Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Functionality To Change Position / Order Of Applications - Widgets?

From the standard home screen on the X10, when you drag your finger across to the left to open the screen to the right of the home page, is there any functionality to change the order and position of apps/widgets I have added.
The reason I ask is because when I add them, they are not aligned to each other and have been positioned pretty haphazardly, plus I'd like to be able to determine myself where each icon is placed.

Does anyone know how to change the sort order on the AddressBook? I want to sort off the Last Name, instead of the First Name as it does by default. I cannot find the option anywhere..

I have upgraded to android 2.1. I am unable to use sync functionality. Even when the connection is perfect and also the user login details are correct, I am unable to sync the phone data with the online data and hence the error is being shown to check the account settings.

I just bought my xperia x10 mini pro. it comes with a lot of applications. Even games where the trial period has expired. I can't remove them at all. I can only remove those i install myself.

So I was blowing on my screen to blow off an eye lash and my messages widget was activated Anybody else experience this? I just traded my 3gs for this phone and boy do I miss my 3gs, it was much easier to use. Just when I though this was the worst phone possible, now this weird quirk Hopefully the 2.1 update will help with the crapiness of the keyboard and how leggy the phone really is.

When I move some widgets on my Home Screen, I've seen message: "The application Home screen (process com.sonyericsson.homescreen) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" Than I switch off x10 mini, but I've already still have this error.

I bought my xperia mini pro 2 weeks ago, and it never be able to install any applications.
There is no android market icon on home screen so i searched "android market" on internet and using internet browse version.
I can access android market (androidzoom?) and find applicatin, but it says " yo do not have permission to open this page. market://~~~(url)".
I can do nothing without applications...

As the title says my phone will no longer download from the market or update anything its weird as it was working OK last week ( don't use it to down load much) but now all I get is update or download unsuccessful please try again. Been trying this in different place so I don't think its the signal.

Does Anyone have an idea how to organize the applications on the flip up page. My LG Eve had it in groups and you could create your own, I would like to do something similar to my X10 if possible. On the applications screen, (the one which you drag up from the bottom of the home screen), is there any way to create folders there and re-organise the position of apps? I know that you can create folders on the home screens, but this isn't what I want to do. I would love to be able to create a folder that I can dump all of the programs I will never use but which Sony will not allow me to delete, (you know the ones - moxier etc!!)

Does any body else have a problem with windows and apps just shutting down or going BACK to the home screen on there own??? For me it mostly happens while browsing on the web window CLOSES and brings. Ba k to my home screen on its own I am running two diff app managers well...technicially 3 im positive it has something. To do with that.

The X10 is a superb phone, I'm loving it. However, one of my grips is some of the locked apps on the phone. I genuinely have no interest in certain locked apps - TrafficLive being the most notable. But going to Applications management I'm not given the option to delete, really frustrating. Is there any way of deleting these locked apps?

I bought a new sony ericsson x10 mini the other day and it is a fantastic phone. It is running in the Android system which is really good. The only thing that I can not figure our is that when I open up an application I don't know how to close them so I am left with multiples of Apps open at the same time. This seem to run the battery down really fast, but I can't seem to find any where or anybody that knows how to close the apps when I am finishes.

I have tried the task killer and that does not seem to stop the applications running. I find that everytime I open and application it I can not close it down it just runs in the background. I have tried force stop and that does not work so what is the answer?The more apps you have running the more it kills the battery life. Apple have released one for the iphone so I can not see it being a big problem to have one for the X10 users or I am missing a trick somewhere?

I asked this on XDA and no one has replied so far, so I'll give this a shot here. And I thought this was worthy of its own thread cuz I was pretty clueless on where to go.
Ok, so I deleted the following things from my phone using Titanium Backup.
- Korean and Danish keyboards
- Moxier Mail
- Face Recognition
- Creatouch
- User Guide + User Guide Client
- Play Now
- Setup Guide
- TrackID
- everything Timescape (8 files in total) *ok, this seems to have screwed up my camera photos and won't read my SD card pictures or the pictures I had taken (except for 2 photos in total). If anyone has the original 8 files and can hook them up PLUS TUTORIAL ON HOW TO REINSTALL THEM, then that would be AWESOME! For some odd reason, I backed the files in Ti Backup, but they aren't showing anymore...so a heads up for people backing the core default files, be careful what you delete. Or are they stored somewhere else that I'm unaware of?*
Also, I'm really looking to get rid of "Voice Dialer" and "Office Suite". Anyone know if removing it will screw up any function of the phone?

Well I've been playing with my playlists and now I have duplicate playlists but the duplicate ones are empty and there is no way of deleting them in the Phone interface that I can see. Any clues?
Also when I try to remove applications using the settings > application manager, none of them have delete or remove buttons...
