I'm still on Eclair and I installed the .apk for Flash 10.1 and it is working. It's choppy when playing video that requires full Flash support, but ads and such show the Flash content instead of the error icon.

I know the Samsung Epic is Adobe Flash compatible for that Lite version or whatever, but does it come stock and if not, how do i get it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just rooted my phone. I'm not new to rooting either. And when I was pulling up a file, I got this screen. Another interesting thing, is that we have a file called FlashSVGPlayer.apk embedded into the phone, and FlashPlugin.apk

FlashPlugin.apk is Pineone Flashlite Plugin.
but FlashSVGPlayer.apk is Adobe Flash Player.
Can anyone tell me if there's an app where I can get Flash player? I like to get to see my local weather videos and can't get it due to no adobe flash player? Will this be something we'll have with 2.1? If so I guess I could wait?
As for facebook? How do I get to alert me in pop-up format when I get a message or replied to in facebook? I tried in settings and can't seem to see anything that I can tab for it to pop-up? The only way is when I recieve an email update, and there it shows someone replied to you in facebook or requested you as a friend? Along with email? I would like to see that pop-up like my email, text, etc. but from facebook alone if possible.
Samsung Fascinate USB cable issue and Adobe flash player.I've got Verizon Samsung Fascinate a few days ago. I really like to phone but there are some things I can't figure out and their tech service wasn't able to answer my questions.First of all I couldn't figure out how to download my pictures from phone to my PC by using USB cable connection. I totally don't understand how USB works with it at all.Second thing, I was trying to watch some of my TV shows but I wasn't able to do so because requests to have adobe flash player. But couldn't manage to download. Is there another program I can use?If anyone has answers for me that would be great.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAll the new features sites said Flash 10 was part of Driod 2.2. 2.2 was pushed to my phone overnight and I installed it. However when I go to the Adobe Flash showcase, it says I don't have flash installed. So I search the market place and do not see flash as a download. Is this just something that will come later? I really don't read up on Driod all the time so I don't know all the news, just a regular user.

(among many other things) well i got the 2.1 update today and have to be honest was not super impressed, although i will say my web browsing experience has improved and the phone seems to be overall faster would still love to have adobe flash i guess thats the "golden question" does anyone know if my droid will ever get it?

So am now wondering if it is fully rooted or not or if anyone else is having problems moving to sd card, also am using the stock app manager to move them over.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow one of the biggest news about eclair coming out in 2010 is that support for Flash 10 (or ANY Flash for that matter) will be built into it. This does not appear to be the case for the fact that I download all the latest source code for Eclair, built and installed Eclair onto my development phone over the Christmas break and to my surprise/ disappointment there is absolutely no support for Flash when I try to view with the browser. I tried plugin's and searching for missing .apk installs for Flash but I found nothing. Unless I am missing something (i.e. maybe a side tree build for flash?) and if I did then I apologize but from what I can tell as of now the Eclair build does and will not support flash.
