Motorola Droid X :: Free Droid X Screen Protectors

Hope all of you are enjoying their X's as much as I am. Well anyways, I purchased a three pack of screen protectors from Go Wireless, a authorized Verizon retailer and after putting one on I wanted a different style. These only cover the part of the screen that lights up, not the rest of the glass if that makes sense. These do not cover the top where it says Motorola or the bottom where it says Verizon. So long story short, if you want em, hit me up and I will mail them to you free of charge.

just curious, are the screen protectors from verizon the best ones or is there something else better for around the same price?... since the phone has been out for a couple months now i thought maybe there are more options for screen protectors.

Can someone tell me what is the best screen protector is for the droid. I purchased the invisible shield by Zagg today and the salesman put it on for me. It seems to show some smudges, is there a better brand out there. The guy said that Zagg was one of the best.

I got one last month but Stealth Guard Protectors now have a 50% off deal until midnight tonight when you enter code save50. These are already way inexpensive but now the deal is insane. $5 for full body coverage. Better than BSE and as good as ZAGG invisibleSHIELD at a better price.Fairly simple to apply and scratch-proof.

Is anyone looking for screen protectors for there Eris, i know this is going to sound really weired but you can use packing tape, it works perfectly. it is a lot better than paying $12.99 for it. just thought i would try and help some of you out, and give you a cheaper alternative.

Simply Lockscreen - Android app on AppBrain.I really like this new FREE screen locker replacement. There is no lag when unlocking anymore! You can also set your phone to vibrate directly from the lock screen now. Still could use some polish (larger clock?) but it hasn't been out that long. Hope the developer keeps working on it. Remember to disable the default screen locker or you'll have to unlock 2 every time. What do you guys think?

What is a good free lock screen replacement? I tried lockbot, but it changes style on every lock, and it has some weird bug where if I use the button to lock it, it goes black, then the unlock screen appears (screen doesn't turn off). I do not care much about theming it myself as long as it has a halfway decent theme to begin with, but I do not want to pay for it (yes, I am cheap :P ) and want to get rid of the lag associated with the default lock screen.

Found a few threads about people having problems transferring their phonebook to their hands free kit in their automobile. Had the same problem myself - was able to connect and pair with the car kit. I was able to make and receive calls, but didn't have the phonebook.
Then yesterday, while setting in the car, I was going to re-pair the connection between the phone and car I noticed that in the Notification Bar that the car was asking permission to receive the phonebook from the phone. Opened the Notification and granted permission and clicked on always grant access (or something similar). Phonebook was then transfered. Haven't had a problem with it since...

ok so i am rooted with FRG22 froyo build on my droid1 and i just recieved the OTA update (it didnt see the OTA build number), so i am wondering, if i installed this OTA will it brick my phone? i actually want this update to brick my phone because i just got done reading this story that says if you managed to brick your phone in the process of updating to froyo, they will replace your droid 1 with a droid 2!! so someone please tell me, will this brick my phone? also i already had my droid replaced once before i few months ago when i dropped it, will verizon still give me my Droid 2 replacement?link to this article i read : Droid Broken? my Clarivue Screen Protectors arrived today! I ordered both the anti glare and the clear ones. Reason being that with some companies the anti glare is very grainey. Anyway it was a good chice to order both because the anti glare is pretty grainey, and does distort the screen a little bit. I have it next to my iphone with the Anti glare from Apple, and the one from Apple is much clearer, while still keeping fingerprints off. However the shape fits well, they dont hug the sides, which is good because a tight case will not push the screen up and cause bubbles. They fit just right, and yes they have the U shape on the lower half which is fine. I will most likely replace the Anti Glare with the clear one only because the screen is so nice and vibrant that an Anti Glare will not do it justice at all. Well these Anti Glare ones anyway. Maybe the boxwave, Siedio, or Steinheil ones are a bit clearer and dont show so much grain, and are closer to the apple ones. We'll just have to wait and see what people say in the next couple of weeks. Hope this helps some people out!

Ive seen some cases that go around the entire phone that look more like screen protectors. they may not be as relaiable as a hard or silicon case, but a phone this size i really want to keep it naked-like...any suggestions on some companies i should keep an eye on til june 4?

Whats the best screen protector for the Samsung Behold 2?I got one on ebay but its nothing compared to the ones available for the iphone. If someone knows where to get the best one can you direct me to it so i can buy one?And whats the best hard case for the Behold 2. My wife and I are getting our Eris on Tuesday.I'm thinking about getting the full body protectors from BodyGuardz. Do you guys have any suggestions on which full body protectors work great, and wheter or not BodyGuardz make goo products?I was wanting to by the Invisible Shield from Zaggs, but they're on a 2 week back order.Also, I'm wanting a case or holster for my Eris, any suggestions?

First post and already I am complaining. I guess most of you know already that they don't fit the entire front plate, only the center screen. But I was willing to live with that till better ones came out, but what really got me (unless I did something wrong) was the second tab you are supposed to pull off after installing the shield is stuck on like a sticker that has glue on the back side and left part of the sticker stuck on the screen.On my second attempt I used Goo Gone to get the sticker off first but the application for applying still came out messy.Anyway just a heads up stay away.On a side note one thing that doesnt suck was the red and black gradient case I got for the phone. It feels nice and I believe will absorb most falls to the ground while still protecting the phone. It also looks great and seems to sit flush to the ground so that the camera is not touching the surface directly.

I've had my hero for about 10 days now. So far I am loving it way more than my old winmo phone.That said, I find that the screen is just not nearly as touch sensitive as my ipod touch and im kind of disappointed. I have to press things sometimes 2 or 3 times to get it go. Especially in the corners
1. I did do the text alignment delay
2. I have a screen protector. Its a $20 Invisible Shield by ZAGG that is off the shelf. Could that be causing the slow and unresponsive screen? What do you guys use?
3. Does the hero really NEED a screen protector? I previously had an HTC touch DIAMOND and i didn't use a screen protector evre and it got scratched up to HELL. Just for reference, I used my ipod almost in the same way (in and out of jeans pocket, not with keys, etc) and it didn't scratch AT ALL.Any way to improve this would make me way less disappointed here.
