Sandro, I was able to create a personal apps folder of the apps I use the most. The Quick Start guide that came with my phone has two pages explaining basic functions. One box shows being able to Move/Delete Icons, but it only shows how to delete them. Use the long Touvh to move it to the trash can icon. But I don't want to delete them, I want to move or copy them to a personal apps folder.

I used Apps Organizer to create folders of related apps (like Games, Japanese, etc) to go on to my home screen. I rather like it. Just one irritation, to which I wonder if anyone has a solution. If I switch the phone off for any reason, when I switch it back on, the folders are all still on the home screen, with the icon I have attributed to the folder, but the names all change to 'Apps label'. I can't find any obvious solution, other than to delete the shortcuts and reintroduce them, but would be grateful for anyone's thoughts. If there is another similar application I could use in its place, that would be fine - I'm not especially attached to Apps Organizer, though I do like it other than the name thing.

Please can someone help me, I have just bought the X10 phone, it was original on voda phone network but has been unlocked so I can put my virgin Sim card in, when I try to send a picture message I get a message saying 'unable to send, message will be sent when service becomes available'. Does anyone know what I need to do.

Having some issues around the picture messaging: Android 2.1 Nordic x10i, just sayings "message cannot download" - I can send but I cannot receive. Rogers Wireless. Any ideas? I flashed my x10a to an x10i and manually entered in all the settings for Rogers:

Every time I set a picture to a contact, or change my home screen background I have to crop it. This wouldn't be so much an issue if the crop wasn't so destructive to the picture! Why can't I just use the whole picture? Why does the crop force me to cut out most of it?

I am wondering if there is a way to post a picture I took with my X10 to my facebook account. Someone had told me, all I needed to do was long touch it and a set of options would appear to let me do that. But I am not getting the list of options. Am I doing something wrong? I have had my mini pro for around 2months now, it is on o2. i have all the correct mms setting installed and yet i still can not send picture messages.i can recieve them fine..but CANT NOT SEND THEM.WHY, am actually debating about getting rid of this phone as i have tried everything and yet nothing works.
