I am looking for a nice photo album like the HTC Photo Album I had on my HTC Touch Pro 2. Any suggestions? Can't find anything on the market place that has good ratings.

Anyone know why I have missing album art? I previously used iTunes to load all the album art into the individual mp3s and now on the Droid, the majority of the album art is not present.

I recently downloaded MixZing and noticed that the art for the albums I copied from my laptop does not show up. However, the art for the files I downloaded through the phone, does show up. Also, all the album art does show up with the native music app - downloaded and copied. The album art for the copied files resides as jpg's in the same directory as the songs. I'm wondering if I need to copy them elsewhere. One other thing, unrelated, how do you stop a song? I can pause a song that's playing but can not find a way to just stop it altogether. This is a problem for native app and MixZing.

I use MediaMonkey to edit all of my mp3 files so that all my artist, album, year, track number, album art, etc is correct. Today I added an artist (Dub_Fx) with 2 albums and one single to my Droid; the single's album art showed, as well as one of the albums, but the other album's album art isn't showing at all, but I used the exact same method for all of the files. Each mp3 has an imbedded image file saved to the tag, each of them 350x350 images, and none of the mp3 files are protected either. Other programs on my computer show the album art correctly (and I've deleted the images from my computer, just to make sure they were saved to the tag and still show properly), but for some reason it won't show for that one album on the Droid's music player. I've even tried changing the album art to something else, copy over to the Droid, change the album art back, rewrite, and still nothing at all.

I just got a motorola droid and they transferred all my pictures from the old phone. I went back through the pics, named them and put them into albums. So far so good, simple. But I put some in the wrong albums and when I go to delete a pic from one album it deletes the pic from EVERY album and from the gallery entirely. Are they gone or can I retrieve them from somewhere and start over? How to just delete pics from only one album? or how to move them to a to a different album would work too.

My girlfriend made me several mix CD's for Christmas, and I'd very much prefer to just rip them to my Droid since I use that as my primary MP3 player now. The problem I'm having is that even though I place the ripped MP3's into a folder named as I want it to appear under artists, and then the subfolder named as I want the album to appear in the music player, once I go into the player on my Droid it just says "Unknown Artist" then "Unknown Album." I don't understand why it's doing this, because I have the folder named the way I want them to appear and it's not working, yet other music I downloaded in my music folder is correctly showing up on the player. To better illustrate what I mean: In my music folder on the SD card, I just added a folder "CD1" with the album "Album1" inside that, with the tracks inside that. INstead of on the player it being displayed as "CD1" under artist" and then "album 1" under the album drop down, it just says "Unknown Artist" and then "Unknown Album," but the tracks are there.

This is my second DX as my first was acting up and I remember that on my first DX all I did was drag the song title into the DCIM folder and everything would appear, music and artwork. On my second DX I did the same thing but no artwork this time around.I have lots of music and it would be nice to have the artwork come up

Okay, I know 5000 songs is a lot. It's not as much as the song count for anyone I know, but it's a lot nonetheless. However, it's still less than an iPod from 5 years ago could handle, so why is it too much for the Droid? Every time I try "syncing" my library (read: Copying over the music folder, because the Droid doesn't have a syncing app and DoubleTwist is outright broken in its sync method) I end up missing like half of it. Usually it takes me a smidgen of time to realize an album is missing, but immediately afterwards I notice a LOT of albums are missing.
I try renaming the artist name folder, and the Droid them makes some attempt to locate the new music. First it gives me the spinning "loading" icon in the upper-right of my albums list view, and then it "resets" the view to the main four icons (Artists, Albums, Songs, Playlists). However, it still doesn't load the new material. I'm assuming at this point that the Droid has an outright song limit that hovers around 3,000. Either that or the "compilations" folder is killing its library search function.
Anyone know if this got fixed in 2.1? At least then I'd have something to look forward to. An alternate music player with cover art support would be fine, too. I don't mind paying extra if it's well-made.
Randomly stopping mid-track on HE-AAC files is also incredibly annoying.

why to add album artwork into the album file to have it show up on the Droid? I have added albums that all have the artwork in the ID3 tag but a few just wont show on the device so I'm wondering if there's another way to add it into the folder on the SD card that will have it show up in the media player?

I was wondering how i could create a new album, i looked through the SD card to see if i could simply create a new folder for the pics but i cant. What im trying to accomplish here is to be able to have a album just for wallpapers so its not mixed in with all the pictures i have added to the phone.

It seems pointless to have something called "Albums" if you have no control over it I want to create an album, and move pictures to it.

Is there any way to select which picture will show as the photo album thumbnail? When I open the photo album the picture that shows as the thumbnail is hard to see and I would like to have another pic as the album thumbnail/icon.I have tried erasing all of the photos, clearing the cache and reloading the photos in various orders but no matter what I try the same photo shows as the thumbnail. Is there any way to change it?

I just purchased the Launcher Pro as this blows the old HTC Sense out of the water. However, I used to have a Photo Album widget when using the original HTC Sense UI.In this widget you could simply swipe your finger up or down on the widget and it would scroll to the next photo. Now that I'm running Launcher Pro I cannot find the Photo Album widget anywhere. I tried out the Photo Gallery widget but it doesn't have the swipe feature.
Anybody know if there is a way that I can get the old Photo Album widget to work on this or a possible alternative?

So, I've been doing some work on getting album art for my songs before putting them on my phone. As a test, I put an mp3 onto my phone, ensuring the album art was in the id (using mediamonkey). However, the art did not appear when playing the song. Any suggestions on how to get album art to work? Or if I'm doing something wrong?

After installing 2.1v2, all my music became disorganized. My albums are all out of whack and the album art sometimes becomes assigned to the wrong song. I'm pretty sure this isn't a problem with my files because everything worked nicely on 1.5. Is anyone else experiencing this bug? Any fixes?

Just wondering how everyone else is managing their music and if its working for them. I am using ITunes and DoubleTwist but can not seem to get the Album Art to show or copy to my device. I have dragged a copy of a music folders directly to my device with the system files including the art work and that works fine. But that means I have to set up all my play lists in driod again which is a PIA. Just curious to see if anyone has it working as we would expect. Click sync and viola playlists with album covers!

After the 2.1 OTA a lot of random photos were thrown in my photo album under separate files, I think one is named something like keyboard...and another one called icons maybe. They are just screen shots of the swype keyboard. I tried to delete them after I dl'd the Nexus Gallery (which is awesome btw thank you Androzoid) but they just came back. Has anyone else had this happen? I haven't tried to delete them yet straight from the SD card to see if that works. Is it okay to delete these or do they serve some purpose?

I am using windows 7 so the htc sync does not work. I know that there is a workaround for this but I am able to connect Eris through usb and then tap on mount SD card and then drag and drop music files from my pc to my Eris. The problem is that the Eris music app does not show any of the album art. The art is in the files so I don't know why it won't show. I created a folder called music and in that folder is a folder for each artist which contains folders for each album. The art is in each album folder. I tried Mixzing media player for a while and some of the album art appeared but maybe only 25%. I like the stock app if it would just show the album art.

Thinking I was deleting a single photo, I accidentally deleted the camera photo album on my Droid Maxx (XT1080). It doesn't have an external memory card so I wanted to mount the phone as a disk drive and use Recuva that I have installed on my laptop. Well Recuva won't recognize the phone since I can only select MTP and PTP. I read that Google removed USB mounting? So how am I supposed to do this? I am unrooted. I was just about to backup all my photos too!
